Where do I even start? Walking in for the first time was quite a pleasant surprise! There is a LOT of fabric to choose from. It is so well organized, the map is a genius idea (as is the barcode scanner at the cutting tables!!!). I found some bits I hadn't seen back home and I adore them all.

I enjoyed looking at all the colorful fabrics. They also carry upholstery and curtain fabrics. They have quilt kits, blocks of many sizes, and color grouping packages. I saw prices from $5.99 on up. The average price was around $7.99. Even if you don't quilt, this place is a must-see.

Been shopping online for years and just happened to be in town on a random adventure weekend. Loved seeing all the fabric. The selection was amazing. I didn't have near enough time.

I ordered a couple of quilt kits, they are beautiful! I recently placed two orders for more fabric. One 10 days ago, the other 4 days ago....both orders are still pending fulfillment. If you want an order sooner, you pay expedited shipping.

Horribly disappointed with my experience today. No one said hi, can I help you. I counted 10 employees while I was there. I had to wait to pay for my fabric, the cashier did apologize for the delay. The employees seemed to all be filling online orders. Couldn't you have 1 employee greeting customers? I drove from Michigan and was so excited to experience Hancock's. I did leave not wanting to return. I was pleased with the selection and price of the fabrics.

Just received my order of a bundle of fat quarters of Benartex "Cherry Hill" fabric and I love it !! It arrived so quickly. And the quality of the fabric is wonderful. Can't wait to get into it. Thanks.

I've never been in their building; but online shopping is the bomb! If you are having fabrics cut, then expect a long delay. Precuts ship quickly. Either way, the fabric is top quality.

Worst Customer Service ever!!! I ordered several yards of 4 different fabrics on March 2. Almost 2 weeks later I get an email stating they have changed credit card processors and need the security code. They said they would call, gave the number that would appear on caller ID and swore that it wasn t a fraudulent email. I waited several days, no call. So I dialed the number and it directed me to the website. I called the 1800 number and was informed that was for placing an order only. I sent an email and just got a response today telling me to call 1800 number and hit 1 to talk to a rep. That would be a good idea but when I called a recorded voice said E100 and I was disconnected both times I dialed. Here it is 20 March, I checked the order and one fabric is labeled as sold out while my order was pending fulfillment. This nonsense about being overwhelmed and so there will be a lot of delays is just that nonsense. I have been ordering for years and never have I run into such problems and non answers from the company, or any company. They honestly do not want to hear from anyone. Once I login to the site, the contact us option disappears. What s going on? Are they going to of business but dont want to say so?**** Received an email from Katrina from customer service shortly after this review was posted with a number to call, called it and received 3 out of 4 fabrics that I had originally ordered, the fourth being out of stock by the time they answered the phone after all this time. Still am very disappointed at how their customer service works or doesn t work.

Worst experience ever. It has been weeks since I ordered fabric and it hasn't even shipped yet. I tried to call but it is a recorded message and nowhere to leave a message or anything. Not even an email so I cannot contact them at all. I cannot find a place on their website to cancel my order which was over $400.00 so I can't order fabric from someone else because I don't want to get charged twice. I will never order from this business again.

Love this place. Best place to shop for fabric. If you go in person, be sure to leave a few hours. Great place to fill holes in your stash or plan a whole new quilt!

My only experience is online. Super slow, as in weeks, in getting fabric cut and out the door. What I have gotten has been fine.

Note: Had to update with photos of the beautiful fabric- El approved- that I received via my latest order! Another wonderful haul! Thank you so much!!Although it has been many years since I have been able to visit in person, I LOVE how wonderful their website is and how quickly they fill, ship, and take care of my orders as they fill it for free-- because-- let's face it-- who can spend less than $35 when you look at this amazing fabric and notions! The specials and the threads!I try to be the reasonable adult I am, making a 'wish list' of special and unique fabrics, sales, and eye catching designs-- and then force myself to consider if I really 'need' all of that-- and make a deal with myself that I have to get whatever project I have been working on complete BEFORE the start of another-- and that whatever I purchase has to have a purpose-- not just a fabric that I really liked-- to give myself a week...A week will pass, I will be back-- looking at the selections I have made in my basket-- I have no regrets I am NOT done with mu project, but HAVE managed to talk myself into adding MORE onto my 'wish' list. I have two projects in my wish basket so I buy it. The fabric is even better in person, the prints are exactly as they are shown, they fill orders exactly and with much care and I am very satisfied.I would never go to anyone else for the batiks. The quality is simply unsurpassed. I like dealing with a Paducah store as this was my grandparents hometown, my mother's hometown, and I am fond of the place. This really IS fabric heaven!! One day I am going to bring my daughter in law who I currently teaching to quilt, I think she will LOVE it!! She's only been to JoAnne's-- smh-- she'll be surprised! Lol! Everyone who loves fabric should LOVE this store!! It is amazing!!

