Republic Diesel Inc manufactured for me a custom type rear drive shaft for my 87 Suzuki Samurai, which had a lift kit when I purchased it about six years ago. The part is superb, and the vehicle drives better than it has since I owned it. The price was very reasonable. Furthermore, the staff are courteous as well as competent, and the business property is clean and professional. I intend to use their services again next year to have the front drive shaft replaced as well, and look forward to doing business with this company again.

I recently had a custom driveshaft for my 1974 Plymouth Duster fabricated by republic Diesel. Trevor Holt (Foreman, Driveshaft Dept.) was extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable about every facet of this job. The workmanship of the new shaft welds, paint coating & U-bolt installation were excellent. I have installed this driveshaft in my car and am VERY satisfied with its overall fit and performance. I''ll return to Republic Diesel for all my future driveshaft needs and will recommend them to others in the local car club in Bardstown. THX-Scott Mattingly

We recently ordered a custom driveshaft from Republic Diesel, they were very helpful about the information they needed to make it. We received it in 4 working days. It fits and looks great, thank you Trevor for everything, you did to make our driveshaft.

I've had probably 8 driveshafts done here. Trevor always takes the time to get every detail correct on the work needing done and gives me an accurate completion time. Price when picked up is always exactly what was quoted over the phone. The shafts are always spot on perfect, no balance or fitment issues ever. Thanks Guys!

I've run Republic Diesel driveshafts for years in all my off-road vehicles. They have always stood the test of time and got me home. I've also had them complete some specialized machining on quite a few different pieces over the years. Top notch quality with impeccable service. I can't recommend them enough.

I had a very long 2 piece driveshaft for my truck that no other shop could seem to balance properly. Republic had the equipment & knowledge to get it running smooth again. Always at an affordable cost & timely manner. The first and only place I call for my driveline needs.

I had Republic Diesel build two driveshafts for my Jeep and I can t say enough about the quality of the products they produce. These were custom shafts that run true and hold up to the stresses of what I put them through. If you are looking for custom shafts that will hold up over time I would 100% recommend Republic Diesel to anyone!

Great service, dropped off 2 driveshafts to be shorted, one was a 2 piece drive shaft (steel) and the other was a one piece (aluminum). Both worked perfectly. And got them back sooner then expected.

Dropped off a drive shaft on 6/2/21 and spoke with Trevor, he informed me that it would be a week till it's ready. Called one week later and left Trevor a voicemail. Next day I called again and got his voicemail. Waited another day called back and spoke to Don who said he would check on it for me and call me back. Needless to say but Don didn't call back either. I called again the next day and Don informed me that I dropped it off 6/7/21, when I told him that I dropped it off a week before he argued that i didn't. Called again on 6/11/21 and spoke with Trevor on the phone and he informed me that they haven't touched it yet. After that I went to the shop and picked up my driveshaft. Basically I wasted over a week of time waiting for service only to get the run around from 2 employees who could care less what they tell their clients.

The guys at Republic Diesel are always quick to deliver great customer service. My name is Erick and I am the Service Advisor at Aamco Dixie. Republic is the ONLY choice for us for our drive shaft needs. They help us get our customers back on the road in a timely fashion. Republic Diesel is a very busy company due to their strong customer base, yet they always find a way to be prompt and accurate.

Lied to on original quote, inflated their parts price, lied to about the high price of the bill. poor attention to detail on shaft reassembly, bolts in backwards. didn't even paint their weld, didn't even clean off the excessive grease they pumped into the joint. I even question if they put the correct part in and not a cheap made in China knock off, more profit for them. They just want your money, they don't want your business.

They built me a driveshaft for my K5 Jimmy really nice work and zero vibration and i just installed my republic diesel rebuilt 2 piece driceshaft on my 97 Danger Ranger. Always had to keep it under 60 or it would vibrate like a @#$%. With the rebuilt driceshaft and recently installed underdrive crank pulley its running strong and smooth up to 75 no problem. Thanks guys!!!!!
