Excellent work, beyond impressed. My car runs great. They get the work done in a timely manner and also quality. Very good communication via email, you re not sitting around waiting for answers/updates for days. Overall a very good shop. Would recommend to anyone!

This is the most under the radar performance shop in KY, with an all around great group of guys who love what they do and are beyond exceptional at it. There's a lot of pride in what they do and deliver. If you're thinking about a performance project give Matt a ring, let him help guide you towards what works for your platform and then get on the calendar. That's exactly what I did. More people should be talking about this shop... the best kept secret in Southern KY, for now...

I was referred by a friend in Indy and he had heard great things about MCR. I am in Louisville and they are about 2 hours away from me so when my wife and i were headed back from Nashville we decided to stop by and meet them and see their shop. Well.... It's in the middle of a cornfield :) You would never know from the outside that this is a great shop with top notch employees. Inside was another story. Corvettes and awesome cars everywhere in different stages of upgrades etc. I have a supercharged Avalanche and have done a lot to it and wanted it dyno tuned. I tried an online tune with Casey at Texas Speed and was not happy at all. Christian kept me well informed and the price was reasonable. They are awesome and I would highly recommend!!

Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. My Camaro ss was at this location for 6+ months without having any work completed. I called the company multiple times to check the status of my car. The receptions would always take my name and tell me someone would return my call. Guess what? NO-ONE ever returned my call. I ended up going to the location and picking my car up without even talking to anyone. The workers in the shop stated the owner was busy going to court and that is why he has not returned my call. When I picked my car up and no work had been completed. My car was covered in dust and had multiple door dings. THIS SHOP EVEN TOOK MY CAR TO A CONVENTION WITHOUT GETTING CONSENT! I had to find out through Facebook. This shop is an absolute joke.

Looked to be a great place to have your car worked on and tuned. Every bay,lift, and dyno had a car occupied. The staff I talked with where friendly. Mechanic I spoke with didn't mind answering a few questions I had. The problem I experienced was. Their was not much interest into gaining me as a customer. I drove 3 hr. To talk to one guy and Mechanic. And was told as the owner pulled in their the guy your going need to talk with. After waiting 30 or 45 more min. The one guy I had been talking to come back from the office with a business card telling I would have to email him. He could talk with me. After that I felt as if I was pushed out the over head doors. And they pulled them down. They wasn't rude or hateful. The people I spoke with where great. I drove over 3 hr one way spend 2 months trying get their. And would love to spend my money with them . And still would like to. But today was a waste of my time and money. To be told I could email someone. I'm sure the email address is on their website. I would recommend possible emailing them before you spend your day on the road..

Best customer service i have experienced period. Very professional, knowledgeable, and honest. Outstanding work, but the proactive updates was very refreshing. I never had to call and ask for a status. I was always provide progress updates.They never rushed me off the phone. They answered all my questions and provided great feedback and recommendations. Never condescending.I will be recommending everyone to them. Matt. Mike and the entire team were a pleasure to work with.Thank you all for everything you did.Jason

The knowledge of everyone was super comforting and helpful when first inquiring about getting my car upgraded. I had a stage 3 cam and tune done to the car. Throughout the entire process I was updated and they answered any questions I had. Matt, Mike, and the rest of the team are passionate about what they do and you can tell as soon as you walk into the shop your car will be in good hands. I will be recommending MCR Tuning to everyone who want quality work done to their cars.

I've brought 3 cars for MCR to fab on and tune for me. From simple bolt on jobs to full on custom power adder installation. I was excited to see that he approached the bolt on build/tune with the same attention to detail & professionalism as he did with my high dollar full custom cars. Matt was attentive to my needs & goals and went out of his way to hit those marks, while all along the way including me in the decisions being made and taking the time to explain my options and why. I came away from each experience with Matt with more than I paid for, not just with a wonderfully running car in the drive ability department but also with more average power than I though possible.I also left there with a new found knowledge thanks to his willingness to teach me why/how certain things are done. I went to MCR for some hotrod work and couldn't be more happy with the results. I also left smarter than when I came in, (a definite A+ when it comes to forming a relationship with a tuner) but also with a new friend that was there for any questions I had long after the work was done. I never felt like he was rushing me to get off the phone or selling me on something i didn't need..Customer service was at its best !Thanks again MCR - I look forward to many more projects in the future.

