If I was able to give this shop 10 stars, I would. I ve been coming here since January 2023 and every time I arrive, Nick greets me with a smile and aligns the lift post points under my car. When I get stuck trying to remove a seized nut, he offers solutions that I didn t think of. I once needed to torque a 22mm power steering banjo bolt, but my 1/2 drive torque wrench and 22mm socket couldn t fit in that tight area to torque. I asked Nick what should I do, he came up with the genius idea of using a 22mm spark plug socket to fit in that tight space. That is just one of the many ways he has helped me work on my car. I ve done small jobs like oil changes and big jobs like a complete front suspension refresh (new control arms and steering tie rods), but no matter the size of the job, Nick is there to lend a helping hand when needed. His shop is wheelchair accessible as well, a huge plus for me. Momentum Motorsports has earned a lifetime customer. Will be returning one day to do rear wheel bearings on my other BMW. My son and I travelled to Momentum to do some work on a Mustang. We needed a lift that we could leave the car on for a couple of days as we did the work. Nick, the owner, was super accommodating and was extremely helpful. We don't have a DIY garage in Knoxville and had to choose between going to Atlanta or Louisville. We are so glad we chose Louisville. Very relaxed atmosphere and they had all the tools we needed. Thanks again Nick, we couldn't have gotten this work done anywhere else. Marc Brun

What an AWESOME concept. We needed a shop like this for years! Nick has provided an affordable, safe place to work on your ride. With a tire changer/ balancer and air tools and 4 10000lb lifts. This is a VERY laid back shop with a helpful owner. He loaned me an bit for my hand impact when mine broke. Had nice non-scratch sockets to remove your lug nuts.I can t say enough good things about this place, it was a real pleasure to work on my car here. I definitely will be back again!

My son had to rebuild the front end of his truck and this place was outstanding, the lift was exactly what Was needed to make this repair go much smoother!Then I needed my brakes installed and the lift was great, made changing the brakes so much easier and faster! I highly recommend this place The owner Nick is super friendly and is knowledgeable and very helpful. If you re not afraid to get your hands dirty and do the work yourself this is the place is for you! I have photos of the brakes being replaced but not of the pickup truck front end being rebuilt!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Brakes

Today I was a first time customer and had the very best experience. The gentleman working today who s name I believe is Nick was so super unbelievably helpful it was just unreal. Every time in hit a roadblock trying to install new wheels and tires on my 63 Olds Cutlass, Nick was there with his expertise to help me through. He asked for nothing at all in return. Unreal. I love this place and plan to be a lifetime customer and will refer others. Thank you Nick and Momentum Motorsports!!!

Great self service garage. These guys have all the tools you need to work on your car. I used the lift and several of their power tools and it was great being able to have what I needed. The owner Nick is very friendly and knowledgeable and helped me out when I needed it. Awesome!

A fantastic environment that gives you the tools necessary to work on your own vehicle. Staff is knowledgable and will give recommendations, buts its up to you to do the work. This place is awesome! I was in town for a few weeks and needed to do some suspension work on my SUV. The facilities are fully equipped w/ every tool you could ever need and an incredibly helpful owner who didn't hesitate to lend and hand and teach me some new tricks. This place is a true gem. I worked on my car here for two days last weekend. It was truly a godsend to be able to use the lift and have access to a broad set of tools. There are 4 spacious bays each with a 2-post lift. Nick, the owner, is a Veteran and probably the most polite, stand-up guy you'll ever meet. He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to guide me in the right direction when needed. I would give them 6 stars if I could!

DIY'ers will find this place a must go to on ones list. Access to a lift, and taught how to operate it. Plenty of tools. Advice on common repairs and so on. Was working on my rear brakes. Almost gave up. Was showed, and assisted as to what was causing my problem. So much thx, really.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great work space. It's nice to have somewhere to fix my car with proper equipment instead of trying to do it in my driveway.

