Al was able to get me in quickly when my car started having transmission issues. He had the issue diagnosed quickly and I was able to make the decision to sell my car instead of proceeding with a costly repair. Al knew my situation and even gave me the number of a guy who rebuilds transmissions to help me save some money. Great service.

Out of alllllll the auto shops I have been to over the years this was the most honest helpful and fair pricing body shop I have been to and I will never go anywhere else again!!!! Thank you all so much for everything

I live several hours away from Al's, and was planning to test drive a pre-owned vehicle in the area. I was in a time pinch (needed next-day service) and was hoping someone could look over the vehicle. Without hesitation they found a way to schedule me in for the very next day and were extremely (can't emphasize this enough) friendly and professional. Unfortunately for me, the car had been sold once I arrived at the dealer, so I didn't get a chance to actually work with Al's, but I would absolutely use their services if back in the area again.

Al and his son AJ are knowledgeable and know their trade well. They are honest, dependable, and trustworthy. These traits are hard to find in car repair businesses.I live in Ohio and my daughter lives in Nicholasville, Ky. She is a single Mom and drives an older car. She has to get to work and in urgent times Al s Auto Repair has been there for her, when that old car has troubles. *Update: They never fail to go the extra mile. I had to get four new tires recently, and I'm glad I went to Al's. He gave me the best price in town on new (or used for that matter) tires and worked me in on a moment's notice.Al's is locally owned and operated. The staff is all family and they treat customers as if they are as well. The garage is always packed, but the owner or one of his sons always stops to greet you and give you all the time you need to discuss your car problem. If you love shopping local like I do, you'll be thankful you trusted your vehicle with Al's.

Up until this past December/January I would have rated Al s between 4 and 5 stars, but now I am a little skeptical. I took my pickup truck in to have it s tailgate handle replaced. They charged me around $160 for the handle and around $80-$90 for labor. In addition there was a $10-$15 shop supplies charge. I did some research after the fact and found out that the part they put on my truck costs around $70-$80 and the price they charged me was for a chrome handle with backup camera.Ever since then, I haven t been able to shake the feeling that either Al s or their parts supplier was trying to make some extra money marking up the cost of parts and charging for shop supplies when a screwdriver is all that was needed to install the handle.Before this experience the service I received from Al s was fast and prices were reasonable. All of the employees are friendly and the quality of repairs is reasonably good.I will probably give them another chance, but I will pay a little more attention to the details after my latest experience.

I called them at 8 to see if they could have a look at my car for the brakes and rotors. I talked to AJ, and he was honest and very nice when he quoted me rotors and pads all the way around. It was so much cheaper than anywhere else. They got my car in within the hour and we so nice and courteous. This seems to be a very tight knit, caring family owned business that genuinely has its customers satisfaction at heart. I actually trust their judgement and work. I will say the only thing I didn't like was that the debit card machine charges 3% of the cost and that wasn't exactly disclosed to me beforehand. Even so , I ended up paying 50$ less than the 2nd cheapest place in a 30 Mile radius, so I wasn't that upset. I will be going back. I will take every vehicle I have there. But I will take cash with me just to avoid the 3% charge because of a card. Very satisfied. Very happy to have it done. Great family business.

Aj done amazing work. He did not stop until he figured out what was wrong. I would recommend Al's for all your car repair needs. We definitely will be returning.

These guys Al and AJ are awesome.They were able the locate problem with my car right away.Being from out of town they were able to work me in and back on the road .They came highly recommenedAnd I would agree.They know what they are doing.TIP: if answering machine comes on leave a message.Call back if you haven't heard back in 15 min.

Parking is a little crazy, but they fixed my alternator within 2 hours at a less then other places fee. Family orientated, very understandable and patient! Highly recommend!

I am very very pleased with the work they did to my car. Very informative and very kind staff, also. They called a couple of times to let me know what the car needed and what was required. I thought the price was worth the work. I will definitely be going back to this shop!

Al's is the best in town. They are good people, it's a family business, and they do great work without any attempt to gouge you. Also, if they can't do it, they know great people and their specialties.

Poor service and they won't stand behind their work!... although Al is a nice guy, I had to give them $260 and I didn't even make it out of town & my car broke down the same day I picked it up. So I ended up on the side of the road 4 hrs. Working on it myself. Gee thanks Al 's auto repair.

Al and his family own this place, great people reasonable prices. I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of they always explain things well and it gets fixed. Thanks for being a local business we can rely on.

Al is a good mechanic, fair, honest and knowledgeable. If you are on a budget and are worried about being pressured into purchasing unnecessary repairs come to Al's. They are almost always busy so expect a wait. If possible call ahead for an appointment.

Amazing people! I am not from here and didn't know where to go to have my car looked at. I was stalling every time I stopped. They got me right in and fix it in the same day! I will only go here for now on.

Took my car there 2 weeks ago for an electrical problem, was told no problem was found. My car died and had to be jumped 3 days later. Took it back to Al's to be told, oh well your battery is bad and they replaced it. 1 week later my car battery is dead again. I took it to another place to find out it was the altenator, but Al's told me a week ago the altenator was fine! I will not be going back here. I am no mechanic, but I would think this was an easy fix, battery/altenator just my opinion.

This shop is very reasonably priced, work is top notch, and the employees are friendly , they won't recommend something that's not needed. I've had work done several times and have always been pleased with the work.

Broke my shifter took in to get repaired. when I got car back windows had been left down and rain had flooded the interior. Picked car up windows were down with horrible smell, only to realize what had happened when I got home. broke all my console plastic pieces and cigarette lighter area replacing shifter. stay away never been done dirtier by a mechanic than this place. My car was in worse shape when I got it back than when I took it in. Shady bunch

Brought my vehicle in the morning. It was near closing before it was looked at. I left my phone number and was told I would get a call within an hour. It was over 4 before I decided to call. Should have called sooner. It took them less than 20 to tell me to fix my car would take almost $700!!! Go there for minor things, just not anything bigger than an alternator. Too pricy!