When they LS- swapped a Ferrari I was intrigued; most kids where I'm from were learning how to row gears the same time they were taking off training wheels. I've read articles and met face to face with more local tuners than I could count and what really places this shop in a league of their own is their commitment to the customer, professionalism and respect. The common theme I've noticed with the 1-star reviews is the customer deviates from prescribed plan for the vehicle or "their buddy does it cheaper." Buy once, cry once is the name of the game with this company. They work countless hours to accommodate their customers, they're a seamless team each with their own specialty making their wheelhouse a real contender as they continue to grow in scale. They want to make the customer happy first and foremost, but when they're given the freedom to really dig into tried and true formulas they are able to not only to maximize power gains, but they are also able to make the most sensible decision on behalf of their customer due in large part to their experience, furthermore their partnerships with the likes of: Texas Speed & Performance, Holley, and Renegade allow them to pass those savings along to their customers. I've been fortunate to have the opportunity to tour the shop with Kyle multiple times and the narrative never changes: "Get the best performance to satisfy the customer at the best price". I truly began trusting the shop when he would deny certain performance parts touted by magazines & forums due to marginal performance gains for the price. Tools and time does not make one a mechanic and they've un-monkeyed more than their fair share of engines/ builds, stripping engines down to make them hit blistering speeds time after time. Your trust will be well placed with this shop. It is a business first and foremost, but there's so much more: they're racers, car guys and they're committed to their craft.

Very professional and extremely thorough. Took my 15 sierra to them, they installed a stage 2 cam and tuned it, along the way they noticed a few different things that needed to be done while doing the build and they went ahead and took care of it. Truck is very responsive and runs better than new. Matt was easy to stay in touch with during the build to keep me updated on the progress and tune the truck to suit my needs. I HIGHLY recommend mcr tuning if your looking to get rid of the afm system on a gen 5 truck.

MCR's customer service and quality of work is above reproach. I'll never go anywhere else and there are numerous people I know who feel the same! If you're dropping money on a build and want to ask a slew of questions, they give you their time and intellect without any negativity. It's a true pleasure to have met these professionals, they have exceeded my expectations by far!

I guess these guys could just do an oil change..... But let me tell you about their skill. These cats specialize in high performance. Corvette, but don't stop there. Engine swaps to Diagnostics, I keep an eye out for Technicians , and these guys make the mark. I know them on a professional level. When I need someone to do the job, I'll give MCR a call.

We used to be good acquaintances until he sat on my car for 5 months for a job quoted for about 12 hours, then wanted a few more weeks to finish it after I began questioning when it would be done. We had an agreement that he could clear out his winter work then get on mine. But week after week his facebook page was covered in all these big jobs and poster cars. Where mine was not even half done for a premade harness and adapt a few wires from original harness to engine for dash gauges.Hence his actual quote, " I don't care about the little jobs, they can wait. I only care about the big jobs. That's where the money is".I was never told any of the things he did to the "little guys" because they all knew he was my "friend" and come to find out, quite a few people I know have now told me they had the same issue and ended up picking up their vehicle unfinished or untuned for just basic stuff needing done or just a tune.So basically, if you don't have 10 grand or more to spend on bolt ons and a tune, he won't bother with you or push you back to when he feels like doing it. It's a typical bolt on and dyno shop. But there's better shops out there, you may just have to travel. But it'll be worth it to you.Also, if you build it yourself and want it tuned, he probably won't touch it.In response to Matts answer, Nothing he ever did for me was free. I always had things to trade off and frequently brought him things that I had extra. He also knew that I needed the car about May time frame because I told him I still had a lot to do to it and was wanting make the Etown cruise in July, now moved to June, then LSFest.And he has said a few times about little jobs vs big jobs. My son and another friend can attest to it.As for the harness, there are 9 wires being integrated into the Holley harness that already is wired and has a plug built in and using the OE harness that is already wired. But he was able to fully intgrate the same holley harness into a Corvette and still retain the OE PCM and harness in roughly 2 weeks. But mine sat for over 4 months and was barely touched. Full harnesses are built from scratch in less than 4 hours, but he says he had 20+ hours in just extending 28 wires, 20 inches. Yes, I counted them.But any bad reviews don't get put on here because most guys don't know or care about Google reviews. Yet somehow one very bad review I know of is no longer on here. I want to thank Matt and everyone at MCR. They know what they're doing. I took my challenger to them to be tuned. I was there a couple of hours and it was done, they answered every question i had about performance. They made sure i was comfortable. Their shop is clean and organized snd they are really reasonable on their prices. Without them i would not have been able to compete in Holley Moparty. I took a basically stock daily driver(2012 challenger) to them and after they were done i was able to compete with cars that had 700+ RWHP. I placed 4th and 5th in autocross. I will definitely recommend them to everyone, i will be going back for more work to be done.THANKS AGAIN MCR TUNING..........

