Absolutely wonderful service here. Friendly staff especially Ms. Karen, my service was done in a timely manner. Thank you so much to the owner Mr. Mike for taking care of the extra services that I needed done that I wasn t aware of, and for also making sure my vehicle was in good standing for me and my children. This place I give a 10/10.

Great service. Great pricing on repairs. Friendly staff. They've got our business from now on. Another shop had quoted me for the same repair over $400 plus a diagnostic fee of $108, Newton's quoted me for $150. They even waived the fee for the diagnostic because I had them do the repair. They saved me over $300 bucks. Awesome job Newton's. We will recommend this shop to family and friends in the future.

Needed to get my poor car fixed up, had some obvious alignment issues and was told at another place I needed to get the suspension fixed. Came to Newton's and they told me what was really wrong and even welded my muffler back in place to stop the racket it was making, free of charge! Very friendly and trustworthy people, I would recommend this place to anyone who is worried about being misled by auto shops!

Going to Newtons is always a positive experience. The prices are within the ballpark of average services and the work is done quickly and accurately. Was told the good news job got cheaper when in reality they didn't do the job right an decided to not get the alignment done on my truck . Company seems to have a problem being transparent with there customers

Mike and Karen Newton are super thoughtful and kind. They were quick and receptive to getting my truck issues address quickly, explained exactly what my issue was, showed me evidence to support the need for the repairs and did so at what seems like a fair and reasonable rate. I will be entrusting them with future car repairs. They are also conveniently located to my work, which is a bonus. Most importantly they did a great job of communicating and keeping me in the loop with what was going on during the process of the repairs. Newton s is fantastic!!!! I m not from Louisville and I don t have any family here that could help me with my car. I stopped by Newton s because they were the closest to me with the highest reviews. I made the right decision!!!! They are super helpful and explain everything I needed to know about what my car was doing. They were exceptionally fast as well, having my car fixed within a couple days. Karen was super kind also and drove me all the way home (downtown) because they still needed to keep my car the 2nd night. SO thoughtful and kind!!!!They also don t take advantage of people and they make sure to charge very reasonable prices for labor and parts needed. If I have any other car issues in the future, I m going straight to Newton s Automotive!Thanks guys! Service: General repairs & maintenance

They are great! I had a to replace a brake line and have general maintenance done. Not only did they do a good job but their prices are very reasonable. Cheaper than if you were to take it anywhere else. And they go above and beyond to help you. Mike and the rest of the guys are wonderful people. I went in just to get my breaks looked at and my dented wheel well looked at. He ended up fixing my door that was unopenable and the wheel well and just charged me for the breaks. Best place ever!!! I can't express how grateful I am of what they did!

I needed a mirror assembly replaced and my brother recommended Newtons Automotive.I called and Mike told me to come in the next morning. I can honestly say I have never met a friendlier group of guys. All 4 guys were very friendly and very efficient. Not only did they replace my mirror they replaced a wiper blade and inflated my tires because they noticed they were low.I was more than pleased with what I was charged. Mike is a fair guy and believes in helping people save when he can. I highly recommend this shop and will be taking my vehicle back whenever I need service.Thanks guys, I really appreciate your kindness , friendliness and above all your fair rates. Mike was super helpful and knowledgeable. Im from MN. I pull a camper and winter in KY. I heard a squeaky noise coming from under my Chevy Silverado and he said it sounded like a U-Joint going bad. Bring it in we will check it out, if one is bad we will replace both and put heavy duty ones in since you pull a camper 1600 miles to get here. They did the job with excellence and great price! Honesty is what i look for!! Have been there before they never disappoint!

This place is great! Took my car in thinking I needed a CV joint replaced. Instead they found it was just a bolt that came loose. They fixed it and only charged the $100 diagnostic fee. We will be back!!!

I had brake work and some wheel bearing work done. These were two different occasions, I had explained the importance of only having one vehicle and I needed the work done fast but effectively. He did a great job and my car ran great and was done in a timely manner. I would reccomend this place. Family owned and they make you feel like family as well.

I have been ripped off so many times from so called"automotive shops". But this is a truly honest mechanic. I couldn't afford to get my car fixed. As a veteran I had just about given up hope. But then I met Mike Newton and his crew. They took care of my car needs and treated me like family. They are the best. He has been in business for many years and I thank God I found him. I took my car here to get my catalytic converter replaced, I was nervous because I am a first-time car owner and didn't know who I could trust to not cheat me but God blessed me to find Newton's! Very honest, fair and professional, great customer service and they replaced my catalytic converter for a very, very fair price! Very down to earth people, I would recommend Newton's automotive to anyone seeking a car-repair shop they can trust 100%!

Mr. Mike is a honest man. He will tell what s wrong with your vehicle. He will not fix something unless he gets your permission which is amazing. He gets work done in reasonable amount a time. While I was truck to a doctors appointment, my truck started to make grinding noise and wouldn t brake. I ve had people tell me that my brakes failed and needed to be replaced. I took my truck to Newton s and Mr. Mike told me that it was wheel bearing. He fixed and my truck works perfect better than before. He will tell you the truth and not mess around with you. He s honest, kind, reasonable man. Highly recommended to Newton s for any automotive problem!

Newtons automotive have helped me with three major issues on my 2007 impala since January 2019. Never once rude or impatient. Karen has a heart of gold and Mike is assertive in all that he does, with reasonable pricing. They were a winning team.Sadly Mike is overwhelmed after years of dealing with this business and after 30+ years he let me down with his help today. 1/18/22I've paid thousands into this shop and it's sad that I still need another alignment after two.He got loud and frustrated.He answered none of my questions directly.Then he was like "WHAT IS THAT U WANT TO KNOW!?"I'm disappointed Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Oil change

I was so shocked when he told me the price he is affordable and truly honest.... I went to brake away and they told me over a 1000$ and stuff that didn't need to be done plus i had 3 other things that needed to be fix so i knew it was going to be well over 1000$ not with this guy .... I will forever go here.... On top of that i only have one car he had my car 2 days, told me what was wrong with it got the parts and fixed it usely i don't get my car back for a week .... Never again this is the man to get the job done !!!!! Did i mentioned he's honest....Services: Electrical repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

I went in to have brakes done in the rear of my 2003 mustang and they found an issue with my right front side caliper as well and they did not gouge me outrageously to fix both. They were quick and very efficient, my car drives better then before. You have to give them a shot I guarantee u will come back, I know I will be using them for all of my other cars for sure. This is a hidden gem! I researched for hours on a catalytic converter, Mike at Newton's had the answers. Mike is now my brother I didnt know I had, such a nice guy and he has over 30 years under cars. I recommend Newton's

If you need any mechanical work done on your vehicle, this is the best place to go! Inexpensive, job done right the first time. Gets the work completed quickly! I highly recommend Mike and his certified, master mechanics.
