Love this place when they take my call. I can't make an order if they don't answer the phone. I tried like a good half a day to get through. Therefore, a competitor got my business this time. It sounded as if they put the phone on the table then hung up a few times-if it was even ever answered.

I was traveling across country from Utah and had a trailer tire blow out. The owner of Melvin's tire was great to fit me in quickly to replace the tire, and he went above and beyond by helping me remove a broken hitch pin that was stuck in my hitch. He gave me a fair price on the tire (it was actually much cheaper than the next tire I had to replace elsewhere in Kentucky a week later) and he got me back on the road quickly. I highly recommend Melvin's tire for their fair prices, and great service.

A real shop run by a family man who wants to give back to his community by giving professional services and know how to keep prices low they how hard families struggle to get by I recommend this shop from time I done business there

Last week, my wife and I were on a road trip from Texas and spent the night in Murray, Kentucky. When leaving the hotel the next morning, I noticed I had a low pressure tire light. I checked the air pressure and one tire was 10 lbs. low. My wife did an Internet search and found Melvin s Tire Shop which was located only about 1 mile away plus the shop had a 4.9 rating. The shop was busy, but the technician said they would get to us in 15 minutes. They found a nail in the tire, plugged the tire and had us ready to get back on the road within � hour. Outstanding service and the best part the technician said no charge . Wow this gives you faith that there are still people and companies that are honest and kind. If they treat a total stranger like this, image the kind of service they would provide to a customer who lives in the area. I could not leave the shop without leaving some money on the counter. I would HIGHLY recommend Melvin s Tire Shop to anybody in the Murray area. I give them a 5.0 rating!

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Needed a boat trailer tire patched, ended up having to flip the rotation on the spare and use it instead for the 4 hour trip home. They got us fixed up and on the road very quickly! If I lived in the area I would do business here anytime I needed tires. Thanks so much. Nice end to a great vacation.

My daughter attends Murray State (4 hours from home) and her tire kept going low. She took it Melvin's and within 15 minutes, they found the nail, plugged the tire. She was safe again and back on the road! The service was superb and to top it all off, they didn't charge her. Thank you from this Momma's worried heart!! She was impressed with how nice and easy going the staff was and will be recommending Melvin's Tire to her college friends.Again, thank you for taking care of my child :)

Melvins is the best hands down. They had our tire done in 10 minutes and were extremely nice. This place is the best in town and no where near anyone can beat this place. Never have had a bad experience.

Took care of me quickly considering other work and customers. Needed a tire fixed due to a slow leak. When I need new tires, they will be at the top of the list.

Very fair and honest tire repair shop. We waited for an hour for a patch job. He said, no charge due to the long wait. We said thank you, and gave him and his staff a large meat lovers pizza! For free of charge, on us! Good man!

I'm giving these guys 5 stars! I had picked up a screw and one of my tires while I was in Murray So I googled tire shops Murray Kentucky They were close to where I was so I took a chance. They were busy when I hold in so like most tire shops I figured I would be there for ever. To my surprise I was in-and-out in about 20 minutes, and for extremely reasonable price.I plan on putting a new set of tires on my Dodge caravan this fall so I inquired about a set of 80,000 mile all season tire. What they came up with was a brand I had been looking at on line , and was cheaper then anyone else, and with " free" rotation and balancing for the life of the tire.Really liked these guys. They are down to earth with no "B.S." this is where I'll be getting my new tires this fall !

Great people to deal with. They went above and beyond to get tires for me and helped me when nobody else would. Very reasonable on prices too. Will do business with them again and I refer all my friends to them

I spoke with Garrett yesterday, and he said to stop by anytime today to look at my issue. I went by at 10am today, waited inside for 5 minutes, and was told that Garrett would have to help me. Garrett was outside talking with a guy, and ignored his coworker and I for about 5 minutes while he shot the breeze. Finally, his coworker gets his attention and tells him that he needs to speak to me. Garrett never even looked at me, and continued to chitchat with this other guy. After another 5 minutes of listening to their stories, I decided to leave. This was my first experience with them, but I won't do business with anyone who cares so little about customer service.

Great service great prices great people. Everything you could ask for in a business. Won't go anywhere else. There parking lot is always full but that just tells you there worth the wait.

My tire had a slow leak and I drove up there just minutes before they closed for the weekend and they fixed it up right there in the parking lot. I can t thank you enough! Will recommend this place to everyone.

They work hard to satisfy their customers. We have never noticed them just "play" at working. Call ahead and be sure they have your tires, if they do not they can usually get them by the next day.
