This is the second time I brought my car here & same as last time the staff was very friendly & they are good about communicating with you when they have your vehicle.I hate to leave a bad review, however the amount that they quoted me was MUCH more than I had anticipated (same as the last time) and I am afraid that they were trying to overcharge me.I ended up not having them do any work this time, but still had to pay them almost $300 for just looking at my car. I understand that there are diagnostic costs, but this is just excessive.I picked my car up 2 days ago and today I found that they left this cover piece for my engine in the back seat of my car. For the amount that I paid, I am disappointed in the lack of care.

While traveling through Paducah KY, my car had mechanical issues. It was Good Friday, Easter weekend, and these wonderfully kind people at Harlan did a diagnostic and got me back on the road in a few hours. I made it to my destination (9 hours away) without any more issues. They came highly recommended, and I understand why. They were outstanding in service, understanding, and quality .

Got an alignment, tire balance, tires rotated, and small tire hole repaired. Made my ride smoother but my wheels were scratched and chipped in multiple places. My steering wheel and driver s seat was left dirty, as well as smudges/hand prints on my hood and front bumper. I hope there was a higher level of care for my drivetrain than there was for cleanliness and respect for my vehicle. I m very disappointed in the quality of service I received.Services: Tires, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment

Went in for basic tire repairs. They were quick and efficient. My tires look good and my alignment is TRUE. Angela, in the office, was very polite and well informed. I ve used them personally a lot and as I ve said before; I can take my money anywhere in Murray so i choose here.

I went to Harlan to get a new fob programmed for my daughter's car. They offered the lowest price and convenient appointment times. The work was done quickly and the fobs worked perfectly. I would highly recommend them.

Angela was super nice and professional. They replaced an auxiliary battery and changed my oil. Efficient and great service! Received my vehicle back in better condition than I dropped it off.

Locksmith services were awesome. Had keys stolen, they contacted manufacturer, cut new keys, and took them to my stranded vehicle to make sure they worked. Other mobile locksmiths in the area wouldn't even answer the phone, and the price was less than than I paid for a mobile unlock for my college kid.

Our daughter is a student at Murray State and her car overheated. We had been battling this for months. We decided to try and find someone in Murray instead of trying to get it home. We searched the Facebook group and decided to go with Harlan s in Murray. They said to drop it off that day and within a half hour had diagnosed the problem and sent an estimate. The next day they had the car repaired and we picked it up. They handled everything via text and sent pictures of the car along with the estimate. I recommend Harlan s to anyone that needs affordable and fast service. Thank you Harlan s for the great service.

Angela was very helpful at presenting my options for repair work and pricing. The mechanic worked quickly, and tirelessly, at removing my wheel bearings and replacing them. Everyone was courteous and friendly, and I will definitely be returning for any other car repairs.

Mr. Harlan was able to get my daughters car in for a diagnosis very last minute. It was having intermittent starting issues. Angela was so nice and explained everything to me from their process of checking the car in, text notifications and the results of the diagnosis. I was super impressed with this shop and how they kept me informed and we will definitely be back if we have any car maintenance needs. My daughter is a Murray student and we live 4 1/2 hours away, so it is nice knowing we now have a reliable shop available for any car needs. Their customer service is top notch! Thanks again!

I hit an animal while visiting family for the Holidays, it caused a couple warning lights to come up on my dash. Harlan's worked me in the day before Thanksgiving to make sure it would be safe to drive back home! They were polite and very helpful. They didn't try to rip me off because I was in a bind either. Wish I had a shop I could trust back home like them!

My experience with Harlan was not only excellent! It was informative as well. My vehicle had a number of issues I was unaware of, with their diagscan and the owners vast years of knowledge, I was given recommendations on all repairs to best suit my budget. When I selected those repairs they immediately ordered the parts and installed the same day. I received a text the next day to pick-up my vehicle. WOW! talk about ASE certified technicians. These guys don't play around. I'm recommending Halarn Automotive to any and every one out there. They serve people first then their vehicle. Gotta love that!

My filling is mixed about this service, people are friendly, polite and knowledgeable, answering every question you may have, hopefully they do what they say. I went for oil change and made mistake not asking for the price but that one is really on me, i just assumed that they are in range of every other shops in the country not 50% higher price ! Again I should ask before scheduling appointment, but didn't expect that simple oil change with several (visually) checking points will be $121 ! oil filter is priced $15, oil $66 and I guess labor $19, so it is very pricey in my opinion- again my fault that didn't ask for price, vould include at least tire rotation so price would be to spme point justified. Other than that everything was fine.

Great customer relations. Kept me updated thru the whole process of getting my vehicle repaired. Cleared everything with my aftermarket warranty company, so I knew exactly what my out of pocket cost would be. Will definitely use them for all future repairs. New tires at a good price with nice customer service.**Edited to add(12/15/23): I had requested a valve stem be replaced while the car was in the shop. They did not. I had to make an appointment yesterday,to return today to have them do it. Thankfully, at no cost to me, but gas and time aren't free. I didn't even receive an apology when it was all said and done. Won't be returning.

We were needing a diagnosis done on a vehicle we had just purchased...employees were very professional and polite...the report itself did not take long at all to obtain and was it worth it!? It was the BEST diagnostic report we had ever seen! We will definitely be a repeat customer!

It was a great experience start-to-finish. Overnight drop-off was easy, they kept me apprised all the way through the diagnostic process, and I was able to pay virtually, making picking up the car after hours easy and convenient. I have been to numerous places in Mayfield and Murray even dealerships and have been ripped off, lied to, and overcharged like you wouldn't know. When I went to Harlan Automotive I thought that the same thing would happen there. I am so happy to say that I was very very wrong. This is a awesome repair shop. Not only are they very honest, they take pictures to show the problems that they find and they show them to you. I have in my 58 years of living never had this experience. I trust them very much. I thank God that he lead me to this repair shop. They are very professional and so nice. Thank you Harlan Automotive for such a great experience.

We were out of town when the clutch went out on our Suburu. Patrick was SUPER helpful in getting us in. When we explained how we were out of town and sorta stranded, they moved us to the front of the line and really seemed to make getting us back on the road a priority. Would not hesitate a second to use Harlan Automotive in the event of another vehicular malfunction.Service: Transmission repair
