I cannot recommend this location enough. I just went for an oil change and was pleasantly surprised to find almost all women working there. As a woman myself in a male dominated industry, I was so happy to see us represented. Every single one of them were welcoming and In great spirits and laughing and joking and working their butts off at the same time. It was great! Thank you to Halie! You were so nice and explained everything to me. I appreciate all of you!

Valvoline Shop Location #: 1450, Chris, Manager saying "not my problem" is perceived to me as rude and disrespectful, because it came across as dismissive or uncaring, especially when she could have offered help or support to the issues that I brought to her attention as a loyal customer.This issue could have been avoided had the job been done right the first time and when I have to make several trips out to the location and be spoken to in a way that is rude and disrespectful makes matters much worse. The goal should be to de-escalate the situation, not escalate. Gas is not cheap and my time is not to be wasted.Trying to take the responsibility of what happened off of the shop who conducted the work and directing the attention on me is not the right mindset to have when I entrusted my vehicle into their care and paid them for the work.I have enclosed the attached documents to support what I am about to express concerning this matter. Even though I have taken every avenue imaginable to have this matter resolved, I have ended up empty handed. The matter is being swept under the rug and everyone from the supervisor in charge up to the owner of the company just continue to lie to me. I mean, it s one thing to tell someone that you will do something, but it s a totally different thing to do what you tell someone that you will do. People these days have lost sight of saying what you mean and mean what you say. I hope to God no one like me is treated indifferently just because of the color of my skin. I m not a white man so there s no help for someone like me. I get treated in such the way that I am by the same company that I have poured so much money into.

This was the quickest and friendliest Valvoline I ve ever been to! Service staff was very kind and got me in and out quickly. Ivy was especially helpful. Will be returning to this location in the future!

The staff at the highlands Valvoline location went above and beyond! First my hood wouldn't open, then they had to call to get an oil filter delivered, then I had an issue with my payment. They were patient and kind through the whole ordeal. I don't know anything about cars, it's all foreign, so them taking a little extra time out of their work day to make sure all my needs were met, was truly appreciated. Would definitely recommend this location to a friend!

Everyone is efficient and helpful! I went in after losing my voice and Jessica was patient while I wrote everything on a notepad. They all had a good sense of humor about it.I couldn't thank them properly, so I guess this is my way of thanking them.

Hands down some of the best customer service I've ever received. The crew was energetic and helpful and got everything I needed done quickly. Ivy especially was helpful and gave me alot of helpful tips whenever it came to car maintenance and was fun to talk with! 10/10 will probably come back here for my next oil change!

I used Valvoline last week for my VW Tiguan. They get complete marks for changing my oil, and 0 start for everything else.Here's what they did well: Changed my oilHere's what they failed at: Offered a fuel system cleaning upcharge, then said they couldn't perform it Took my air filter out and showed me that it needed changing; didn't have any in stock Offered to rotate my tires; but actually the lift in my bay was broken and it would be 30min before I could switch to the other bay Offered me new windshield wipers; didn't have any in stock �When they finished up, my car wouldn't start and they had to jump it (not a battery issue; some sort of technician error)They also didn't reset the service status or oil change status on my car's computer (despite me calling ahead of time and asking if they did this; they said "yes"). This caused me to have to come back the next day and ask them to reset it. Two different technicians came out with their phones watching YouTube videos on how to reset my car computer. Both gave up (the second one snarkily said "well, I tried" and walked away defeated) and I drove home to figure it out myself.I get that many cars have many different settings, and it's hard to be an expert on all of them. But if you are selling "convenience" as your main business value, don't offer me things you can't do and leave me to figure them out myself ($200-something dollars later).

Never had anything but a great experience at this location. Today I was there to replace two taillights. As usual, service was very fast( they changed the lights while I was still in line), friendly and reasonably priced. The crew there is fantastic!

Every time I come Joe and his team do an excellent job. Always get great service at this location. They don t try to force more money out of me, just give me a reasonable idea of what I should expect to replace/repair next time and I always feel good taking their advice. They definitely aren t focused on getting money in the moment, but providing long term care for the vehicle. As a women it s intimidating getting car work, but I always feel great about the staff here.Service: Oil change

I have been waiting the better part of an hour in a long line for an oil change. One of the technicians came out to move cars forward because cars were backing up into the parking lot. The entrance to the bays is very tight and I had my car turned to go in once cars moved forward. This lady who came in behind myself and another person waiting inched into the turning space and pulled in to be next. I had motioned to her previously that I was next. After she pulled fully I front of me I went up to her car and let her know what happen. She said it was the choice of the valvoline employees that she was next because they had told her to get in that lane. I acknowledged they had moved cars forward but said I was next and my car was turned to drive into that bay. I thanked her for jumping in front of three people who had been waiting longer than her. Additionally this is the second valvoline I have come to with extremely long lines and once you are in line you are stuck with no way to leave if you want to. It has taken an hour and twenty minutes to get an oil change and the lady who cut in front of me left before two people who had come in before her.On top of everything else as I pulled out I realized they did not give me a receipt.* added note - I called the customer service line to give feedback about my experience. The person I spoke with was very kind and understanding. The person who responded to this review, the owner, seems to have cut and pasted a wrote response, not addressing the issue that customers who came in behind myself and others were directed to get in front of us. My point of saying their were long lines at both locations was to emphasize why someone cutting would not feel good. The owner also directed me how to use coupons, not an issue or concern I had, and had he looked at my invoice would have seen I used a coupon. This owner seemed to have responded because as a franchise owner he is supposed to but his response is very poor and clearly shows he doesn t care about the customer and has poor customer service skills. This is not my usual location to get oil changes and will for certain be my last at this location. I know that doesn t matter, as he has long lines anyway so clearly customer retention doesn t matter. But it should.

