Would rate 6 stars if I could. I'm from out of town and had car trouble while on a tight schedule. Matt squeezed me in diagnosed and fixed the problem quick and at a very fair price. The garage itself is really cool too.

Good dude. Fair price. While there is a lot of shady mechanics here in Louisville it s good to know there are a few good ones left. And by that I mean he puts the customer first with a very reasonable price. If I ever have any issues with my car I m going to see Matt s shop first because I know he enjoys his craft and delivers excellent service. Thanks Matt.

So far so good. I believe I have found my new automobile bestie. Matt was very kind, and seems honest. Easy to work with and got the job done in a timely fashion. Price was also very reasonable. I would recommend this shop and plan to return for my next scheduled maintenance.

Matt is an awesome guy! He's very personable and takes the time to have a conversation with you. He loves what he does. You can tell that he puts his whole heart and spirit into this. There are a lot of mechanics and people in the auto industry who want to take all of your money and care nothing about you, but Matt is honestly the most reliable and trustworthy mechanic that I know. He's even driven me downtown to work while my car was in his shop. He cares about his customers and has very fair, even unbeatable prices. I have a 2006 BMW 325xi, and anyone who has experience with German cars knows that they are expensive to fix and maintain. I've done my homework on mechanics who deal with BMWs in Louisville, and his prices and quality are the best. My wife has a Honda Accord, and his work is great on those too. I also introduced my friend to him, and he as a Honda Civic. He now swears by McCormick Motor Sports as well. I would recommend him to ANYONE living in the area.

My wife's friend recommended she take her car to McCormick Motor Sports because she was told she would need a very pricey procedure done immediately to the car. Matt checked the car over and let her know other than the oil change she had also requested the car was in great shape and nothing else needed to be done. We recently needed to bring it again and was able to get the car back quickly and at a very reasonable price.Matt is honest, fast, knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. Since our first visit we have moved 45 miles away to another county, but we still consider him to be our mechanic. I cannot recommend him enough.

I called several shops around downtown Louisville before going with McCormick s. From the first phone conversation I had with the proprietor of McCormick s, I got a feeling he was STRAIGHTFORWARD, HONEST, AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I was right. On the day we agreed upon, he performed my overdue maintenance timing belt replacement (and accompanying rollers, water pump, coolant flush, etc.) for a competitive price and got my 2000 Honda Accord EX back the same day, which is amazing because it s a big job and no other shop could arrange this. Other places were saying this was a 6-7 hour job and he got it done in 5. Grossman Tuning was trying to charge me $1100 for the same job and he did it for $580. Additionally, I asked him a ton of questions (I would like to think I asked somewhat intelligent questions) and he was more than happy to answer them in detail. He also noticed I had a misfire and showed me how to change my spark plugs myself, including which tools, to save money. He also diagnosed my known power steering line leak (topped up the power steering fluid too) and quoted me a price to fix it in the future at around HALF THE PRICE of my old mechanic. Also, my hood latch had been giving me issues and he fixed it in like 5 seconds with pliers and some lube. He also told me that my brake sensor is going bad (sometimes I have to pump the brakes a couple times to shift into reverse). He showed me how to use the keyhole next to the shifter to start my car in neutral in the event it ever gets stuck in park, so I don t get stuck somewhere.McCormick s has excellent customer service with great attention to detail and competitive pricing. I ve gone to a handful of shops over the years and I d strongly recommend this one to anyone.

I highly recommend Matt and his team! I took my Jeep in there after another mechanic told me it needed a few things done. Matt took a look at it and was honest and said it didn't really need the work that I had been told it needed. He checked out a few other things and he was very reasonable on the price. Honest, amazing service and staff! I would highly recommend McCormick Motorsports to anyone! They are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We are going to start taking all of our company vehicles to them! Thanks guys!

So I was real cautious about having my vehicle worked on because of so many horrible past experiences with mechanics. This was a completely different story. I called this place and not only was the gentleman I spoke to super polite and knowledgeable but seemed excited to meet my vehicle and also myself. I had a wheel bearing that was shot to hell and not only did it get fixed but Matt also took the time and knowledge he has to replace my axle as well. He worked with me on a agreeable price and also still wants to do some other things to my vehicle. I have now made this the only person I will let work on vehicle. If you need a mechanic, Matt is the guy I trust and you should as well.

