I hit a curb and blew my tire Christmas Eve morning a Sunday. I was pleasantly surprised to see Tires Plus was open. I called and Linda assured me they had the tire in stock and could get to me before they closed for the day. I dropped off my car around 1:15 and it was ready in 90 minutes. Prices were reasonable, my spare was stocked back under my car, and I was so grateful for the friendly, knowledgeable service and convenient hours.

Worst auto place in louisville. They do not communicate with you about what they are doing or especially what they are going to charge you for ahead of time! They quoted me $2300 worth of work after charging me $140 for a diagnostic check that I wasn't aware of. I took my car somewhere else and got it fixed for $435 and it runs great.

My wife and I live in the neighborhood next to where this location is. We walk our dog around the neighborhood throughout the day. The techs drive recklessly around our neighborhood speeding through a residential area without turn signals and speeding through turns that have bad blind spots. There are not only people walking their dogs, but there are also lots of kids in this neighborhood.Not only do they risk the lives of others but they are driving dangerously with your own cars that you bring to them.

The worst experience I've ever had at a tire shopThese guys wanted to sell me a a tire pressure sensor valve stem for a hundred dollars ,when you can buy one online for 26.00 for 4.They wouldn't install mine and the manager was the rudest condecending person I have ever delt with.Dont wast your time or money with these ripoffs.

Got my alignment done on a Sunday before I had to go out of town. It's very informative a lot better than the competitor that I was using who said I needed a lot of work done before I could even get the alignment.

I've been coming to this store for over 15 years. Managers come and go frequently. I was able to get my car in for a fast oil change and tire rotation but the price was much higher than I have ever paid in the past, considerably more than @ Meineke and Tire Discounters.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I don't normally leave reviews, but I wanted to express my gratitude to Michel Tires Plus in Saint Matthews, KY. I especially wanted to thank Store Manager Andrew Freels. My family and I were driving back home from our vacation when we experienced overheating of our car's engine. It was a Sunday morning and there were not many car repair shops open. Luckily, I was near Michel's Tires Plus and they had just opened. I spoke immediately with Andrew, and he agreed to have his mechanics look at our car as soon as possible. He called me in less than two hours. They had found the problem and it was something they could fix right away. I was literally back on the highway after a few hours. Considering that we had no prior appointment, I am amazed how quickly they were able to look at and fix our car. Thank you Andrew and Michel Tires Plus!!

If I could rate this experience a Zero instead of a One Star .. I would. I made an appointment on 9/21/22 online for 9/24/22 @ 8:00am for an oil change and received a confirmation email shortly after. When I arrived at 8:00am, there were 2 men sitting behind the desk doing absolutely nothing and one of them asked me when I needed my car back and I said 10:00am if possible but by noon would be fine. At 1:00pm I decided to go back up there because I hadn t received a call and my ride is a business owner himself and needed to go to work. When I arrived, the two men were still sitting behind the counter doing nothing and one of them asked me could they help me. I asked if my car was ready and he responded that I was next in line. Instead of getting upset, I turned around and walked out and went to grab a bite to eat. Two hours later @ 3pm, I arrived again because I figured my car should be ready. When I arrived again, my car was in the same spot and so were the 2 men behind the counter doing absolutely nothing. When they told me my car wasn t ready, I asked to speak to the manager. Well believe it or not, one of the men doing absolutely nothing was the manager. I explained to him my frustration and told him that they had several days to contact me between the time I made the appointment and now to tell me that they couldn t do a simple oil change. The manager said that they only had 3 techs there and were running behind. So you mean to tell me that you all were running 7 hours behind at 8am when I dropped my car off and why wasn t I notified. Another customer commented and asked if my car has really been there for 7 hours for a simple oil change and I responded yes. I asked for my keys back and told them I was taking my business elsewhere even though I got ALL my maintenance done there. My question is if he was really the manager and they were running 7 hours behind, why didn t he jump in to help or did he not mind letting his employees drown? He was doing absolutely NOTHING all 3 times I was there. UNACCEPTABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES AND POOR MANAGEMENT BEHAVIOR.Service: Oil change

First of all, bear in mind that I had prepaid for the service in advance after selecting my tires online and scheduling an appointment. When I showed up for my 11 o'clock appointment at 10:50, I was told the service would take longer than usual because the tires were not on site and had to be retrieved from another store. The tires that I had selected days in advance and made an appointment for... those tires... we're not on site at the location I picked my appointment for.After not hearing from anyone for hours, I showed back up at 2:45 and noticed my car in one of the bays. The service manager acted as if he was shocked that my service was not completed, and noted to me it was unusual circumstances because I was "the first person to ever prepay for services online." Really? I'm the first person to ever do that!?In the future, it might be best practice for this location to have in stock tires that were ordered and paid for days in advance. I have been coming to this location since 2015 with multiple vehicles but I assure you I will not be continuing business there

just got 4 brand new tires on the 16th it s the 21st and one is already flat!! Said they couldn t come to me and I wouldn t be able to come in today but have to wait until TOMORROW to bring my car in and get a new tire ! My total was close to $800 for an alignment , new tires and lug tightening just for my tire to be flat 5 days later !! Then he said tires go flat for multiple reasons, you could ve ran over a nail I live 9 minutes away and my car has been PARKED !!! not empathetic and not helpful AT ALL ! Get your tires elsewhere! I ll be there tomorrow though to get my tire or a REFUND !! I don t even trust the rest of my tires on my car enough to drive it down the road now

