I bought nice car from Dennis/Denny , I've had virtually no problems with it or them as long as I get there on time. Can someone introduce them to payments over phone. I think they like to see their customers!

I was very pleased with the friendliness of the staff! Within an hour, I had a car and temp tags! They take care of everything here! I highly recommend going here to get a nice car with affordable payment plans!

Ive bought 3 cars from them and had great experiences with them all. I couldn't go to an actual dealership because my credit wasnt the best, and just started my job. But Carthage worked with me and help me find a vehicle that worked in my budget. They let me decide if I wanted to pay weekly, bi-weekly or monthly which I liked. The payments were super affordable, and you're dealing with real life people so they understand when life happens. Couldn't recommend this place more!

Dennis truely cares what kind of cars he sells to people. I have bought 2 vehicles and both great. My first one was 5 years ago and it's still going great. Bought the 2nd for my son and no issues. As far as parents he works with you! Communication is all he ask if your going to be late with payment. He understand life happens. Great guy, great company! For people that have posted bad reviews because he had to come take the car back..... WELL THEY MUST NOT HAVE PAID THEIR CAR NOTE! OR COMMUNICATED! I highly recommend Carthage!!!

I absolutely love Carthage Auto Sales. Dennis and Denny are wonderful, caring folks. I have purchased 2 vehicles from Dennis and have loved them both! I had no issues with either. You can go to any other used car lot and get nowhere close to the respect and compassion as you will get here. I bought a vehicle from DriveTime prior to coming here. It was insanely expensive and they don't care about their customers. I highly recommend if you are looking for a used vehicle, check out Carthage Auto Sales!

This place is awesome! Dennis and Denny are great guys and very helpful. I went to them in desperate need of a car. They took my old car as part of my down payment and was able to work with my budget!. Covid hit just days after getting my car and they have been great about working with me on my payments. If I had any issue making my payment on time, I called and explaned my situation and told them when I could bring in my payment. Never once did they give me a hard time and I always made sure I kept my word. My car will be paid off in 2 weeks and couldn't be happier. I will definitely go here again if and when I need a car! I would recommend them to anyone needing a good used car! Thank you!

Absolutely love auto Carthage!!! I have been with them for years and have had two cars with them and I ve been very satisfied with them!!! They always check my oil and make sure everything is good with my cars when I come!!! Very outstanding staff :)

After reading the reviews, and hearing many word of mouth references, I decided to check out Carthage Auto. Dennis, the owner, is a kind, sweet, compassionate straight shooter. He didn t try to push for a higher valued car... let me pick freely. He knew the history of the car I was interested in, walked me through the purchasing procedure, and worked with me with my not so good credit, and reasonable payments. I am definitely a customer for life now and I would highly recommend Carthage if you re looking for a place that is honest and has integrity!

I was in dire straights when I visited here for a new-to-me car. They took my old death trap of a vehicle as a trade in, had good prices, decent selection, and a payment plan that worked with my budget. Dennis and Dennis are the nicest guys and won't steer you wrong! 10/10 would buy from again if I need to.

This is the only place I will buy my vehicles from, never had a problem with anything I've taken off the lot, and Dennis and Denny are great to work with.

WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!!! I purchased a car from Dennis last February. Then covid hit in March both my fiance and I took hits at our jobs. For a year we've had the car. We unexpectedly hit some EXTRA hard times and struggled to pay our bill. He came and picked up the car. He said he wouldn't give it back unless we paid the remaining 5500. We obviously couldn't do that. He was fully aware of what had been transpiring in my family. So we told him we just couldn't pay that much. It was a junk car anyways. The driver side door doesn't open, the wiring in the vehicle was all messed up, it made a loud noise from it being wrecked before I bought it and the part under the engine was hitting the tire. So he said we needed to pick up our stuff from the car. I went on Friday called ahead I was 4 minutes from pulling into the lot. and he said everyone went home for the day and he had no idea where my stuff was... (he owns the business and he doesn't know where to find my belongings?) So we left he said I needed to come back Saturday. After saying he was going to sit it all on the sidewalk in Newport! I said well I don't have a car and am sharing with family so I'll have to come on a day when I have a car. So today my mom was up that way and called to go get it. He was cussing g at her over the phone and said I THREW IT ALL AWAY!!!!!! MY BABIES CARSEAT, A BRAND NEW WAGON WE BOUGHT MY DAUGHTER, VERY IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS AND WE HAD JUST MOVED SO 50% OF OUR CLOTHES WERE IN THE TRUNK. THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!! to do that to someone is inhumane. When he knew the struggle. If you knew what's good for you dont go here.

I got hurt at work and wanted to double up my payment. This is something he let me do before. I called Dennis Ashford and he said it was okay. My phone got cut off so I walked to Carthage.He wouldn't take my payment because he repossessed my car while at the repair shop. He has a GPS on the cars he sells at all times. The cops were called because he took the car off the repair shop lot. Dennis Ashford told me in order to get the car back I would have to give him $3600 cash. I lost all the money I paid on the car.

Goes beyond help.No car dealership would be this allowing of late payments.And no dealership would fix cars that are SOLD as is.Carthage Auto Sales is like a public service!Anyone who has ever complained about this place has either cheated Carthage or was stopped from getting away with cheating them.

Had great experience there. Always treated good. If I had a problem they took care of it. Would recommend them to anyone who needs a good car

Have a van from this place and took it here to have starter fixed which they did. Afterwards they did 400 dollars extra work with out asking for our ok and then told my wife to pay 650 or she cannot pick it up. In KY this is called a deceptible act and is illegal. My advice is to stear clear of this business.

ACTUALLY EVERYONES OK UNTIL YOU STAND FOR WHAT IS CORRECT OR NOT A PUSH OVER. DO NOT TAKE YOU VEHICLE TO GET ANY CHECKS OR REPAIRS- 300. BILL THAT YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO PRODUCE - NEVER TOLD A PRICE FOR ANYTHING NOR DOES IT GO ON THE BILL YOU ALREADY PAY! ODD THERES NO OLD PART JUST A PRICE . NOT EVEN ON A RECEIPT DOES IT SAY WHAT WAS DONE. VERY ARGUMENATIVE PEOPLE. THEY PICK & CHOOSE AND IVE HAD NO LATE PAYMENTS OR ANYTHING OVER A YR. THINK ILL PAY IT OFF JUST SO THEY DNT AGGERVATE ANYMORE. REDICULOUS! WAY ABOVE A NORMAL CHARGE FOR AN HRS WORK