Matt is one of the most honest mechanics I have ever met. He definitely cares more about the customer than the money. My car was on it's last leg and instead of selling me on getting an extensive amount of work done to fix it, he gave me a very honest opinion that I would be better off getting another car. I would highly recommend him.

I have always gotten great service, and at very fair prices, whenever I bring my truck in. They even brought the truck back to life after a timing belt incident, which I consider a bit of a miracle. Great, great mechanic and I've told all my friends to take their cars to McCormick. Matt goes out of his way to make sure the job is done well.

Matt is a pro at his craft. He does what needs to be done and nothing else and he gives you all options up front and lets you decide how much or what it is you want done. I always trust Matt to do a good and fair job and the vehicle will be in tip top shape once you leave the shop. I got a tuneup, new tires and oil change on my first trip to the shop and it was an A+. The most recent trip I was having issues with timing chain and weird sounds from my wheels. Turns out Matt had to troubleshoot a little and discovered wheel bearings as a source of the noise. He had the truck figured out and repaired in a matter of hours. I was recommended to Matt by a friend and had my dead car towed to him with what I was convinced was a $400 problem. He told me it was only a $150 problem when he could easily have taken advantage of me. Instead, he earned a new loyal customer. He cares about his customers, and is a personable, honest guy. He finished the work when he said he would and never made me feel uncomfortable or intimidated. Highly recommend!

Matt is easily one of the classiest businessmen I have worked with in any field. He's honest, upfront, and takes the time to educate you about the work he is doing to your car. He never pushes unnecessary work on you and will get you the best deal he can. Give him a call!

Highly recommend going here!! I have been taking my car here for a year and a half now. The owner is very responsive, very respectful of my budget limitations and is the first mechanic to ever take the time to really explain what my car needs and why. Just took in my 15 year old car in this week and could not be happier with the work done!

Best auto repair service in town. Honest. Prompt. Professional. Work done on time and with up front estimate with options. No hidden fees at pickup. Owner-operator is onsite and oversees all work done. Never had an issue he couldn't readily address in a day or two.

I went to this place because it s in my hood and the reviews were good, but I would go here if I lived across town. The epitome of what s good about small business. Both Matt and his mechanic (apologies for forgetting his name) were a pleasure to deal with. They made me feel comfortable, they knew their stuff, the turnover was fast, and they were very affordable. Recommended.

Matt McCormick is the guy I will always call first if I have car troubles. He's done work on 2 different vehicles for me, and did a great job at a price that's more than fair. I won't go anywhere else for car repairs unless it's absolutely neccessary.

When a surgeon opens your body......... They pretty much find the same thing. BUT when Matt opens your vehicles hood he finds I unique puzzle , each one different and changing every year.Matt is a artistic genius !!!!! He is brilliant, confident, precise, and he loves his work !My vehicle is back on the road running perfectly... it's the machine it was designed to be ... If not better. Matt will take care of your vehicle like he takes care of his own body.....Perfection !! McCormick Motorsports came highly recommended to me and they did not disappoint. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, informative, attentive and friendly. I contacted McCormick Motorsports for brake service on my 2010 Honda Element and they were able to quickly schedule my car for a brake inspection and provide recommendations on the service needed and with very competitive pricing. Following service, they thoroughly explained the service provided and made suggestions for future general maintenance. McCormick Motorsports provided quality work with reasonable pricing and top notch customer service. I highly recommend supporting local businesses and will recommend McCormick Motorsports to anyone seeking quality automotive repair.

Oh my gosh you guys. I haven't had heat or air in my car for a little less than a year and it's been miserable! I went to Matt at McCormick and not only did he give me the best price there is but he also got my car done in earth shattering speed! He's amazing! I will be coming back for everything! I have been a customer of mcCormick Motorsport for nearly 10 years. Having sent my car elsewhere and been quoted then sending car into Matt whereby he told me x and y didn't have to be done, and explained and showed me why - I truly believe he deserves the "most honest mechanic awards" that I have seen on his wall.If you are worried about being ripped off by your mechanic - take your car here for an honest job and worry no more.

After several bad experiences at the NH Subaru dealership, McCormick proved to be a real lifesaver. It s difficult to find a reliable mechanic that will talk you through the issues and have the patience to answer all of your inane questions. You can depend on Matt for all those things and on top of that, a fair quote.
