I m in the computer business and know nothing about auto body. Had some work done over a year ago after a friend recommended Marty. The work was done quickly and I was very pleased with the quality. Of course the test of time is what is important, and I have nothing but good things to say now that at least a year has passed. The price though was unbelievably low, which is why I wanted to wait before I posted a review. Best quote I got!

Awful- My hood was painted in '06 by this body shop. As of last year the mostly-garage-kept paint job had deteriorated terribly and now is to the point that it's down to the metal. I am having to have it repainted. After talking to 3 body shops for estimates they all said that the surface wasn't prepared properly and ALL 3 offered lifetime warranties on their work. After realizing that most body shops offer warranties I contacted Marty's to see if they could repair the job. The man on the phone (whom I assume was Marty) was extremely rude and told me that people who"fix totaled cars" although mine wasn't totaled (my mom's was- and it was also repaired there) are basically not looking for good work, but just enough to get the job done so they can get rid of it. OR GIVE IT TO THEIR DAUGHTER!!! He did not offer to repair it but did ask if I wanted to pay to have him fix it- umm no thanks! I can absolutely accept if they do not offer warranties, however the manner in which he answered my questions, his condescending attitude, and the way he seemed to dodge questions about the quality of work or any warranty was pathetic. Not a shining example of integrity and good work in my opinion.

Great, honest people! They will not scam you and their work is AWESOME! I am so happy that I took my car to Marty's Body Shop.

Of course other body shops will tell someone the paint wasn't prepared properly. They need the work. Burger King is gonna say mcdonalds doesn't prepare burgers properly when asked... some people want the bare minumum done. Martys will accommodate budgets. I have been there daily for a month, nothing but excellent workmanship. He is there to help the consumer. Excellent hail repair shop as well. I would recommend martys body shop to my grandmother.
