Was very happy with our stay, rooms were clean and comfortable the property was well kept and pleasant. Very nice and clean indoor pool/hot tub area, felt like the hot tub temp could have been warmer but jet strength was great very relaxing. Excellent restaurant/caf on the same property tucked up right next to the rooms (had a menu waiting in the room). The manager was very helpful and accommodating. Casey at the front counter was wonderful, super pleasant, we had a lovely conversation. She had plenty of recommendations on things to do and see in the area. After staying there and driving by the other options to stay on the same strip, was obvious Golden Manor is the best choice by far!

This Hotel is a hidden Gem and has a special Southern Kentucky charm of hospitality. The Women that manage this property deserve 10 stars on their professional level accommodations. My hotel room had a touch of Victorian furniture with a newly modern living room. I felt comfortable and like I was at my own place back home. The rooms were VERY OBVIOUS CLEAN, None of that buggy stuff crawling around and very quiet. The restaurant was awesome. The food was amazing and the staff treated me like family. Please come and visit, For the money, it's very worth it.

5 stars for this hotel !!!!! My husband and I are travelling for his union work and we arrived late about 12:30 am, we got a king room, it was nice , clean and comfortable, the bed was soft and has those amazing pillows you just fall in. There's also a cafe that looked like it had some really good food but we didn't get to eat there because it was closed when we came in. They have the bigger style micro fridges and a microwave. Also and this is the thing I loved most, the lady at the desk told us we could be a late checkout because we arrived so late! Literally no one does that anymore! So we will definitely stay there again when in the area. The king room was 85$ after tax, they only take credit card which was the only down side because we wanted to just hold with a card and pay cash, but it was still a great place.

We came here passing through the area because the town is in a up and coming video game. With that said, the service here was amazing. The food was great and the bathrooms were very clean. It would be nice to come back sometime.Safety: The premises felt safe. No fishy activity or anything like that.Walkability: All walkways were clear. Nothing was in the way or anything.Food & drinks: All food and drinks tasted good and our party was satisfied.

A wonderful experience without the Hampton Inn prices. We paid $92 for a Wednesday night. The rooms were very clean and HUGE. Very large rooms. The usual fridge and microwave. The bathroom was very clean. The water pressure in the shower could've been better but the cleanliness and comfort more than made up for it.There is an indoor pool and hot tub and even a bar and restaurant on the premises. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Can not say anything negative about my stay here. Even the parking spaces are extra wide so you don't ding your neighbors car while unloading.Pleasantly surprised and will highly recommend.

Wow! Wow! Wow! So fresh and clean. Soft and beautiful crystal lighting. Beautifully painted and decorated. Warm and welcoming when you enter the Golden Manor Inn. The check in experience was fast and easy. Parking is close to rooms. Plenty of parking. Quiet rooms. Excellent cable TV in each room. Larger Hotels do not offer as many channels. Pleasant surprise. The Lobby has a cozy seating and waiting area. There is an excellent restaurant on the property. Named The Back Street Cafe, with reasonable prices. The enclosed pool and hot tub are in excellent shape. Knotty Pine decor in the pool area. The jets are excellent in the hot tub. Our team and crew enjoyed the week here. It's an excellent and friendly place to visit! We will be back next year. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean.Rooms: Cozy and CleanSafety: I feel safe hereWalkability: Beautiful area to walk aroundFood & drinks: Excellent food. Coffee Maker in rooms

Golden Manor Inn and Suites is absolutely the BEST accommodation anyone could ask for. Being family owned, even the "non family" employees are treated, respected, and feel like they are PART of the business... (I actually asked them, as it seemed like they totally ENJOY their job)... Cassie, Bonnie, Lynn, and Debbie are among those on "the front line" (anchored at the frint desk), always greeting patrons with a brilliant SMILE. I come from Michigan, to just soak in the "ambiance" of waterfall fountains and scenic environment. (Took pics of the half frozen fountain. Beautiful !) THANK YOU, for continually providing a consistent pleasurable stay...!

I absolutely loved the time we spent at this hotel! It definitely a bit older but the retro vibe/ charm is hard to beat. The atmosphere is so relaxing with water fountain, wrought iron benches, and plants scattered around the property. The indoor pool house was fantastic with huge sliding windows, we spent hours in there. The whole place is beautiful to look at.We stayed in a double queen room with kids and it was very spacious. Clean beds, big beautiful windows.Fantastic prices as well

By far the worst place we have ever stayed! I do not recommend this place, even as a last resort. It stunk, the shower sprayed water all over the bathroom, the toilet seat was falling apart with paint pealing off the seat, and tiles along the bathroom floor and shower were barely hanging on. None of the plugs in the room would hold a phone charger in them (so loose they were falling out) and the only plug that worked was on a lamp, that turn off with the lamp. There wasn't enough parking in the motel area, and the walls are very thin; you could even hear the road noise from the street outside. The bed was super uncomfortable. They had smoking areas set up where you had to walk through through them if you didn't want to walk in the rain. We chose not to get service, so I can't say much about that.

As a construction worker this place is ideal, it's literally 10 minutes from the power plant I work at. Weekly rate is perfect at around 300 a week for a single. Service is friendly and prompt. Rooms are more than expected for the price and the policy of no cash or debit cards for nightly stays keeps out most of the riff raff and the noise that comes with them.

Well priced clean comfy rooms and very nice pools and hot tub. I slept great had no issues for an older establishment I was surprised with the amenities and quality of room. Would stay there again.

