Had problems the whole time I was staying at this establishment. The housekeeper was trying to sneak into clients rooms. The housekeeper came to me at 1 in the afternoon while I was outside and said he was going to call the law because I was talking to loud on a conference call. Also the housekeeper drinks and spit on me one night while he was intoxicated and even asked me a guest for a cigarette from me which shouldn't of even happen since I was a paying customer. Also found out the housekeeper has been in trouble for touching a 6 year old girl in the past and was aloud to just walk around the kids unmonitored,WHICH IS SICKENING AS I AM A FATHER TO A 7 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. There is trash all over the property from lack of groundskeeping cleaning up trash. The owner was extremely rude on many occasions and threatened to kick you off the property if you say something he does not agree with and yells at you like you are nothing. Was given no towels and had to purchase my own. I do have to say that the location is perfect but almost doesn't matter when the staff and ownership treats it's guests like the are nothing and so disrespectful. ADVISE EVERYONE TO TAKE A SECOND THOUGHT BEFORE CHECKING INTO THIS ESTABLISHMENT ON 5120 HINKLEVILLE ROAD PADUCAH,KY. AS THERE ARE MULTIPLE HOTELS THAT ARE NICER AND CHEAPER THAN THE RATES AT THIS HOTEL.......Guest beware of rodent problems as well..Also, if there is problems with your room then you are not allowed to change rooms as quote on quote " the guest have to check the room as soon as they walk in the room and once your bags are unpacked you have to stay in that room..Rooms: Dirty and not cleaned well before I checked in. Floor paneling falling off wall. Sir conditioners failed to be cleaned. Have to get own broom and mop to clean room because housekeeping does not clean rooms daily if you pay for more than one night.Safety: Housekeeper has been in trouble for touching little girls aand allowed to roam freely at the establishment without being monitoredAnimals there not kept in order and my dog which stayed for a week was attacked by another guest dog and past away 3 days later from related injuries when you have to pay $10 daily for a pet and are hounded by staff about payment or threatened to be kicked off property.Walkability: Most necessities are within 10 minutes walking distanceNoteworthy details: STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL AND THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS LOST FUTURE BUISNESS WITH NOT ONLY FROM ME BUT ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. HAD TO LEAVE EARLY BEFORE MY ALREADY PAID NIGHTS WAS UP AND WENT TO ANOTHER HOTEL WHICH WAS CHEAPER AND 10X NICER CALLED THE MUSTANG INN. FOR $82 A NIGHT AT ECONO AND $70 AT MUSTANG INN, THE MUSTANG MAKES ECONO LODGE LOOK LIKE A HOMELESS SHELTER

Me, my fianc, and our son stayed here and the floors appeared dirty so my fianc got a towel to wipe them and the towels literally turned black from how disgusting the floors were and there were several dead cockroaches in the room. When we complained to management (brought the nasty towels and pics of bugs) they did end up giving us a refund but first they threatened to call the cops (my fiance was understandably upset but never even raised his voice) and banned us from ever coming back all because we complained and asked for a refund because the place was so disgusting. I m sure it sounds like I m just leaving something out but I am honestly not, we complained about the room and they jumped straight to saying they would call the cops and banning us but we were like whatever because we will never stay there again anyway. The manager actually had the audacity to accuse us of bringing our own filthy towels and dead bugs lol.You could not pay me to stay here. The rooms are disgusting and management is very difficult to deal with and very very rude. Definitely DO NOT bring your children to this filth hotel.Rooms: Disgusting and infested with bugs.Noteworthy details: If you complain about anything to the managers, they will call you liars and ban you from the place.

Worst. Hotel. Ever. If I could I would leave a negative 5 rating. My friend had a horrible experience following a bad car accident while traveling through Paducah. His truck was totaled and he was taken to the hospital along with his dog. After being released a taxi driver helped him find a place to stay and this was the only place they could find. The room was filthy and the sheets were full of holes. Shower was so dirty that my friend wouldn't even use it. But the worst part was that the next morning, while waiting for a taxi to take him to rent a car, the manager refused to let him wait in the lobby until the taxi arrived. His shirt had been cut off at the hospital and all he had to wrap up in was the blanket the hospital gave him at discharge. He had to stand outside in 38 degree weather with his dog until the cab finally arrived. The manager wouldn't even fix him a cup of coffee because it was after 9:00 am. I've never heard of such horrible behavior from a hotel. Will never, ever use Econo Lodge again.

