I am surprised that this hotel meets the Hilton/Hampton standards for operation. The room we stayed in is in need of a thorough cleaning and the room and hallways are in need of an update. The floor in the room and the hallway creaked, sounded hollow underneath, and appeared to be spongy in high-traffic areas. The shower had visible mold growing inside, the filter under the air conditioner had visible dust, the cabinet around the refrigerator was scratched and scarred. The carpet in the room was stained and dust, lint, etc. was collected in every visible corner. The carpet in the elevator was pulling away from the walls, the luggage trolleys were very dirty, and the drain in the first floor ice machine was stopped up with quite a bit of standing water. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast area was tended to promptly and kept well-stocked. Coffee bar was clean and kept full.

The staff was nice. The rooms were decent. We were working out of town, so we were just there to sleep and shower. The pillows were comfortable, and the beds, on the other hand, were terrible. They were extremely hard, and I could feel the bed springs. The tub floor popped and cracked like I was going to fall through the floor every time I moved. The "free" wifi is terrible, and they tried to sell me an upgrade to high speed for an additional fee. For the price i expected better, we won't be back.

With my line of work I am forced to travel. When I was first checking in the man at the front desk was the first person I met. Dave introduced himself and was the most professional and kind person I have had met. He helped me through the process and was more than willing to answer any questions I had on dining options in Morehead, KY. Everything resturant wise is about 3 miles or less away from the hotel.The rooms are extremely clean and he even offered me cookies to take with me.If and when I come back, I'm definitely staying here again. Thank you Dave!

We had an amazing experience with them. Breakfast was great! Fresh every morning and had a variety of hot foods as well. Eggs, bacon,sausage, biscuits and gravy as well as cereal and bagels w all the toppings. Staff was excellent! We spoke w multiple staff members in the days we stayed here, customer service was fantastic! If your looking for a place to stay one night or multiple this is the place to stay! Best in the area, close to great restaurants and many stores. They offered fruit, snacks and coffee all hours! One of the cleanest and most accommodating hotels we've ever stayed. Beds were comfortable and the pool was crystal clear! Rooms were quiet and very well maintained. Don't waste your time booking on 3rd party sites, the rate through them was cheaper! We give them a 12 out of 10!

My mother and I were traveling through Kentucky from Michigan to head to North Carolina and stopped overnight. This was a very pleasant stay.Kegan Andrews the Manager made our stay even that much better. He was a very kind and considerate he catered to our every need.The room was clean. Breakfast was great. Hampton Inn And Suites in Morehead Kentucky shouls be proud of there Manager he definitely goes above and Beyond.Food & drinks: The breakfast was great.

The staffs were super nice. They also provided everything that we needed during the trip for our daughter's graduation ceremony. The fruit was unlimited & the coffee was bottomless. The location was super strategic & yet quiet. The room was super clean & comfortable. In addition, it was also within walking distance to a nice chinese restaurant. Totally great value for money.

Second year I have stayed here pool os always cool and o is the pool area and the elevator has broke both times.Food & drinks: Best breakfast at a hotel ever serves

Dog hair everywhere, HVAC unclean smelled like mold, who didn't recognize this. Wanted to switch rooms to WHAT another poorly managed room. Compensated for our stay, not the point. We are DONE with ALL HILTON brands (Hampton inn, Canopy, Doubletree, Embassy suites, Hilton garden, Home2, Homewood, Tru), they don't care anymore had stayed at all mentioned. Diamond members have no meaning. Have my compensated stay away to homeless man Rooms: Top floor dog hair, HVAC smelled of mold, ppl smoking in their rooms by the ice machine.

A little over a month ago, we stayed across the road in the Best Western because this place was booked so it was nice to have an upgrade. The room was clean, breakfast was nice, but when we checked in the night before there was a young couple sitting in the breakfast area. Thinking nothing of it even though they looked quite sleepy, I was surprised to see them there again in the morning. I then overheard another guest report this same thing to the front desk and they were assured it would be addressed. Ten minutes later when I left, they were still there now laying in the booth obviously hiding from the front desk. I reported this as well and was told, "They're gone." I respectfully disagreed and said I saw them too. They repeated, "No. They're gone." I let them know I had just walked by them so I knew they were there. All I got was a smug look. Not wanting to press it further I left it and departed a little disappointed more intentional efforts were not taken.

