My wife and I have camped all over Tennessee, Florida and the up the East Coast as far as Pennsylvania. This campground is a gem and the top of our favorite campground list. This is a private gated RV campground on a working farm. The sites are full hook up with plenty of room between RV s. The views are beautiful with wildlife. The 5 ducks and goose were awesome. And live on the ponds on the farm. Andy, the owner is awesome. He is always asking tenants how things are going to make sure everyone is satisfied. He is always upgrading the property. We stayed there from January 11th 2023 to April 9th 2023. Its a little drive out to the campground but the views driving out are gorgeous and your not far from the Mennonites whose products they sell are fresh, super good and cheap. We are gonna miss that. Your also not far from Hopkinsville Ky, Clarksville Tn or Ft Campbell Ky. We highly recommend this campground and if we are ever back in the area we will stay again. Thanks Andy!

Andy is seriously the best host! He is the owner & also lives on the property. He is so helpful & just a great southern guy with such hospitality! The space is great! Has everything you need. It s quiet & the spots have little privacy fences! There s also a pond! We will be back! This is our new favorite hidden gem!

What a lifesaver! RV sites in this part of Kentucky are extremely hard to come by. When we needed a spot, Andy came through and actually built a spot for us. The place is quiet, rustic and peaceful. Andy will do anything to help you and make you feel at home.

Great community. Real southern hospitality in a farm setting with plenty of wildlife. Saw my first bluebird in years.Would def stay again. Just lucky to get a site.

Amazing views, awesome owners who truly care for their tenants! I have stayed at many campgrounds and this has to be one of my favorites! The owner (Andy and Nicole) make you feel like family! Super well maintained lots,beautiful views all around! If you like country living you will love this area and campground. Like your own country paradise! Not overcrowded like most campgrounds, and the skies at night are just breathtaking! Also have some wonderful visitors from all the ducks and geese that occupy the pond( they are such a wonderful surprise)! You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here!

An absolute escape. This little piece of quiet was the perfect get away! You couldn t ask for better community, from all of the friendly campers and the perfect host, my husband and I wished we d planned a longer trip! The glamping tent was exactly what we saw in the photos and there was even ponds for fishing right outside the tent! Will definitely be making another trip soon

This was a great find. New campground, and you can tell the owners are hard workers and are in the process of making it great. It's out in the country a bit, but the drive here is beautiful. Clean, nice spacious sites with full functioning hookups. Lots of room to roam. Theres a big pond beside campground with ducks and a goose. Last night we watched a deer walking behind camoground. Great place. We will plan on staying here again in our future travels.

My hubby & I stayed at Dixieland Campground for 3 weeks in August 2021. Andy was our contact & he was awesome! If we ever get a chance to stay in Kentucky we definitely want to stop here again. Dixieland is wonderful, comfy & a great place to call home while you're RVing. I highly recommend staying here & hopefully one day we will be doing so again. :)

I normally don't write reviews but I thought that Dixieland Campground well deserved one.So far, so good. I am a travel nurse and I think this is the best campground that I been. Just like the previous posts, this is a very country setting.....very laid back and relaxing!! I wished that I would have found Dixieland 3 months ago......I'm so far in the woods that I feel like I'm on my own piece of land. The views are just breath taking. Everyone that I have met has been extremely welcoming. KUDOs to Andy for making such a great place to live!

Love the countryside! Absolutely loved having the deer eat the apple right out of our hand on our front door step. The pond and geese were beautiful. Owners were great. We will be back for sure! Thanks for a great relaxing weekend. Great location for the new casino as well.

Nice place with trees and a pond, away from the highway but not too far away. The owner was really nice and accommodating, making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The neighbors were also nice (and quiet). I would definitely stay here again.

Super cool place. Wonderful memories... Fantastic! Private, not isolated.Great morning view of a valley, and the Jefferson Davis Monument opposite the valley. Just the right amount of creep factor too. There's something at camp that definitely wasn't mentioned beforehand, and wasn't noticed until the owner was long gone. My boyfriend literally stumbled onto it

Been here 5 months now and love it. I usually get a campground close to work but the drive isn't far and nice scenery since i love the country. Owner's are great, and layed back, and lot rent is fair. Highly recommend staying here if you like the country life!

The Owner is super friendly and accommodating. The sites are level and large. The park is beautifully manicured with rolling hills, surrounded by trees and is gated. The rates are very reasonable and the area is so relaxing. You will not be disappointed

Currently full timing in our RV with wife until I retire from the military. Everywhere we looked was either off limits, seemed unsafe, or didnt allow full time/long term sites. 20 minutes from post and in a beautiful area. It's as country as country gets without being lost from civilization. Staff is amazing and extremely friendly!!