The absolute worse hotel i have ever stayed in. I am here working with a group of 45 plus ppl , and about 10 of us had bed bugs in our rooms . When we told the office about it we were called liars even when we offered proof with pics and videos of the bugs . It cost me over 75.00 to wash all of our stuff including my car so I didn't transfer with bed bugs to a different hotel . The staff was rude and the rooms were dirty and holes in the sheets . Several rooms even had mold ... Upon checking in this was the only motel that had rooms available due to a quilting convention. Luckily I am in a WAY better Hotel now ...Rooms: Bed bug infestationWalkability: Close to restaurants , mall , and WalmartNoteworthy details: I would advise not to stay here!!!

The room was absolutely atrocious (wish I would have taken photos). Thankfully I brought my own cleaning supplies so I could clean the diarrhea splatters off the wall by the toilet and the toilet bowl. Wear house shoes or flip flops in the room because your feet will be completely black on the bottom. I think the $10 pet fee was a little unfair seeing how the place was probably cleaner after I left than when it was when I arrived. But I m not a confrontational person, so I just dealt with it for one night. But I ll never stay again. Also didn t like people loitering outside of my door late at night causing my dogs to freak out. Felt a little sketchy going outside to walk my dogs.

You get what you pay for. NO FREE BREAKFAST. Also, I accidentally got the smoking room I didn t realize that was still a thing, it reeked of smoke, the fire alarm was removed (safety issue), and there was cigarette burns everywhere (bedding, curtains, floor, shower ) It was wiped down but didn t feel clean. I asked for non-smoking and apparently offended the worker who said if I was staying multiple nights he could possibly accomidate. Truth is most places claimed no vacancy, so it was the third or fourth hotel I tried. I was afraid to sleep on the bed and examined for bed bugs (I didn t see any). We survived - other than the smoking issue it seemed nicely furnished with working facilities, fridge, microwave and free Wi-Fi. The location is great just off the interstate and right next to Walmart with a gas station. Loved the luggage carts

People may think I'm crazy for this review, but the hotel pricing was on point. We had a family emergency and were able to stay there without breaking the bank. We did not have issues with the staff. The room was accommodating for what we needed. If I had to stay there again, I would.Rooms: Our room was nice for the price and it served our needs while we were out there.Nearby activities: Hotel is not far from restaurants and shopping.Walkability: We had a restaurant that was right in front of our hotel as well as a gas station. Everything was in walking distance.

We were flying in and out, one night only just to meet up with my brother. We drove 6 hours today and have to drive 6 tomorrow so we NEED to sleep well. It's almost midnight and we're still awake, why because we were about to go to bed and bed bugs started crawling on my sister in laws pillow. NOPE! We bolted to find a different hotel which was difficult tonight to find availability! So disrespectful of our time. Reading these reviews, they're obviously aware.

The room was good enough. 2 beds and a bathroom, which is all we needed. Appreciated the fact that there were plenty of restaurants near by, and a Walmart right behind. The floor in the room was sticky, and the dresser had no working drawers. Pool was closed what seemed like permanently, but that wasn't a big deal to us. Didn't see any bugs. Being on the cheaper side of motels/hotels, of course there was your pick of shady activities around. Some shady looking people and what appeared to be a "lady of the night" asked us for some help. Staff was pretty friendly and made jokes with us. All in all, if you're looking for a cheap place to stay and your just passing through, it's not horrible.

My first time in Paducah went absolutely amazing staying at this hotel. Everything from the man at the front desk (younger guy) to our room was absolutely lovely. He was so friendly, answered all of our questions, and made sure we had everything that we needed. We needed a bottle opener and he pointed us in the direction of one on our sink. Once we got back to our room, he gave us a call to make sure we had found it. Wish we had gotten his name. Our room had two large beds, a table with chairs, big bathroom, large sink/vanity, fridge, microwave, and powerful a/c unit! My friend and I had a very enjoyable stay and have decided to make Econo Lodge the only place we will stay when visiting. Thank you so much, Econo Lodge! We can t wait to come back in November!

We booked this room online without seeing it. I didn t expect it to be super high quality (we just needed a place to sleep for the night) but when entering the parking lot I became concerned. Felt like the kind of place you might want to rent by the hour. We asked to cancel the reservation we had just made within the hour and they refused. We left and found another hotel. We had kids with us and didn t feel safe.

