My spouse went there to fix her car. She paid $500 for repairs, and when she came to pick up the car, she found out they didn't do half the repairs she was charged for. They fixed the visible issues like the window being stuck, but they didn't fix anything to do with the main issue, which is that the car wouldn't start. They claimed it was running just fine on the phone, but they clearly didn't even try to start it. My spouse had to go back in and ask them to do ALL the repairs she was charged for, and the mechanic who spoke to her had the nerve to ask for $300 more, claiming he discovered another issue. This mechanic admitted that the employees were supposed to check for this issue before quoting the final price, and they didn't.Major Brands didn't offer to refund any of their services for this unacceptable performance. Matter of fact, the employees didn't even offer an APOLOGY, and those are free!Don't bother coming here. They just want to rush you out the door, and they don't care if your car is safe to drive. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

While traveling from WV to TN with my elderly mother with dementia I experienced a flat. Cave Run Motorsports at the next exit recommended Major Brands and aired up my tire to help me make it there. I had aired it up at the gas station off the exit but was loosing air fast. Major Brands staff took excellent care of us and the tire. They made me feel they cared about our situation and got us back on the road in a little over an hour. Thank you Major Brands and sales rep Michael Wood for being hospitable, and professional and providing excellent service!

Scheduling issues, poor commiunication and wasted time, will not come back when there are better options available for more competitive prices. Based on their availability they seem to be busy so good for them.

If there was a no star option I'd be tempted to hit it but there was ONE nice guy at Major Brands that brought me home after my car broke down and got towed to them. He deserves a raise. But other than that guy, the business itself is a complete mess.. Before I had my car towed there I called to see if they could fix it and they told me "yes if they couldn't get to it that night they'd get to it first thing in the morning." I called at 2 the next day.. nothing.. 4:30 "nope, still busy but they will get it in the morning" It sat there for 2.5 days and they couldn't even tell me what was wrong with it or how much it would cost. They just kept telling me they got busy. I have no idea why they'd take more cars than they are able to fix. They need some sort of organization! People need their cars back! I had to call in from work the first day and decided to walk and then take the bus at 4 am in the rain the next 2 days. Because had I not, I would of lost my job. People are relying on you guys to take care of them in a time of crisis and you guys dropped the ball on this one and are apparently notorious for it. Do better guys.. You need a system that works! In the end.. I had it towed to Jason Stevens on main and he had it fixed the very next day and dropped it off to me at my house..Need I say more?

After a debacle with Tim short they got my vehicles issue deduced and fixed in just 2 days. Will return. Have been multiple times every time, I'm informed about a price and about the service before it happens. Sure, sometimes they forget to call you. However I cant blame them for being so busy when they do such good work and don't charge an arm and a leg. I would imagine everyone in the local area is trying to use them for any service they can.

I stopped here with a nail in my tire on a cross country trip, they were very busy but worked me in so I could safely continue my journey. I appreciate the team here, they were so nice and did great work. Thank you for getting me and my family back on the road quickly.

Do not go here. They backed my truck into someone else's car. Management handled it poorly. On top of that. They lodged a 12 inch light right beside my engine.

Half star, Poor customer service, bought brand new tires, have had to take it back several times because of losing air pressure, they replaced Val stems, later this last and 3rd time they said it Was rust around the rim that we need new rims. These people are all about trying to make more money for themselves. Beware.

I was driving home to Illinois this past Thursday, and my truck battery died. I was at a local gas station/liquor store and the store owner suggested calling this auto service to see if someone could help me. Jason, the assistant store manager, listened patiently while I told him what was going on, assessed from what I was saying that it was my battery, and then came to my rescue bringing a charger to charge my battery to get it started. I then drove to his shop, where he and his servicemen worked my vehicle into their schedule so I could get back on the road right away. Being in a place I was unfamiliar with, and it being just me, I really appreciated Jason making me feel at ease with what was going on with my vehicle, coming to help me, and getting me back on the road. Thank you all so much.

Terrible place, people don't know what they are doing. Charged me over $100 in "repairs" and didn't fix a single thing wrong with my vehicle. My gas gauge stopped working properly unbeknownst to me at the time; took it there and they did $120 in repairs that didn't fix it then finally charged me just to fill up the tank. They are professionals they should've checked the tank to make sure! After they called me to tell me the engine is running again I asked if the gas gauge was working properly and they said yes even though it's still not working properly! When I tried to voice my grievances I was giving inactive phone numbers and put on hold and forgotten about. STAY AWAY

We were in Morehead to visit some family when a tire sensor indicator showed low air in a tire. We stopped here and they visually checked the tire and recommended due to weather changes that we add some air and see if it leaked. The tire was fine and they didn't charge me. Honesty is my favorite trait.

