I was referred to this place over 6years ago & I have not went to anyone else since. Mr. Allen is the first one I call for anything automotive. Love his honesty & quality of the work they all do! Super down to earth people! Always explain so I know what's going on & prices reasonable/affordable. HANDS DOWN THE BEST!

Not only did I wait 2 weeks for my car back but my car was smelling like burnt rubber and my check engine light came on. Checked why and found out that the part I had fixed before these guys had melted sealant everywhere, I had to replace that and a hose that was missingwhich too was thesre before I took it these guys. I have always heard stories how some mechanics fix the issues but cause more issues but this is the first time this has actually happened to me. I will never spend my hard earned money on these people to help me. I came here because of the stars but maybe those people were treated better. I only take my car to Rockford. Allan and his guys are the best. Good honest mechanics are hard to find. I've trusted them with many vehicles and they've never let me down. I highly recommend this shop.

My car happened to break down right in front of their shop. It was a refix of a three-time failing bushing in my shifter. They helped me find the proper OEM part at a much lower price than my usual mechanic and were priced very reasonably. Great customer service, absolutely would recommend.

They took care of my husband's truck. First mechanic to diagnose it correctly. Less than $300. Considering another mechanic said he needed major valve work, which he said he didn't do, we felt very, very blessed.

I've started coming here, because Toyota of Louisville won't answer the phone or return my calls about service. Sometimes the prices are reasonable. However there have been times that I expect the vehicle to be ready and it may take another day. . . . Or two. . . I would personally prefer the guarantee of the dealership, because I know they won't go anywhere anytime soon. . . Covid is hurting businesses. I hope Rockford is still around if I need warranty or have service related issues. Later. . . I feel like another recession is coming. . . Just want to feel secure.

I had brought my volkswagon in there with an issue, they said they fixed it and they didn t. So I took it back and then it was something else, that happened 4 different times. They never fixed my car, they charged me for a oil change and didn t do it either, same with an alignment. They gave me my money back for the motor repair but not my oil change or my alignment. I ended up taking it to the VW dealership, when they serviced it they made me aware that they had broke a part on my car and didn t put my motor back together the right way. While I was going through this with them they were very rude to me. They had my car for weeks, and while my car was there they cracked my driver door. I will never recommend this place nor use them for any future services on my cars. I hate that the world has became this way, it s really sad how people treat people now. Another shop quoted me a crazy, outrageous amount (nearly $1200!) to replace my front rotors, pads and calipers. Rockford Lane worked me in on the late afternoon the Friday of a holiday weekend, gave me a loaner vehicle, and did the work for a completely reasonable amount. When I picked up my vehicle, the front desk folks said, "You really got lucky that we were able to work you in!" No, I didn't. What I got was great customer service. That's not luck -- that's this team going out of its way to serve a customer. They didn't have to do that -- they just found a way to make it happen. That's part of the culture of this garage. I was looking for a mechanic closer to my home, but I will gladly make the drive to Rockford Lane. Totally worth it. In addition to great customer service, the team there is professional, friendly and fun. These are people that work hard, and seem to love their jobs. The reception area is clean and welcoming and the decor is really cool.

These guys are fantastic. Sure, they're very busy so it usually takes a day or two, and they're closed on Sundays and close at 2PM on Saturdays, but other than that they are the best mechanics I've ever used. I will never be going back to the big corporate money-making machines like Firestone or Pep Boys. Rockford Lane charges a fair price for what you need done.

This place always takes care of their customers! And honest pricing when it comes to repairs. I will keep coming back! Just got some work done, and it was done the same day. Dealership said it would be more then double what it was here, and I didn't have to give up my car for several days.

Stay away from these people! They are crooks.Take your car to them, they remove parts without asking, they lie, steal from customers without you knowing.They have cars that sit outside for show to lure customers in. Once you get in there you will see a smiling face from the front desk, but that s only to get your trust. You bring your car in there for one problem you will be leaving with more problems than what you came for.In order for a car business to stay in business they have to have cars, right? If you bring your car in for a oil change, you will leave with your wheel messed up. They remove a part every time you bring your car, so you have to keep coming back.Save your money. Go to a dealership where they will at least do the work right.Stay away from here!!!

They were extremely busy but Still agreed to check my tire when I came in. I discovered a a nail in my tire at 5 and was supposed to be 15 miles away at a graduation for my granddaughter. They had a new tire on and I was out the door in 30 minutes or less. I would say that the amount of business coming in and out how awesome they are. I would recommend Rockford Automotive to anybody!

After trusting the wrong mechanic with my car I ended up having it towed to Rockford automotive they are very sympathetic to what I have been through and the money I have spent out basically for nothing at the other car automotive shop.This man is a stand-up guy and his wife is so very nice!

Great service and prices. I have used them a few times and every time they have been great to work with and there prices have been very reasonable. I used then for tires on both mine and my wife's car. After shopping prices they beat everyone else I checked out. Plus they have a pet cat in the shop so who doesn't like that...

First let me say I was referred by a friend to this auto mechanic shop... I never spoke with an actual mechanic, it's almost like they have counselors to speak to you with a smiling face, but that doesn't mean Jack if you just been ripped off for $1,200. I have a Ford 500 06, and thank God I've taken it to another mechanic, a fair one, this place is not honest, there is no Integrity that lies in this place...They initially charged me for replacing 3 motor mounts, but they said I actually needed five motor mounts replaced! ( the new mechanic has assured me there's almost no way that all five motor mounts could need to be replaced at the same time) but they had no problem telling me that... I also got the AC compressor fixed which was another $500. So I brought my car in with minor stalling on the expressway, as well as minor vibrations, I had never even seen the check engine light! The first day they gave me my car back it seem to be okay, the very next day the check engine light was on and off, it was not accelerating over 60 on the expressway, literally dangerous to myself and others, so I brought it in the next day, they told me they would stand by their work if it was something they did, but their conclusion was charging me another $550 because they said the motor mounts weren't anywhere near the plugs which is what I needed replaced now... but what they were doing was guess working, and Justin who works there but is not a mechanic, had the nerve to call my situation a fluke.. the first mechanic I spoke with after Rockford Lane Automotive, suggested I had been ripped off, and to put my car on a scanner.. so I actually got another mechanic in a small shop to tell me it was the throttle body sensor, not plugs or coils. The thing is when you "guess work", and refuse to fix the initial problem after someone gives you their whole savings, then you're the worst kind of person/place. In conclusion, do not take your car to this shop, you will regret it probably.. I'm guessing if it's something minor like breaks, yu MAY actually get your car fixed... please save yourself the heartache, I don't know if anything can be done but I will be contacting a lawyer today