I cannot believe it took my husband and I this long to find this place. We service our own Volvos and live in the city. This place has everything you could dream of in automatic or hobby shop go-to. Hydraulic Lift, welding equipment, sandblasting even some advice for the new. Can rent by the hour or join the monthly for longer projects. DEFINITELY will be returning again.

This is a gem for us DIY guys that don't have a place to work. The lift usage is alone is worth the rental price and tool use is included. Owner is helpful and friendly. Did the month membership to get all my repairs done on all my vehicles.

Needed a place to replace a wheel bearing in my car and found Momentum Motorsports online. They had everything I needed to complete the job efficiently and the owner was right there to help find the different tools I needed. They had everything necessary for my project and a whole lot more. If you re a DIY person and need a place to wrench on your ride, I can t recommend Momentum Motorsports enough. Took my students there for an educational field trip and the two gents (Nick and Big Al) were very informative and helped us learn how to do an oil change! Will definitely use their services for my own car maintenance!!

Great Place for a DIY job! I replaced the rod bearings in my 2006 BMW M5 at this place. Dropping a subframe to get to rod bearings is not something to laugh at!Nick is a very patient and helpful dude! Shop is well organized and has the majority of tools you'll need to get the job done. Can't go wrong in choosing this location for your DIY repairs!

This is a great DIY auto garage. The owner is a real stand up guy full of knowledge and ready to provide help whenever needed. All the tools needed to do virtually anything to your automobile from balancing and mounting tires to swapping an engine to changing your oil are provided. Plus, utilizing the lift makes everything so much easier. I will definitely be returning whenever something is needed to be done on my car.

Let's just say that this is definitely something to help build on. For most of us DIY'ers who can't work on our vehicles cuz of where we live can now appreciate the value this place offers. I will be spreading the word for others to follow suite & bring their business to Momentum Motorsport & so that they can help this business grow. I was literally in/out within the hr on a job I worked on & absolutely loved being able to get what I needed done w/o the hassle of management on me or having to find a place cuz my place isn't suitable.

This is a very neat place to work on your vehicle. Well organized tools and clean tables. Nick is a great guy, accommodating, very helpful. Rate is fair. I'm glad I found this garage. Momentum Motorworks is a backyard mechanic's dream shop. Their concept is amazing. They have a fully set up professional auto repair shop. All the tools needed to do repairs are available including new lifts. You can reserve a work space by the hour or month. Momentum is locate at 1332 Hull St. off Payne st . between Barrett and Spring. There is plenty of parking as its a dead end. Any mechanical work from brakes, oil change or engine swap can be done at Momentum.

Awesome gem around the Louisville area. DIY garage full of all the tools you would need for any job you could think of, even full engine/transmission pulls and swaps. Owner is knowledgeable and willing to help! Can't say enough good things about this place, excited to have it around!

Every backyard mechanics wet dream. Friendly staff good environment and spacious work areas. An absolute godsend for someone like me living in an apartment where you can't work on your cars. Very nice D.I.Y. Auto Garage. Flat rate per hour for all tools and equipment needed. Owner is very helpful and willing to help if needed. Can save alot of money and time if you have the know how to work on your own vehicle. Also have a couple stands built for motorcycles.

This place is a lifesaver for car guys who don't have their own garage. They've got every tool you could ever need and Nick is super helpful and provides great advice when you need help solving any issues that come up during a project.

We raced the buggy's and go-karts when we went. The buggy's we're alot of fun, had some big jumps but wished they had a bit more power. Still 5 stars.

Incedible DIY AUTO GARAGE EXPERIENCE!!!! If you can beat it, I just don't know how. Friendly host. Full array of tools, 2 post lift, and compressed air spools in each bay. Pullers, jack stands, floor jack, air tools, hand tools, and everything u need to work on your car, snowmobile, or motorcycle. Bike tables with ramps and a full supply of lubricants, penetrants, and solvents. Great camaraderie or be left alone to knock something out. Overnight storage of your project is available. What a place!

Lifts, basic hand tools, and a lot of other useful equipment for your project. We did a full day rental. Got three projects done in a day. Ownership/management was very helpful and accommodating. Will be back for the next project.
