Took my car in for diagnostic. They were very detailed with the diagnostic review. Spelled out in detail what the issues were, what they needed to do to fix them and upfront with the pricing. They kept me informed of the process the entire time the car was in their shop. Very easy to work with. I will continue to take all my cars there for service.

Ruby took care of me over the phone and we coordinated to have my car dropped off for a service. I needed a headlight replaced and had them look into replacing the battery. Even though I was open and willing to purchase a new battery, they suggested it still had some life after testing and didn t take the opportunity of having me make an unnecessary purchase. This added an element of trust.Additionally, they communicate well. Texted which is my preferred method of communication and the price was reasonable for the service provided.Lastly, when they discovered I walked down the street to pick up the vehicle, they offered to drop it off in the future.Based on my first experience, I will return for future needs.

Tune up & cracked radiator needed replacing on a 2010 Toyota Camry - this group did a fantastic job! They communicated everything that needed to be done (with pictures for verification) & quoted a firm price. They even gave me a ride back and forth! I found my new mechanics!

These guys are great. They are very knowledgeable, pleasant and do excellent work at fair prices. They help me keep my two Volvo V70s (an '06 and and '07) in really good shape. I paid 2500 cash for a list of things that needed repaired on my classic car only came there because of recommendation but service was horrible Mike stayed giving me the run around even the simplest thing like a door handle was repaired also order window handle instead of replacing all they just replace one. With that been said I had to then take my classic car somewhere else for them to fix the stuff that should have been fixed. These guys are great. They are frendly, not grumpy like many mechanics. They do great work, and they seem to take pride in their work.A good mechanic is like a good doctor. When you find them, you keep them.

Springdale Automotive in Middletown is a great place to take your vehicle for maintenance. They are reasonably priced and explain the work that was done and made recommendations for upcoming service. Monty and crew worked my vehicle into their busy schedules for maintenance. Thank you!!!

Hands down the best automotive shop in Louisville. No worries whether your vehicle is in good hands here. Springdale is incredibly transparent, detailed and honest. They give you thorough reports and estimates regarding the service needed after a full inspection. Mike is super friendly and helpful, and down to earth. He went above and beyond for us to ensure we'd have our vehicle ready for the weekend. You can rest assured you're not being taken advantage of and the work will be done right.If there is any issue that needs to be resolved, they stand by their warranty, which is 5 years 50k miles.Very pleased I chose Springdale and they will have all my business in the future.

The Springdale Automotive Service in Middletown is the BEST, regardless of the vehicle. I ve got everything from VW s, Toyota s and an older van and they can take them all! Mike Lesch, the Manager of the Middletown location, can always find a place for me in his service schedule and there is NO ONE I would trust with my VW Bug (diesel)! Professional and down to earth. Took a vehicle with transmission issues that would require a new transmission. Personally not worth the hassle so I decided to junk the vehicle. At no charge to me, they were very patient while I attempted to contact multiple junk yards until I successfully had a company arrive to tow the vehicle. Even though I didn t have any work done there, when I do need work on a vehicle, it will go to them. Thanks again guys for working with me and your grace definitely deserves praise.

This company is great. Locally owned, family owned and always makes me feel welcome. Some shops make me feel like a nuisance. but not springdale. They are quick to answer the phones and answer my questions in timely manners. They squeezed in an oil change same day for me as I try not to use instant oil change places. I had never been to Springdale before, so they informed me of their processes. They perform a free courtesy vehicle inspection with any service the vehicle is brought in for. They made sure my brakes and suspension and steering were safe. I was about to go out of town so this made me feel really confident in knowing my car is safe to take out of town on long distances. They let me know what maintenance is due based off my mileage too. They also offer a free courtesy shuttle service so you're not left sitting and waiting forever in the lobby! Mike and Airlys work up front and are very nice to talk to. I highly suggest bringing your car in here for service!Service: Auto engine tuning

I have a BMW with too many miles on it that needs a lot of work and Mike and his team at the Shelbyville Rd location go the extra mile to do great work while making it affordable. Great service and they love cars!

I called to make an appointment for my car because it was making a noise that sounded to me like my muffler. I was told that they could do a courtesy check to see what was wrong and to bring my car in Thursday morning at 8. I later called to see if I could bring in car on Wednesday afternoon and leave it. I was told they were busy and someone would get back to me on Thursday after my appointment. After I dropped off the car I returned home and then I was informed that there was nothing wrong with the muffler and I could pick up the car. I was told I was charged for a diagnostic test at $149.00 plus job supplies, sales tax and credit card processing fee for a total of $167.27. I was shocked because I was not told about these charges before hand. I felt that I had been taken advantage of. I would never go back there and would not recommend them to anyone.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Do not take your car here. Took mine in for A/C issue. They had it for over a week and when I went to get it, the A/C did not work on their lot. They had it for another two days, cost over $600, picked it up, and within a week the A/C stopped working again. Called and they said they couldn t do anything for 2 weeks. Clearly they didn t fix it and would not even try to work it in. Very poor.

This was my first visit to Springdale Automotive Centers. I have many friends that recommended them so I thought I would try them. Everyone there was awesome. Appointment was made quickly and I did not have to wait weeks. Everyone there was very friendly and accomodating. I was provided a shuttle ride and was picked up at the time I requested. Service was done quickly and accurately. I had coolant flush and power steering fluid flush and the car drives better, wished I had done it sooner. The guarantee I got using their recommended products was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. They treated me like family and the cost was below what the dealership would have charged.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

The service was good - my only compliant is that they won t take checks and are very reluctant to take debit or credit cards for larger invoices as they won t pay the service fees. I was told that I had to go to the bank and get a cashiers check or cash. They had the office staff member go with me to the bank and actually instructed her to drive my car - so I felt like a criminal. However she didn t feel comfortable driving my car so she road in the passenger s seat. It was very awkward. I got a cashiers check as I didn t feel like handling $5800 in cash and returned. When I arrived a gentleman was writing a check for his service. The staff member said I know this doesn t look good that he is writing a check but the reason why he can write a check is because the owner knows him and he has been a loyal customer. During the timeframe I had my car in the shop - it would have been nice to have a better understanding of their accepted payment options. The info is not listed on the price quote document. Again - service ok the vehicle was good - but a horrible experience at the end.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Auto brake replacement

Great service for my Mini Cooper Countryman; thorough on diagnostics and reporting. Was very transparent on what needs to be done immediately and what are recommended services as part of good maintenance. Gave back the vehicle on time and can feel the difference. I am certainly going to continue with Stein Automotive since Mini of Louisville is closed .I again had my servicing done in March 2021. Service was excellent; friendly advise and only necessary repairs and replacements.
