If you ever need your car taken care of these are great people and mechanics! I trust them implicity, which is hard to say when some places just care about your money! The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful! They have two great locations. One business in Jeffersonville and one down Frankfort Road. Thank you Chad for always fixing my cars!

Absolutely unprofessional, said car would 100% guarantee it would be ready by end of week, which it was not, then got a serious attitude when I called him out on it, Do not believe him unless he puts it in writing.

The guys at this shop are honest, knowledgeable and provide quick service! I pulled into their parking lot after receiving a very predatory quote from a chain auto shop down the street.They listened and replaced my alternator with a brand new one for a reasonable price and on the same day. I will be returning soon for routine maintenance. Riggs is my new automotive go to!

Highly recommend! I got a really cheap but really good quality used tire from these guys today..super nice folks! Really go above and beyond for their customers! I appreciate you fellas!

Although I got a pretty good deal on used tires, the office said that it came with balancing. With the shaking driving home, I discovered, apparently the shop is not aware of this policy. Who sells tires without balancing?! If not, then unsafe practices or unconcern for the customers. Tried calling back several times only to get a full voicemail. Balancing doesn't cost that much to the company. Too bad, they apparently do not want return customers.

Not an honest place to take your vehicle to. I was pricing to help a family in need of new tires. I priced a set near the families house but decided to post on Facebook if anyone would help. Chad Riggs reached out and said he would take take care of it. When I asked the price he said don t worry, I ve got you covered. When we went in for the appointment the tires weren t there and the owner was on vacation. The family had to drive 45 minutes for an appointment that was for nothing. They came back the next day. We got the tires on. I texted the owner back and asked the price. I had no answer so the office called and he told them the price. They knew the story of what we were doing. Chad Riggs told them the same price I had been quoted from the other company to start with. He took advantage of the situation to get the deal. His workers felt bad and apologized. At that point I also realized Chad had blocked me on all levels so that as soon as I realized what he had done I wouldn t be able to contact him directly. Shady business that takes advantage of people.

Chad, the owner was so helpful and so nice my entire experience. i truly couldn t have asked for better help when both of my tires went flat. i ll be coming here anytime i have any car issues. they are very trust worthy and amazing people. i d give more stars if i could:)

I have been working the last couple days to get my brakes fixed. Typically a family member doesMy repairs, but due to medical issues they were unable to work on them this time. Every where I went for an estimate or to schedule an appointment I felt as if I was being taken advantage of. Each time, calling the family member to get their opinion of the price etc. This place was super fast and the cost was more than half of what the other places were wanting to charge. I came in within 20 min of talkingTo them. Been sitting here watch them do the work. I haven't even drove my vehicle yet, but with every customer that walks in, I know I ll be satisfied. I never write reviews. But I felt like this will be the Exception to my rule. I ll def be back if the time comes again.

These guys are great!I stopped overnight in Louisville on my way from Chicago to Johnson City and noticed the next morning that one of my tires may have a screw lodged in it from the first leg of my drive. I hustled over to these guys and they fixed it up in no time while being polite and conversational, too.12/10 recommend them if you re looking for quality service from a friendly hometown garage!

Took a vehicle here to get brakes and rotors changed. Received a phone call 3 days later that the abs module was bad and needed to be replaced which was going to take the bill over $1700 which I approved. So I picked up the truck and paid the bill. When i drove the truck home all my lights were on check engine etc. So i called Chad and he told me take it to Collins Ford they would run diagnostic test on it for free. So thatswhat I do. Collins Ford lets me know that a used part was put on my truck which is why all the lights were on. He explained that you have to replace abs module with a new part or the lights will come on. So i got home check my bill from Riggs Auto and I was charged for a new part $470 and they put an $80 part on it. Well according to KY state law UDAP a mechanic can not put used part on your vehicle without your knowledge let alone do it and charge you for a new one. So i have called and called Ruggs Auto and for 9 days they will not return my call. So i go up there and have one of mechanic call Chad from his phone and chad answers and gives me the phone and soon as i stated my name Chad hung up on me. So the guy at Riggs calls him back and I explain the law to Chad and he states they will put a new part on my truck at no costs. That was over a week ago and havent heard from Chad yet. Law also states it needs to be done in reasonable amount of time which it isnt. Please dont take your vehicles here bc for mechanic to put a used part on your vehicle and charge for a new part is the most dishonest a mechanic could be. please beware when taking your vehicle here bc will leave with more problems than it had. Have already contacted the attorney general and filed a complaint. If i could give less than 1 star i would.