I am very stoked, happy,pleased, and picked the correct builder. Mcr Tuning and Matt the owner are outstanding. I took my TV No Prep street racing car to Matt. Could not of picked a better place. Very smart, and a true guru to these cars. He did cam , heads, and injectors on my boosted car. It gained 157 rwhp. Outstanding and street manners are awesome. Matt and his guys were fast and sent all pics and info all the time. He will not do anything to cut corners. He's a true business and really really the most honest guy and company I've ever been to. If you decided to go else where your already second guessing yourself. Might as well get the mind set with MCR Tuning. I'll never go anywhere else and he's 4 hours away. I'm in Bloomington Indiana. I just wanna say THANK YOU MATT AND MCR TUNING. ILL BE BACK TO SEE YOU. Watch 660 Grudge street and A2B productions for the show tv programming. "THEE BEAST" cars name will be racing cars all over USA. Thanks again Matt and MCR Tuning. Couldn't be more pleased. A train could not pull this good. Very awesome job!!! Thanks again

10/10 performace shop. Great guys, all of them. Very knowledgeable and explain everything they are doing in detail. Sometimes dumbing it down to help me understand. This shop is packed with cars every day of the week for a reason. Matt does great work on every platform wether it be Ls or LT. He knows what he s doing. Stand up people running this shop! Again, 10/10 would recommend!

Contacted tuner at MCR TUNING To get my car retuned And made appointment. Spent over $10000 in parts and labor on building my engine in 1st shop. Took it to 2nd shop to get it tuned Got it back home and was not happy with Tune. After arrival at MCR TUNING I spend 45 minutes explaining the tuner my goal with a car and showed him 3 sheets of new parts After reviewing everything I was ensured that they can help me Meet my goal. Left the shop few days later received a call that was some work that needed to be done in order to tune The car.(Wiring issue) Was told you were only take an hour. After getting All that straighten out the tuner proceeded with tuning I was called in that day and was told the car should be done by certain time which I've arrived 30 minutes before that. After finalizing and doing one last run the car returned back to shop On tow truck. Coolant and oil was leaking everywhere after further Inspection I was told then radiator was busted head gasket was blown and possible head damage. Which was confirmed couple of days later after Whole Turbo kit and head was removed. I was called in in the shop And I was told that would Cost proximately between $1500 to $2000. I was explained That Was not his fault . I felt disappointed and taken Advantage of and honestly scared if I request Tuner to fix damage That was obviously not present when I brought the car for tuning He would have not fixed my car or Even worse possibly called police on me. So I accepted situation and told him to fix the issue and retune my car. After almost 3 months A car was finally running. I will was called in and I paid around $1800 and was told That my valve cover gasket was leaking oil With explanation that previous mechanic my have over tightened the bolts. After that I left with my car on my way home I found out One of my wheels was not properly tightened When I got home I noticed my Waste gate was only hand tight and I had oil leak. When I told that to. tuner he said that's unpossible the card was running so smooth.Several weeks after that I went several times to the shop to install Gauge for air fuel ratio. After several promises and Couple of trips That issue was not resolved. In last 4 months of not going back to the shop I've discovered several Parts being either lose hand tightened. My Manifold was Loose and missing one bolt Turbo line was hand tight and was leaking oil My waste gate was barely tight Driver side airbag sensor was just hanging Which could definitely Activate the airbag if came in contact with Anything in the Bay. That was couple of parts That I did not get back also. I have recommended personally several on my friends to him and they went to his shop And he was working on their car while my car was sittin outside of His garage. Also took Extra time to finish because He was working on his personal cars and going to races and card shows. Needless to say with all parts just been barely put back I went to different shop to go to my whole car and make sure that everything was correct. After I contacted tuner He denies any wrong doing. I went to get my car tuned and ended up spending close to $3000. And got my car back That was unsafe to drive. Call the tuner and asked 4 portion of my money back He denied any wrongdoing and threaten me with his lawyer And court. And he said I "I have my customers And my lawyer stand on my side And he will not cost me not even a penny . And I was also told that I'm hurting for money So that's what I am trying to scam him for his money. I am not hurting for money matter of fact I am volunteer Fire fighter I have regular Regular job I was paying $100 an hour And every time I brought a friend or stop by the shop his helper was working on my car. I have nothing personal against anybody in the shop I think they are great people but I did not get service that I paid for. I have worked 5 years without A-day off so I can build my dream car I have lost a kidney and eye in car accident But I'm working and supporting my family. Dream crusher.

Bought my c5 to them to have dyno tuned paid 500.00 for them to do one pull.they gave me a dyno chart with no air fuel chart told me it's tuned to rich and didn't even re tune car still charged 500.00 for nothing then told me they didn't have time to fix and kinda rushed me out the door I wanted alot of work done pro charged and supporting mods they acted like they wanted nothing to do with it

Very unprofessional find better tuning elsewhere this is not the place to go charged me 600 and had to pay to have done at another place, good luck staying in business treating customers this way, copy and paste tuner be very weary