Great customer service. I thought my tire was punctured by a nail, but it turned out to be fine. They checked all of my tires and had me on my way. This place has gone downhill. I've gotten several sets of tires here...last time I got a new set they left a TPMS sensor "on" - when I let them know they said those sensors were expensive and it would be so and so much to fix. Why not fix it while changing the tires rather than send me out with a warning indicator on my dash? I also had a recent issue with another vehicle - purchased road hazard for a set of tires but when I brought in a tire to fix they couldn't find a record of my purchase. I called back later and they confirmed I did purchase the protection but didn't offer to schedule an appt. This is my local tire shop but I can't recommend given the mistakes they've made.Service: Tires

I purchased tires here last year and immediately went back due to slight thumping in rear end, but they said it was fine. Returned recently for oil change, tire rotation and check thumping noise and vibration in left rear that had gotten worse over time. After they inspected my car I was told to replace shocks and then rebuild differential if shocks didn't solve the problem. I declined additional repairs. I drove home with thumping and vibration and had the car lifted by a friend. He found loose lug nuts. We tightened them...problem solved. Based on them not tightening the lug nuts it appears they didn't rotate the tires or check anything and tried to upsell unneeded repairs. They are either dishonest or incompetent.

Horrible service! My serpentine belt snapped and i had my car towed to Tires Plus to get a new one put on and for the past 2 weeks they have not. At first they said my car wouldnt start and that the theft protection needed to be serviced as if I didnt know the S-belt runs your battery. So i go up to the shop and have a mechanic hook a jump pack to my battery and it starts up just fine. Assures me he'll order the part the next business day and work on my car that week. Fast forward a few days and i cal to check on my car to find out they still havent put the belt in and now theyre claiming something else is preventing them from doing it. When i asked what that was he claimed he didnt know and that he would find out and call me back. Havent heard from him sinceService: Auto engine diagnostic

I had a flat tire at 6 PM and they were able to replace the tire and get me back on the road by 7 PM. The new tire also fixed a shaking problem with my car. I was very impressed and happy.Service: TiresService: Tires

Michel Tires has worked on my Tesla twice. First when I blew a rear tire and this time when I needed front tires. They have been great with me about communicating about when tires will be in, the price, and how long it will take to install them. They left the tires a bit messy with caulk looking substance but the tires are great. I will go back.

Horrible experience. We made one appointment only to be told they couldn t get to the car that day. I then made another appointment, dropped the car off in the AM and showed prior to closing only to see everything in the same place. They took customers off the street without an appointment before me, and I needed the tires for a cross-country trip in the morning. I was forced to lose one day of my hard earned vacation just to get something done that was scheduled and promised days earlier. The manager (Jason) was unapologetic and quite rude, even referring to my 60 year old husband as Bro . We will not come back to any Michel tire.Service: Tires

Stopped in because it was the nearest place to replace my flat tire on a Saturday. Mike was very pleasant and easy to work with and helped me get a great deal on a tire. I was in and out in 45 minutes despite the store being very busy. I would recommend this Michel Tires Plus location to any one. Thank you for helping me out in a pinch!

Needed an alignment before getting some new tires. Stopped in here and they had me in and out in no time. The difference in my vehicle's driving and handling was amazing after the work. Seem to be very honest and trustworthy for automotive repairs, and gave a year warranty on their work. I do wish I had received a printout for reference for the readings of the starting point and corrections.

Took my work vehicle (Donlen Fleet) in for new tires. Associates were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Dealing with our fleet company can be a handful sometimes to get service done. The guys at Michel Tires Plus knew how to get things moving with our fleet management company and got me in and out, and back to work quickly. Great service!

I went at the end of the business day right before they closed with an emergency tire issue. I needed it fixed in less than 24 hours for long distance travel. They did not have the tire in stock or any open appointments and they still got it all taken care of for me so I could keep my travel plans.

They scammed me because I m a girl simple as that they charged me $500 to fix my back breaks that didn t need fixing it was my front and then I left because I had thought they fixed the correct breaks there s no communication at all not only that they did an evaluation of the whole car and never once did someone say something about my back breaks and after I left my breaks were even worse and I couldn t afford to pay for the front to be fixed as well these people don t care about the safety of the drivers who s cars they work on I also want it to be kept in mind they kept my car for 2 days just to change the breaks worst mechanic shop I ve ever been too and will never go back save your time and money and go elsewhere

Very happy with my experience at the chenoweth Michael Tires Plus. After I had a flat tire, I had my car towed there, and they immediately called me and gave me the run down of what they were going to be doing. They were able to match my rear tires, but the tires had to be transferred. The transfer was done in less than 24 hrs and I was able to drive away happy and without much loss of time coordinating rides to work. They offered 6 month interest free financing which also helped pay for what could have been a bank buster at the time. Thank you guys. Seriously.

Quick job done, and didn't do anything without consulting me, forcing extra charges. They did check my car out and gave recommended fixes I could have them do if I wanted. Other than that, great place to get tires checked and replaced.

They changed the oil but only the oil. Did not fill washer fluid, engine coolant, nor power steering fluid. This is the second time. They tried to sell me tires but then did not fill the tires to the recommended pressure levels. I asked for my tires to be rotated and that was not done either. I would be careful trusting them with your or your spouse s car.

I recently went to this establishment with the complaint that I was loosing pressure in my tire. They told me I had a nail in my tire that was in an are they could not pull it out without damaging my rim, and that I would need a new tire. And then told me I may as well replace all of my tires since the other ones were getting worn down. He offered me a deal of getting one free tire if I bought the other 3. I had a weird feeling and told them I would think about it. I took my car to a Big O tire store and they patched the tire no problem, and said I had at least another year or more left on my thread on all of my tires. What was about to cost me $450, costs me $30 for a patch. I think they seen a girl walk in a and I was easy prey to take advantage of :(