Dropped car off for nail in tire. Came back 10 hrs later and they just brought car into service bay. Busy busy shop but they do great work

Had a brake line blow on my way to southern ky for a sxs ride. Called and they worked me in right away. Fixed and back on the road. Thank y all for all your help!!

Fast curtious professional great prices, could not have a car problem in a better place. VERY busy place, did not know me, I was just traveling through, but took my car in diagnosed it (correctly) and had it finished before I could eat my lunch. Congratulations Jason, David, Glenn and whole Crew for a well run place.

Came in to drop off a tire to be fix today. Ran over a piece of metal debris on our way back from a Florida trip. Thank goodness for great organizations like the State Farm sponsored Interstate van that gave us assistance on the road and for the above and beyond service the professionals at Major Brands gave. Not only did they fix the tire, they also replaced it on the vehicle! But without asking, they also returned the spare back underneath and button itall up like it never happened!! This business truly understands outstanding service!

This is a good place to go when troubleshooting the issues that might be happening with your car. As for the maintenance when concerning oil and tire care, it'd be best to find somewhere else. Though the quality is top notch, the wait times are a little too much. Sometimes they ranged into three hours on busy days. But then again, they're busy for a reason.

From my one visit passing through town, their staff was very friendly and helpful, and their price for a minor fix was very reasonable. The issue wasn't corrected the first time, but they were more than willing to fit me in immediately to fix their mistake. They seem very busy and their wait times do accurately reflect it, especially if you're a walk-in.

Awful service. Every time I have went here I have had problems. Recently I needed two new tires on my vehicle, they replaced my tires but damaged my tire pressure sensors in process. Had my car for over 2 days even though I was told it would be fixed the next morning. Do not recommend. If you drop off your vehicle, they say they will call when its ready and they never do, you have to call them to figure out when your vehicle is gonna be done. Have taken my vehicles there for other issues and had problems but figured I would give them another chance since tires are a big part of their business and they couldn't even do that right.

Poor customer service.They fixed one issue and it led to another...maybe not all their fault but because of the negative experience over the two days dealing with the folks at Major Brands Morehead we will be looking elsewhere next time.Apparently they had a rush and our vehicle kept getting pushed down the line...my wife was told Twice she would receive a call back within 15 minutes on the status of our car; Twice she did not receive a call and they may never have called back if she did not call back after one hour both times.I have seen their loaners and/or shuttles around town...neither of these services were offered to us by anyone at Major Brands.

My friend was driving 13 hours to come visit me and broke down halfway in Morehead. It was late afternoon, and the shop went above and beyond to diagnose the issue, repair, and get her back on the road that evening. So very thankful for them stepping up with great customer service and quick work!

Great services my car needed alternator and was still showing the engine light took a few investigations and they figured out the problem charged me fairly with parts and labor I would take me car there again

BEWARE! Honestly if I could leave half a star I would. They first told us 10 then 12, and now 3:30. They said they would give us a call back but if we hadn't called they never would have. This place has poor communication, and poor time management skills. Honestly regardless of price even if they fix what the problem was they will find something else to break and you will be the one affected.

In from out of town and had brake line bust.Coordinated with the wrecker for early the next morning and had it repaired by about 3:00. Only lost about 6 hrs. And all for under $130. Wow. Nuff said. Fantastic experience!!

Don't ever go here. I brought my car in here with a bad mass air flow sensor. It was shaking and stalling randomly. They charged me around $200 to put in a "new" one, then said to "keep a close eye on it". That should have been a red flag right there. Sure enough, 2 months later I end up with a broke down car again, and had to replace the MAF sensor again. My mechanic informed me that the one on my car was old. They charged me for a part that didnt even work. Not to mention, the faulty sensor almost caused me to be involved in a very dangerous accident. I wouldn't trust these people to do an oil change.

Paid $380 and my car still wasn't fixed. Response I got was to bring it back and have them continue to look at it. Ended up taking it to a different mechanic and found out they had charged me $200 for a $60 part. Don't waste your money.

We where there a few days ago in Morehead from out of town our transmission line blew out had to have it towed there thanks to Jerry's towing also. Jason at major brands took amazing care of us had us fixed and on the road in about an hour and a half .They could have price gouged us but treated us great got us fixed and on the road and thank you again you all are amazing

Nope. Stay away. Horrible customer service. They had me wait 3 hours and charged 20 bucks for them to LOOK at my brakes, no labor or parts.. just looking... No joke. Guy was very unprofessional and went off on me when I asked why I was being charged. Very unpleasant experience. Seriously, you're better off going somewhere else.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I got taken advantage of and they could never get their story straight about when my vehicle would be fixed. Treated me completely different when I had a guy with me vs. when I did not.