My mom loves to shop here. Great selection of fabrics. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The store is clean, and well organized. There is a nice seating area well stocked with magazines for me to brows while she shops.

Great place for quality fabrics. Assembly line style. No wall hangings or samples. Just good quality fabrics at reasonable prices. Like a warehouse design inside. I have ordered many things from here so was fun to see the store. Fabrics organized by designer - ie Moda, Free Spirit, Northcott. Much easier to shop online. Dong give quantity discounts in the store have to order online. More online sales than in person. Did find a few remnants too - they said this was new to the store. Easy to spend a lot of money fast in here!

My order had a USPS shipping label on it but was sent fed ex. On my account it says USPS and after a couple weeks of USPS tracking saying it hadn t received the package yet I contacted Hancock s and I was given a fed ex tracking code. After another week had a trace put on it (fed ex) and finally received my fabric after 20 days. The package was ripped, fabric soiled and wrinkled since it was just thrown in a plastic mailer with no plastic bag as most companies do. Not a good experience shopping with Hancock s. Past experiences have been great though so not sure what is going on. Have they been bought out by someone else maybe?

Amazing selection of fabric at the best prices. Look for the orange tags. We went twice just to be able to look around the entire store.

It was a bit overwhelming, warehouse full of pre-cuts and fabric by the yard. Staff was helpful, only drawback was choosing what to take home and when to stop, lol.

Unfortunately it has been a terrible experience it trying to order fabric. When I ordered the product it was in stock...& I waited 4 days to get a shipping confirmation which never came. Now the product is out of stock. Spend 45 mins trying to cancel the order. No one came on the chat line and the websites phone number is invalid. When I finally reached them on a valid number there was only an option to place an order. Terrible customer service

Another place i could move into! I easily spend 2 hours here and still not see everything. Sure, it's 90% fabric, but what a selection! I really miss the old remnant table. That was tons of fun to dig through. A lot of work for the employees, though.

It is a shame you cannot talk to someone on the phone unless you want to place an order. Even though the recording says "press 1 to place an order", you have to press 1 in order to talk to someone. Change the recording - I wanted to inquire about an order, so I didn't press 1! Also the "chat" option on the website is useless.

This shop may be great for in person sales, but the online experience leaves much to be desired. And, the company doesn't put the customer first, they put their top dollar first and pretend they care about customers. My experience is as follows. And I will try to do a short version.I purchased several fabrics, one of which was 9 yards of, what I thought to be, white fabric with a very subtle pattern. The photo of the fabric shows exactly that. When I got the fabric, it turns out it was a (very poor quality) plain white. I called them about it and was told that plain white was what I had ordered. Per their return policy, I was welcome to return it at my shipping expense. I felt that this was unfair since their photo depicted an entirely different fabric than what I got. However they said that it was my fault for zooming in (which I did not do) and that their title description was what the fabric was and that I should have gone off of that. How was I to know that the image they were projecting wasn't what the title depicted? I am not a fabric savant and to me, it DID depict the photo! Yes, the title said solid, but there are several listings that also say solid but show a subtle pattern. And, I'm the customer. It's the sellers responsibility to make sure they're presenting their product correctly in both the title AND the image. I was told that they would give me a discount, but that if I wanted to return it I had to pay shipping. I offered to split shipping, (which would have been the discount amount anyways.) Again, the answer was no.I sent an email the Hancocks President, Justin Hancock. He was entirely unsympathetic, again putting the blame and responsibility on me, the customer. He said he didn't see the pattern, so I sent photos. I was told that it was not a pattern, but distortion from the camera. How am I supposed to know that!?!? Put a disclaimer ON the photo then saying that there may be distortion!!I filed a complaint with BBB and somehow they said they had reached out to me and that I didn't respond so the case was dropped. I decided that for $17 (or $8.50 since I said I'd pay half) it just wasn't worth it anymore and just let it go.The final straw with this company though was when I was going through my fabrics when I was ready for the project I had ordered all the fabric for, and found one was missing. I wasn't sure if I had just not ordered it or if they had forgotten to put it in, so I went to log into my account only to find that they had deleted my entire account. No order history, nothing. That is so extremely petty of them. They're supposed to be a professional company not a vindictive bully!I do NOT recommend this company in ANY capacity for the simple fact that there is a lack of morals and values and absolutely no customer service. This was something that I felt was totally their fault for misrepresenting the fabric, however I had been willing to split the cost of the shipping. But my patronage wasn't worth $8.50 to them. Horrid. IF you do want to shop from them, I would recommend you do it in person.