I went in for an oil change and they only had one bay open, something about a blown fuse. I got in the line to wait (for longer than I care to admit) because my car was making some noise and it had no oil in it. (Also hard to admit, but that s an issue for the Kia dealership) They were very communicative through the whole process and got everyone through as quickly as possible. I never felt like they tried to up sell me and they told me to go online and look for coupons which also gave me something to do while I waited.Service: Oil change

I am from Michigan and came here for an oil change, and Chris was amazing as well as the other worker, not sure of his name. Chris worked with me and I left with an awesome experience. I definitely would recommend, they will take care of you and very nice!

Great experience having our oil changed and tires rotated today. The staff were amazing! They were such a well-oiled team energetic and communicating with each other in a professional and upbeat manner. It was busy and they were focused and worked hard, but had fun as well. They seemed happy as they went about their jobs. At least that s what it looked like from an outsider s point-of-view. What really pleased us today were their interactions with customers. When staff makes you feel welcome, it just makes the entire experience feel like less of an errand and more like a neighborhood community which I love. A smile goes a long way. Special shout-outs to Dean and Hayley who were especially wonderful! But all the staff were rocking today! To me, that s the sign of great owners/managers.

Great for oil change and tire rotation if you don't have time to schedule it. They charge alot for service. Honestly would go to the dealership for anything else. But the service is great and fast.

Allowed me to sit in line for 2.5 hours to then tell me in the garage that they don't have the filters needed for my car. They took my name and number and called me when they got the filters in. The next day, sat in line for 1 hour behind a car they were having issues with while they cycled several cars behind me in and out of the second garage. Not the worst service but if you don't have extreme patience maybe try another location. This did completely jack up both of my days but I understand I am not the only person in the world who has had to wait for a necessary but annoying task to be done and it's very hot outside so I'm sure it's hard to work in. Regardless of the hassle I appreciate the work done and kindness of the staff.

I loved the service at this location. Haley the manager on duty had the shop rolling like a well oil machine. It was extremely hot outside and she made sure her staff was hydrated and customers well taken care. I will definitely be back at this location. Thanks Haley and Carl for the awesome service. Two thumbs up!!!

I had an AMAZING experience at this valvoline. In all honesty, I don t know a lot about cars and my nervousness and lack of knowledge when I go to get work done is a clear indicator of that. Other places take advantage of this and try to go out of their way to sell me extra services that are unnecessary. The team that worked on my car today did not do this. They offered me products without me feeling pressured, and gave me informed recommendations on when I SHOULD get said issues fixed. Having this attitude instead of trying to fear monger me and shove products onto me is a sure fire way to get customers to come back. I have also had instances where I have been talked down on for not being super knowledgeable about cars, and this was far from what I experienced today. The entire time I was there I was treated kindly and I felt comfortable. I will 100% be coming back to this location for my future oil changes. Service was fast, reasonably priced, and done right.According to my invoice, the team who worked on my vehicle were Ivy, Adrian, and Roman. Thank you all for doing such an amazing job. Sincerely, an uninformed 21 year old girl that s mechanic knowledge goes to the extent of filling my windshield wiper fluid (which they also topped off!). This place is absolutely terrible. The first time I went they did not bolt my engine splash shield up all the way, when I went back to address this the person that did my oil change said yeah I asked for help but no one came to help me so I left one bolt out . I had just spent a lot of money replacing nearly the whole bottom of my car so for them to leave that hanging and damage it more is ridiculous.I wanted to give them a second shot, but a few days later after getting my oil changed my car started to smell like it was burning. When I look under the hood, there s a puddle of oil under my engine. I checked my oil to see how low it is and the dip stick was clean. I m assuming they didn t screw the bolt in all the way so now I wasted money just for my oil to leak out.

Before I even entered today Haley came in and offered me a water and popsicle. I have never had any other store offer, it is very nice change of pace. Even though his location is slammed, everyone jumped in to help each other in make sure to get everybody in and out in A timely manner. I would highly recommend this location even though they are slammed on Friday right before the holidays they are attentive and giving their all. Valvoline please get them some better fans in here because it is hot in the bay and they deserve a comfortable working environment.

There were several car's waiting ahead of me to be serviced. The team got through the car's ahead of me in a timely manner. Ethan and Ivy were great. Especially Ethan who informed me of major repairs required due to not servicing or monitoring my vehicle's fluids.

Great, thorough service. I was so pleased with how they treated me, a visitor to Kentucky from Canada. They went above and beyond what I expected from an oil-change store. Highly recommended!