This place seemed nice on the outside and I was looking forward to my stay here. I am not sure how this location has such good ratings, maybe the "Suites" are nice, but the motel side is not. The proximity to base is probably the only reason this establishment stays open.As soon as I walked into the room, I was disappointed... it was small and run down. The floor was uneven and there were cracks in the walls. The bathroom area was tiny and there was barely enough room to sit on the toilet. The towels and complimentary items were sparse... the shampoo was in a plastic packet the size of a pack of ketchup. The coffee cups provided were open and appeared to be used. There was only one trash can, which did not have a liner. The pool and hot tub were more run down than the room. My husband builds pools as a profession, so I know what a pool should look like. The chlorine was so strong it burned my eyes and I couldn't wait to get back to the tiny bathtub to shower.I thought that I could live with all the negative aspects of this room, until I tried to sleep. The ground floor room sounded as if there was rain on the roof, even though there was a room above. There was a constant noise from the mini fridge and the heater all night. The worst was in the morning when traffic started to head to the base... it sounded like I was sleeping right on the highway. It started at 5 a.m. and did not stop. The staff are not hospitable and border on being rude. I was very unhappy with my room and was met with no empathy or offer of consolation, when I voiced my concerns. They would rather have me cancel the remainder of my reservation and refund the rest of my stay; which is exactly what I did.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The motel itself is older and in need of some updating. We spent the night listening to a tapping sound in the wall that likely was coming from the air conditioner in the room above ours, but I was so tired it didn't keep me from sleeping. The cafe in back of the motel has good food. Overall it was a pleasant place to stay. I would consider staying there again if the price was right.

Okay, I'm giving this hotel a 4 because our first room had ants. Ants in the bathroom, on the sink, and in the bed. We did get moved and it seemed as though it was only in that room. The second night we stayed here an argument broke out for almost an hour. I was embarrassed for these individuals. Other than that it was fine. We walked to the gas station and got drinks and there is even a cafe next door but I don't recommend them. Overall this place was not bad at all. Just make sure you do NOT get room 135 lol .There is an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor pool as well.

This is one of the cleanest, hotels for the price. Indoor pool and outdoor too. Considering I travel for a living, this was hard to achieve a great rating, but they did. Definitely recomended.

Room had a mold mildew smell pulled back bed sheets and they couldn t have been washed because it had hair on the sheets. The shower didn t have any water pressure so it took forever to take a shower. House keeping came beating down the door early the next day and we were still sleeping and they tried to come on in when we didn t answer the door. The pin door pool area didn t have anyone swimming and the hot tub the jets didn t work. My wife done this for our anniversary thought it was a quite quaint country place and it was but I wouldn t ever come back here if they gave us a free night stay!

The front desk staff was very hospitable and accommodating. When I had an issue with my room key, they were very quick to help, despite the odd hour of the request (11:30 pm). The accommodations were very spacious. A family of four in a two queen bedroom were not too cramped or uncomfortable. And did I mention the pools! The indoor and outdoor pools were both very nice, offering my family two place of play. I would certainly recommend this place for a stay.

Debbie (manager) at the front desk was very rude!!! She did not want me to stay there with my 11 yr old registered service dog. She really needs to read up on the laws!! I even showed her my dogs registration. She was so mad and rude she never let me know about the $5.00 breakfast vouchers . The rest of the hotel staff was very pleasant!! You can hear the people in the next room and upstairs talking. Very thin walls. The indoor hot tub and pool is nice and clean. The rooms are also clean. The restaurant was very nice with good food and nice staff! So as long as you do not have to deal with the very very nasty manager it's not bad for the area.

Room was not worth the $100! There were hairs on the towels, the bedding was stained, there was a silverfish bug on the wall, and the room itself was very run down with broken sockets, scuffed walls and much more. The lady at the front desk refused to give us our military discount, saying it was because we were already getting the cheapest rate on the room (@ $95 ), and then this is the room they gave us!!! Worst stay ever and will never recommend or stay here again. I understand it's a older hotel and things are somewhat run down but when you are charging $100 or more, I expect clean towels and bedding and definitely NO BUGS!!!

Staff Is nice! However I didn't like the fact everytime I went to the front desk with a question or bath towels they questioned me like I didn't even stay there. You can tell the rooms are older for sure. Worst thing I can say Is bathroom is ridiculously small. You can't even sit on the toliet without the toliet paper roll being pressed right against your arm. They knew I had a baby with me and stuck us right on the edge of the hotel next to Dixie so needless to say we didn't sleep at all that night. And because I booked online (which I only did so there would for sure be a room available) they told me they wouldnt give me a military discount

I was coming from a several hour distance and i was worried that I would miss check in and my room would be given away.I had stayed at a motel 6 in the same city last year and it was a nightmare from Hades. This place was so different!!! How can i start? The staff was super friendly and helpful above and beyond the average line of duty. Our air conditioning unit was having issues in our original room, so we were transported swiftly to another room that ended up being more convienient. the location was nice and quiet and private. Rooms were clean and very spacious. I have a gluten allergy and had to bring tv dinners and the freezer and fridge space were great. The only thing I wished is that they they offered a free continental breakfast in the motel, but they had a cute diner next door and we brought plenty of food along anyway so the stay was great! Will be staying here next year again!

This is a nice upgraded motel near Fort Knox. It actually has a wonderful indoor pool and Jacuzzi for relaxing at the end of the day. It also has a nice restaurant attached for breakfast lunch and dinner but has limited hours. The rooms are worn. Our shower was missing its wall cover so we actually could see through to the back piping. There is quite a bit of rust showing through the ironwork all around (looks like they paint over it from time to time). However for the price and the very nice staff we would stay here again.

I love this place and have been staying here on and off for years. Indoor pool w/hot tub and outdoor pool with great restaurant on site unfortunately it opens too late (8:00 a.m.) for breakfast during the week. It's time for some renovations in the rooms also-carpet, paint, bathrooms, but it was clean. Comfortable bed, cold AC.
