My gratitude towards Gearheads is unparalleled. I drive an old car that is ready to give out on me and frequently have unexpected car troubles. Since the first time I sought help from Gearheads, they've always gotten me in and out promptly with consideration to my immediate transportation needs (need my car for work, pick my child up from daycare, etc.). They've truly gone above and beyond to ensure that my car is safe and drivable and that I'm not without transportation. Their pricing is also fair and when compared to other mechanics and auto services, Gearheads consistently comes out as more reasonably priced and affordable. Their customer service is as commendable as their work. I truly appreciate any interactions I have with their team, from the management to the technicians. They know me by name, always make me feel welcome and taken care of, and answer any and all questions I may have with honesty. If they're not sure about something, they don't lie to make a sale. At this point, I don't even consider going to anybody else for my car needs as they've proven to be the best choice time and time again. Had my car taken here for a secondary opinion. Did not actually do an evaluation of the car. Regurgitated what valvoline told them to say. Wouldn't trust them with anything after this experience.

I sat down and talked to the guy that was working there. Happened to be the owner of the store. Very nice, honest, and cuts straight to the chase with no B.S. Charges the best prices in and around town. I challenge you to find service the good and a price this great. It's almost unfair. I had my air condition completely replaced and it was all done in 5 hours. They commit to the prices they tell you, no hidden fees, no extra labor charges and shipping and handling. I brought the shop Wednesday they offered a free diagnosis and by Friday I had it fixed! It was blowing icicles!!! Love this place and will continue going from now on

I had my car towed there after hours Tuesday, called them them Wednesday morning & they had my car done that same day! I couldn t be more thankful for this shop because they saved me from missing one of the most important days of my life my brothers wedding! I highly recommend this shop 100000/10. Just had Gear Head work on my truck. I was scheduled for next week and the truck got worse so they worked me in almost a week early with no problem. Picked up my truck a couple days later and could not be happier. I didn t realize how much power it had. I am recommending them to all my friends. FYI. If you have a hard time trusting a mechanic you need to call them. I have 100% trust in them. PS. They did not try to up sale me at all. They did what I asked them to do and charged me a low rate based on how long it took. Thank you so much again to everyone at Gear Head.Service: Engine repair

Stephen and the guys took care of a multitude of things for me over the last couple weeks from fixing my AC to an entirely new transmission. Throughout the whole process they were the MOST professional shop I have ever dealt with. If you ever have any car repair needs, or just an oil change, go see these experts. We contacted Gearheads when we needed to have repairs done before leaving for a trip. They went above and beyond standard customer service to get our vehicle worked on quickly and ready to go when we needed it. They discovered that what we had been told needed to be repaired ( by another place) was actually incorrect. We were very pleased with both the repair price and the work they completed. We will definitely be returning to Gearheads to have them take care of any car repairs we need in the future. They have excellent certified repair technicians and wonderful customer service. Tried this place because I heard good things about them. They were booked about a week out for appointments but I was able to leave my car earlier and they had it fixed and back up and running days earlier than expected. They were about a third cheaper that what I estimated a dealer would charge. I am very pleased with their work and courteous service. I would recommend and would use them again.

Stellar combination of Master Mechanix specializing in BMW Volkswagen skyline's exotic able to take it apart and put it back together stronger , their team work and the efficiency of the teams is truly amazing, tow it in drive it away that day , and because of their efficiency their rates are the cheaper than their competitors. They're hands down the fastest up and coming automotive shop in the central ky area, with a reputation built apon hard work and knowledge, I could go on and on but their results speak for them selves..

Everyone was wonderful! From the phone call to schedule the appointment to the handshake as they handed me back the keys, I couldn't have been more impressed with their friendly and quick service, to their honest transparency with the problem and repair plan, to their follow up to make sure the problem was actually solved...I will recommend Gear heads to anyone! I needed the serpentine belts replaced on my BMW. Not only did I get great service but I got it fast. And at a great price. The guys were so friendly and kept me well informed every step of the way. My experience at Gearheads was great. I called them with what I thought the issue would be and they diagnosed it directly over the phone. I brought my vehicle in, they quickly gave me a price and time estimate and were spot on. I believe the guys I worked with were David and Joe and I was very impressed with their professionalism. Steven and his crew were absolutely amazing! Very professional and comfortable to speak with, he s honest and straightforward about his work and when he s able to get it done! Not only is he fast but he s EFFICIENT! If you were looking to take your car somewhere, you ve found the right crew! I literally won t take my car anywhere else ever again! Highly recommend Gearheads!!! This is the first auto repair business in which I felt comfortable and trustworthy of the work they wanted to do w my car and the very fair, reasonable prices they were charging for their services. I cannot recommend them enough, they are worth every penny even with a slight inconvenient 20 or so min drive knowing that my car was in the best hands possible. The shop was amazing at getting the problem solved both quickly and effectively. The cost was reasonable and I felt comfortable trusting them with my car. If you have a European car, don t go anywhere but here. Great people and a quality job!

I had called a few other shops who had quoted much higher prices for my windshield wiper transmission linkage as an estimate because they didn t want to take the time to look up. These guys were able to give me a precise (and less expensive) quote quickly based on my VIN and had record turnaround time on the repair. Also very polite and professional. I could not be more happy with my service at Gearheads! They have worked on two of my vehicles, both times were able to diagnose and fix the problems in a timely manner , while at the same time flexible enough to work around my schedule. The communication about the problem, parts, and timeline to fix was clear and spot on leaving me confident that the issues with the vehicles were resolved appropriately. This shop was recommended to me for some regular maintenance work I needed done. I am a cis gendered female so per usual, I was hesitant to call and handle the work myself as I am often taken advantage of in car maintenance / repair situations. I never felt that was with Steven! My Corolla is well loved with 123k miles on it and needed a radiator and transmission drain/flush/fill as well as my front speakers cut off randomly a few months ago so I needed help figuring out what was going on. Steven was very responsive, attentive to detail, and had GREAT communication all throughout the process. I ended up needing some electrical work done for my speakers and he made the effort to give me options to choose from. Do not recommend for A/C service. My compressor was bad, but not making any noise. I've had the car 10 years so I know how the engine sounds. Replaced my compressor twice and after each time it makes a grinding noise when on, but not all the time. Either bad parts or bad installation method. I tried to show the owner when I brought the car back for warranty work, but he was not there and the person taking my keys had no interest in listening to it. I later sent a video and audio files of the noise that I took while in their parking lot dropping it off the second time. Video clearly showed the noise there and went away when I turned off the a/c but they said they could not hear it.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I came here to get a second opinion on a big repair another auto shop told me I needed. Steven was so helpful and honest in explaining his quote! After looking at the car, he quickly realized that my car likely didn't need the big repair, and it was actually another smaller issue causing the problem. He saved me time and money, and my car has been running great ever since. We will be back for all future repairs and car needs!Service: Engine repair

Fantastic experience. Had my truck towed to the shop around 12:00 and they had the problem diagnosed AND fixed by the end of the day. A complete clutch and slave cylinder replacement.I was very impressed and will be using them again in the future.Service: Transmission