They are busy, but they fixed my flat immediately in less than 10 min. Seem like honest mechanics. Didn't try to sell me a tire, just fixed it and moved on. Would recommend

The guys at Riggs Tire and Auto Service were amazing. The owner saw me with a flat tire pulling into my daughter's daycare because it had just popped moments before. He pulled over and told me that he had a shop just around the corner and that I should bring my car there. After trying to put air into my tire and fix it on my own with no success, I had to have a tow truck tow my car less than a mile to his shop. Once I got there he informed me that he could have brought the tools needed to change my tire for me at the daycare where he had just seen me. They did not have my tire there so the owner himself left and picked up my tire brand new and brought it back to the shop to be put on my car. This was all done in less than an hour and I was also given a warranty for the tires he put on for a free patch for life. The price is also significantly cheaper than any other tire shop I have ever been at. All of the employees were so kind and I will always refer anyone I know to the shop from here on out. Thanks guys!

When Chad is not their he screws his customers by miscommunication between staff members I asked owner to call me for price and that I had a new number, it costs 75 for struts plus tax but he fixed them before contacting me not to mention he replaced my brake pads without asking first. All of a sudden i went from having a 75 dollar bill that should have been 25 to having a bill for 164.00 what a joke.

I took my vehicle here on 12/20/18 as a result of having a screw in my front right tire. As soon as I pulled onto the Riggs lot, someone came out of the garage area to assist. He identified the problem and had the tire off, repaired, and back on within less than 30 minutes and at a fair price. Thanks so much. You are on my list of businesses to recommend.

Chad took great care of my daughters care not once but twice. He knows what's he's talking about and he's prices are very competitive. Chads shop is 20 or so minutes from my house but worth the drive. He's my new mechanic and tire guy.

Stopped by real quick too see if they could help with an air leak in my tire. They found the source of the leak (nail ). Instead of patching me up and scheduling a tire change at a later date, they saved me a lot of time and went ahead and threw some new tires on there for me. Great local owned business with unreal customer service!

I called and asked before I even drove to this place. I pulled up got the tire out of my car and the guy says I don't have that tire. Are you serious I just called. I specified my tire size on the freaking phone. In this day and age drive time was wasted. Think about your customers. Wasted my time and gas.

Recently, I brought my car in to a Ken Towery's to have a "check engine" light issue looked at. They informed me that my car needed a new motor because of a faulty piston, new brakes and rotors, and calipers. My repair quote was upwards of $6,000! I decided to not get these repairs done, take my car home, and reassess the situation as I thought I was going to just need to buy a new car at that price point! I contacted a couple of my co-workers to see if they knew any other reputable repair shops in Louisville, so I could get a second opinion. I took my car into Rigg's Auto, and they looked everything over. The car indeed needed new brakes and rotors and calipers. The motor however, was perfectly fine with no issues at all. They did all necessary repairs for my vehicle for $2,600 out the door. I'm fully aware that car repairs are an expensive matter, and that on top of the prices for parts, the mechanics need to be paid for their labor as well. I fully anticipated paying a couple grand for repairs. Rigg's did a great job and were honest and upfront with the issues my car was having. I also love that their diagnostics are free to the customer, whereas other places like Ken Towery's charges well over $100 just to look at the vehicle.

Can't say enough good things. Every time I have a problem with my vehicle it's fixed right the first time. Prices are reasonable and service always fast and friendly. You won't be disappointed coming here!

Went to this new shop in J-town and they were quick to identify a problem with my Toyota Corolla and had it fixed in no time! Very knowledge and reasonable when it comes to cost. Highly recommend!

I was to have ignition coils put in, they put new spark plugs in without even calling me to tell me. They didn t communicate with me. I found myself calling them and felt if I was getting on their nerves. I was later informed that my engine was ticking, which it was not doing when I took it there. Other than brakes and tires, don t take your vehicle to this place. Big mistake on my end