Economically priced. Only stayed 1 night passing through. Suggestion for this hotel and all for that matter... With cold weather coming on, keep smokers and nonsmokers apart as much as possible. The person in the room next to me went out at 11:30pm and started their car and set in it to smoke. Door slams, loud cars!Nearby activities: A lot of places to shop.Food & drinks: Lots of places for dine in or to go food.

This is a great Econolodge!! I don't know where all the bad reviews are coming from....unless folks are holding this hotel at a standard higher than they should. This is not a Marriott, nor does it claim to be....it's literally in the name of the hotel.....ECONOlodge....budget friendly, modest hotel.I have stayed at several Econolodge locations, and this is easily one of the best! There were no bugs in my room as people claimed in some reviews....it was not in disrepair....it was actually quite updated and modern!!! Most importantly it was clean, and comfortable!! The staff was friendly and welcoming...no complaints! Other than the pool being closed....that was a bummer since it's so hot, but I'm grown and got over it. Don't let the bad reviews keep you from a good night that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Stay here!

Good value. Rooms were clean and everything was in good working order. The front desk clerk, Andy was very nice and accommodating of our request for adjoining rooms. Lots of restaurant options and a Walmart nearby. Much better than a typical Econolodge.

The gentleman that checked us in was very nice. The location was ideal as was the price. HOWEVER, when we turned the lights off to go to sleep, and the roaches came out! I turned a light on to get my phone charger, and there were 3 visible roaches on the night stand! My friend and I (at 12:30am) got our stuff and went to the front desk. The woman didn't seem surprised and said she could put us in a different room. When we asked if that room had roaches too... then what? She said she could move us again. Needless to say, we left and got another hotel. I called in the morning and a RUDE gentleman said that the room had been used and my card had already been charged, and the "manager" would be back Friday night (2 days later) and call then. I haven't, because it has only been one day. I'd rather lose the cost of the night and leave a review now that could help someone else. NEVER STAY HERE!

Good location, the owner is super polite, and the rooms seem to be in good shape, not a bunch or partying goin on, very quiet atmosphere here.Rooms: Spread out, easily accessible, pool, parking next to your room, and close to any kind of food you might want.

We checked in late in the evening, around 10:30pm. The girl who. Checked us in was very nice and helpful. The room was clean, nothing fancy but we got a king sized bed that was comfortable. When we got up to get breakfast at the free continental breakfast that was advertised we found out they don't have one. That was one of the reasons we stopped there. All they had was bad coffee with powdered creamer packets and packets of sweet n low, not even good sweeteners or real sugar. We passed on the coffee. So no breakfast was a disappointment but other than that it was a nice place.

Room was very clean and Large. I could put a single bed and dresser in the bathroom but it had a strange shower no tub very small sink with no vanity to put anything on and a toilet bedroom only had a bed poor pillows small refrigerator and very scarcely furnished no coffee in the morning and no coffee pot in the room. Price was good and all in all I would stay there again but will be better prepared

We checked in later at night and the guy at the front desk was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and warm when we moved into it!! There s not any breakfast, even though there s a sign up that says there will be. You can t get into the actual lobby, I assume because of Covid, but just into the entryway. It s right off of the highway, which is super convenient!

The room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Obviously the price was great! My parents stayed there on their way home from Florida during Covid 19. The front desk had a partition from the guests, the employees we were greeted by were very nice (Amanda and Amber). My parents definitely recommend and they will stay there again if passing through.

It was just ok. Saw a couple spiders, which worried me that they don't have good pest control. A few things were dirty looking, like the floors needed to be swept and the light switch. It was a non smoking room but it looked like a cigarette burn on the night stand and I smelled smoke every time the vent came on. That may not be the hotels fault though because it could have been someone smoking outside our door. I do think they should separate the smoking and non smoking better.

There was 6 in long hairs on the shower wall, also floor felt slimy. When I was crawling into the bed it felt like when my kids eat chips in my bed watching TV with my wife. The toilet ran every 10 mins all night. The stairs are rotten in the back. They were full so no other rooms were available, didn't have a choice but stay there. Will never stay again.

This place is horrible!!!!People smoking cigarettes and weed all over the place. The smell of weed was unbearable. Couldn't sleep because everyone was yelling all night. They were threatening to throw them in jail and all other stuff. Vulgar language could be heard all night. So definitely not family friendly. Didn't feel safe at night. Never staying here again. If I could I would give it 0 starsDON'T STAY HERE !!!!
