Excellent care at this store. I just got an oil change, but I heard the mechanic talking to an older lady, going way above and beyond what is expected. He had a long conversation with her, explaining things as she seemed very stressed, and ended up giving her free batteries for her key fob. Great customer service.

Rolls eyes. Why did I try to be an adult? This is why I don t lol. I took my car to them yesterday. I was able to drive it start it not worry about it cutting off, getting to work. Writing this as I m currently on the side of the road which had never happened. After they fixed it. I can t drive it at all. And gave them all the money I had to fix the issue. Why did I do that? I was better off not going there because now I m stranded. And I just really can t believe I have to pay to get it towed there when it was driving fine until they touched it. Great. Thanks. I was literally driving when I took my car to them and now I don t have a car and I m taking Ubers. The car won t drive. And they won t do a thing. It s disappointing, and quite discouraging to know they cared so little to take my money, and that was all. Said if I get it towed there, they will look and see what s wrong. Why would I pay for towing when they re the reason my car no longer drives. Said their free towing service pays up to 5 miles. What am I supposed to do with that and I live over 20 minutes away. It s not right. Should be illegal, and those guys should be ashamed. Dylan.

The gentleman in the office was beyond helpful and the other gentleman who changed my oil for me was beyond informative and gave great insight on the undercarriage of my vehicle. I will come back and I highly recommend compared to the competitors in this area.

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. My niece took her car here for an oil change. The tech stripped out the oil plug. Then told her she needed new brake rotors. Also left plastic cover off the bottom engine cover. I replaced damaged oil plug; checked rotors-they are in perfect condition; replaced plastic cover. So many of these shops will rip off a young woman.

Been dealing with a thumping noise from the rear of the car. Another firm wasn t able to discover anything. Brian and his team determined that the noise might be emanating from a loose spare tire in the trunk which was secured down. The noise is gone. Although they inspected the car on the rack, it was no charge as there professionalism and kindness preceded talk of money. I ll be back O

Took my car in because the front end was shaking. They test drove it and told me they could hopefully get it drivable without charging me anything crazy. They charged me $800 to replace the control arm, hoping that would fix the issue. After I paid the $800, this place, same day, told me it was not fixed and tried to charge me $6,000 to replace the CV axle assembly and replace the differential. Long story short, I had it towed elsewhere and it cost me a grand total of $115. Car is no longer shaking and I m not out 6 grand.

Came in for tire balancing. Guy called and convinced me I need a new ball joint and that I couldn't drive with out it and that after the ball joint was compete he had to do an alignment. Magically got the"work" done in under an hour, charged me nearly $600 and it still needs balancing.

This is by far my favorite Meineke in the city of Louisville! I have always felt like family when I go here. Never had a bad experience. I pass up two other locations to get to this particular place. If I could give 100 stars I would! Hands down the BEST location!

They charged my girlfriend $2000 for 4 shocks and 2 struts. One side is making a horrible sound when she turns, they say it s just a sound, but $3000 if you want to fix that sound.Reply to your generic retail response:We already contacted you for a resolution when she took it back in the first time. If you would have resolved then, there would be no need for a negative review.

I go to Meineke for service and oil changes. They're always very helpful and go out of their way for me. I asked them before if I could bring my car by because it's telling me that the tires were low and the manager there said bring it by and we'll take care of you. They filled my tires for me and it was such a relief . It's nice to have peace of mind and someone you can depend on. Recently they just fixed a problem that another business could not and it was a headache that I've had to deal with for a year. What a relief to find people that know what they're doing, are honest and dependable!Services: Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

I had an appointment for an Uber required annual vehicle inspection for a 2023 Kia Forte. I had purchased new wiper blades at AutoZone but hadn't put them on because of recent snow and rain. I asked Brian (store manager) to install them for me while it was inside a sheltered area. I paid $20 in 2022 for the same service but was charged $82.70 on 1/23/24. He didn't offer a receipt and told me to swipe my card so I did because there was another customer and I wasn't in the mood for a confrontation. When I called the store to ask what I was charged for Brian said that it was $39.95 for inspection and the rest was .2 hours labor and taxes. At that time he told me that he would call me back but so far has not. Brian is not a certified mechanic but he installed the wipers. A certified mechanic would have taken 5 minutes, not 12 minutes to put them on. I feel that he took advantage of me and would like a partial refund. He offered me a free oil change but after this I don't want to do business with him again.Whatever happened to good will?

My alternator went out on my way to work. Meinicke had my car towed (for free) and repaired before the workday was over. A difficult alternator had to be changed along with the battery which Meineke replaced for free because they discovered a warranty left on the battery. I could not have done the work myself for a similar price. The manager I think Brian? Answered my phone calls all day and was completely calm and cool and informative every time. These guys are awesome. Still looking for a part after two they ordered came defective. But they really have gone above and beyond. Got everything else replaced on my passenger side window but there's a short on the driver's main switch. Will definitely be using this Meineke from now on.