Excellent! I stayed for 4 days during our visit to Morehead for with my husband, and our mom, for our daughter graduation at Morehead State University in May, 2023. Our room is spacious, and we love the service and friendly staff in this hotel. We surely want to comeback. The view fron our room was also amazing. We love it.

If you just need somewhere to sleep than you will be fine but this hotel doesn t provide a Hilton experience. I checked in online and I was given my room key immediately. The staff was friendly but wasn t really inviting or offer additional levels of hospitality. I had to ask for my diamond member perks such as waters and the fresh baked cookies that were there. As I got to my room, the stench of smoke greeted me and I went back to the desk to change my room. Asking for a room change I felt a cold presence so when I got to my new room I noticed a light in the bathroom wasn t working but did not feel comfortable addressing it with the staff because they made me feel like a burden. The room although cleaned is very outdated. Black mold all over the bathroom, no digital key, and air conditioner does the bare minimum. I am so happy I only had to stay 1 night.

Clean rooms and stayed cool in the heat wave. Normal hampton inn stay, with friendly service. Breakfast was missing some of the typical health friendly options like turkey sausage/egg white omeltes/greek yogurt - still a decent spread without them. I wish they had an updated treadmill. The treadmill makes an absolute awful noise while in use.

The hotel was wonderful, as well as the staff. And the guy working at the desk went out of his way to help us out when our daughters wanted a snack (we didn't have change for the vending machines and it was late at night with no ATMs open). He even helped us make sure our daughter with food allergies had something safe for her. He was just an awesomely nice guy. We would definitely stay here again if we stop in this area again on our next trip!

First of, it is a Hampton inn. You know what you are going to get for a room. The problem we ran into was that we booked adjoining rooms but the door on one side would only open half way, so when open obstructed the way to the bathroom.Service was great. I didn't catch his name but the guy managing the breakfast was the best I have seen. Very attentive, friendly and helpful. When something was missing (I think decaf) he apologized multiple times even after making right (the person was not upset at all and understanding). I would stay again if I find myself in the area

I originally wanted to leave a two star review however one of the staff members came to mind and he was just wonderful! He handles the breakfast and is so polite and wonderful to everyone that comes down for breakfast.However, I will not be staying here ever again. Our room smelled like mildew. Apparently the cleaning service is by request only and we were not aware since no one mentioned it when checking in and when we asked the front desk for more towels and a garbage bag for our garbage we felt like we were a nuisance. Other staff members seemed to have treated us differently then others as well. Anytime my mother would go outside to chat on her phone or for a cigarette she said it felt like one of the people at the desk would follow her outside to watch her. It made her very uncomfortable.There was an incident where we were accused of smoking pot in the room, which no one was considering I am pregnant and do not allow anyone to smoke near me period. After being confronted I even made sure to speak to the boys in the room to make sure they did not have it (considering it is legal in our hometown). Which was not in the room at all! After that we felt extremely uncomfortable and that all the staff was incredibly rude, and treated us noticeably different then the other guests. Even another guest staying at the same hotel seemed to have noticed and apologized to us in the elevator because she felt sorry on how we were being spoken to, as she has stayed here before and never had anything like that happen.It was extremely overpriced during our time there but it was the only hotel with availability. 800 dollars for 4 nights felt a bit extreme for the circumstances of our room. It also appears that I never received a deposit back either. But after how poorly we were treated I m not bothering to call.Again will not be returning to this Hampton ever again, and I love the Hamptons I have stayed at prior to this one with no issues. I was majority let down.

Staff here were phenomenal, and helped with some issues we had with the room. Very close to downtown Morehead. Rooms are outdated and some are in need of repair. Breakfast was OK, with standard fare.Nearby activities: Walking around the MSU campus was nice. Quiet downtown area, but not a lot to do with a baby.Walkability: Very easy to walk the area.

Quick stay! Rooms were large, bed soft and comfy. The bathroom very accommodating. Front desk staff extremely nice and professional as well as the young lady who prepared the breakfast area. She greeted us with a warm friendly smile and the food was fresh and hot. We didn't see any coffee offering and none was suggested to us. Overall a very good hotel, friendly staff, large clean and comfortable rooms.
