They caused additional damage to the vehicle through negligence and did mediocre quality work for a high quality price. I ll be taking my car somewhere else from now on.

I felt very good about bringing my classic vehicle to overlay automotive and the place is very professional looking clean the people there very professional until want to get in my vehicle to drive it, home oil and whatever dirt from the mechanics all over my classic vehicle's front seat. Fuel completely empty but when I started it, it started great and drove off. Started cutting out, few miles down the road. Stopped at a gas station. Put half a tank of premium fuel in then drive off. It continuously kept cutting out. Wouldn't go very fast at all. I thought maybe stuff might have been floating around in the fuel tank maybe that was it, so I kept driving home. It just got worse from there. I kept in contact with the people head overlay and they said the same thing probably was or could be from the tank being so empty and then putting fuel in it. I looked at the vehicle description list of what they did and the carburetor was cleaned out but they never changed the fuel filter I'm not a mechanic but that was the main reason I brought it in there. I think we all entrust in our mechanics and hope that they care for the person that they're working for but I just don't feel that way, I feel taking advantage of because I paid them what they asked. They didn't fix it. I had it brought back to the shop and of course they're not going to fix it without charging more

I had a great experience at Overley Automotive. My car was dying while driving it so I took it to Overleys, this was my first time here so I was a little nervous but they were completely honest with me. New battery and a tune up was all it needed. Thank you to Overleys for being honest and not charging me for parts I don't need. My car will only be serviced at Overleys now.

I love this place and the service that they give. They call you and talk to you about what going on. I am 68 years old; it is nice to have a place you can trust. They have work on my wife PT Cruiser 2001 and we have been happy with the work they have done. It rides good and the air is ice cold. Now I take my F150 2002 there and they did a great job fixing the coolant leakage and flush the system out. They also change my oil. They are willing to work with you. I love John Overly Automotive. They have helped me with so many emergencies as well as scheduled repairs.They were originally recommended by a tow truck driver about 7 years ago who said he had been impressed with their service and had started using them personally.Most recently, my vehicle was overheating so I rushed it in for emergency repair. They were very busy and had to keep it overnight, but told me that immediately.Early the next afternoon, John Overly called to tell me my vehicle was ready and there was absolutely no charge because they had replaced the same part about 2 years ago. They give a 36 month parts AND LABOR guarantee. I would not have realized it was under warranty unless he told me! I tried to get him to take something for their time, but he refused.Very honest, friendly, and great mechanics, too! They repaired my car fob - new battery and programming. Also changed oil... Total cost was far less than half the dealer's quote! Thought tires needed rotation but tech advised to wait until next oil change... Great service!!!

My wife and I have used John Overley for several years, for several different vehicles. They will do you right every time and they appreciate your business. We've experienced multiple times for small things that they didn't even bother to charge us. They are honest and want you to be satisfied with the work they do for you. Was talking to a mechanic at this shop and I asked a simple question he couldn t answer. I asked how much is your hourly rate to put in a engine. He said it s gonna cost u around 9 or 10 k. He is a idiot!

Highly Recommend Overly! Very professional service. I was getting ready to leave a customers home when my van wouldn't start. Called a friend of mine who tried to help me with it but he and his father told me they knew people who had used and had heard good things about Overly Automotive and to give them a call. I contacted them and explained the issue and was told it could take several days as they were very busy. I told them I understood but whatever they could do to check it out and get it back to me would be most appreciated. They diagnosed the issue which was the security system on the van and got it back to me within 24 hours.I also contacted John a little while back as I've been looking to purchase another van and he was happy to give me advice about the older style cargo vans compared to the newer European style vans.I'm going to be getting another van shortly and will be in touch to see about regular maintenance for it. My 2000 Corvette had a check engine light along with smoking and knocking noises. I knew it was not good. John Overly checked out the issue and attempted to resolve with the lowest cost option. Unfortunately, that did not remedy the situation. The initial work was completed at the quoted amount and an estimate was provided for the remainder of the work.The repairs were expensive but reasonable for the amount of work. The communication and estimated time for repairs were above and beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend this business!Thank you.Service: Auto engine tuning

I had to get two new tires, and they told me my front brakes needed to be replaced. They did not make noise before I went there, but now they make a terrible noise whenever I stop. I will get new brakes, but certainly not there. Edit: I'm not seeing the new brakes would not have been an order in a relatively short time. All I'm saying is that they did not make that terrible noise before I took the car to your shop.

Several friends and co-workers recommended John Overly Automotive to me several years ago and I've been a customer there ever since. Reasonably priced, always finish work when they promise and often sooner, and completely satisfied with everything I've needed for my car. I'd definitely recommend them for all your automotive needs!

Overly did a good job repairing electronic engine controls on our older Dodge camper van. They spent a lot of time getting it right and it was tricky getting the parts. Good place.

Awful shop that rips you off. Wanted over $1000 for a simple caliper and rotor replacement, on top of that charged me $100 for 15 min worth of work figuring out he needed to replace those few simple parts, acted like it was rocket science and the $100 charge was justified. Don t go here, so many better shops that charge less do better work and are honest. Also the owner was extremely rude, I will let everyone know that this place is a huge rip off.

Have been taking all my families vehicles to this shop since I moved to town over 10 years ago. Always prompt service, even on bigger service work. John and Nick have helped us keep our cars in good running order, even when we were on tight budgets some years. They won t try to sell you parts/services you don t need, like so many shops! (For example, took my spare vehicle if for four new tires and they called me to recommend I only get two, as the other two still had over 10,000 miles life left!) Have taken several used vehicles here for prepurchase inspections, too, so we would know what we would be facing. They pointed out some expensive issues, that we would have been stuck with otherwise. Gave us complete information to make the smartest buying and negotiating decision for our daughters first car!Services: Transmission, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Oil change

I lost a wheel while traveling through Louisville and was taken here by the AAA tow truck late Thursday night. They had my car repaired and ready for me by Friday and the price was very fair. Furthermore they contacted me a few days later to make sure i was still satisfied and that i was no longer having any issues. Highly recommend them

Called 1 week prior coordinated and paid for a tow as the vehicle was being delivered informed me he does not want to work one vehicle anymore for a basic 305 carbureted engine. Said he would foe $300 and then said $500. I honestly didn't care about the cost just wanted the timing issue resolved. Do not go here avoid at all costs.

Trustworthy staff, I never feel taken advantage of when I leave Overley Automotive. Work is always done in a timely manner and they can typically get you in on the same day. I ve been a customer for 2 years now and I m not going anywhere else!

Used them for the first time. Had some problems with my cooling system in my 2013 Ram. They kept me updated with everything. Told me how much everything would be before performing any service. I could not be more pleased with the professionalism and quality of car care you get here. This is a family business that treats you just like you are family. I have been here for everything and they are always capable of quickly diagnosing the issue or issues and fixing them quickly. They have reasonable prices and are always 100% upfront with you. They don't just fix stuff and charge you for it and not tell you like some other places. They have an amazing staff that knows what they are doing.
