Tom was great! Extremely knowledgeable and a joy to work with. Our car got stranded in Louisville and he was able to get it back running in no time. There's no tricks or any hidden pricing. It was an excellent experience!

I had my Lincoln repaired by Meltons, and although it was a very expensive fix, I would not have had anyone else do it. This was hands-down, the best experience for a bad situation (major car trouble - water pump, timing belt). I waited a full 4 weeks to write this review to see how it held up. I ve taken it out of town twice and it drives better than it did when I first bought it. The mechanic is so honest and nice. I really appreciated that and I appreciated that he worked so tirelessly and got it finished so quickly. If you want your car back in good condition, go here. Thank you Meltons!!!

Melton's is the only auto repair shop that my husband and I will take our vehicles to. We don't know a ton about vehicle repairs, but Tom is great at explaining what needs to be done and why. Most importantly - we feel like he's super honest with the pricing and timing for our repairs. 1000% recommend to everyone.Service: Air conditioningService: Air conditioning

Mr. Melton is a very honest mechanic and has always done a great job on my vehicles. I highly recommend this shop for mechanical needs. If you re lucky you might get to see the cute boxer running around.

Melton Auto Service replaced wheel bearing on my Kia Soul 2016. Fair price and excellent work. Later Tom replaced shocks on my 1997 Nissan Truckfor fair price and quality work. I was able to get appointment within couple days. Happy to have Melton's Auto services close to my home. Seldom do I assign a rating of two or fewer stars, but it is merited here. As someone that has used car repair services for decades, I have seen the exceptional and the very poor.Tom seems like a nice enough person, or this gets one star.So, what happened? I needed to get what should have been a rather straight forward repair completed. What happened was my truck being kept for a week and having it nearly disassembled.I was never giving an estimate before the repair was made even after I asked for it. They simply made the repair and hit me with the bill after I had the truck towed to the repair shop.As you may or may not know, AAA will not tow your vehicle away from a repair shop once it is there. Shops such as this one, know this, and armed with this knowledge, use it to run up the labor cost.It's a shady way to to do business.

Mr. Melton always takes great care of us. We have been using his services for the past 2 years and have no intention of going elsewhere. He is trustworthy, fair and reliable. I genuinely trust him and highly recommend his services.

The owner I believe was the person who helped me repair a quick flat. He was very nice and charged a fair price. He was very informative and knew what he was talking about.
