Towed vehicle to location. Was with tow truck. 4 hrs later diagnosis of bad alternator and battery. They wanted $880 for parts. Double of anywhere else and wouldn't price match. Show up at 830 am and they are not open despite website, door, and Google hours stating they open at 730 am wasting my time further. Don't waste your time here go elsewhere.

Went to Kent to check on getting some new tires. A new manager is there his name is Gary very rude. Trying to press me to buy something I didn t want was not satisfied at all corporate. Should really look at their managers and what they re doing. This manager, Gary has no people skills whatsoever.

So sad to have to give a bad review because the guy at the service desk was so friendly and kind. They did a good job at getting me in and out quickly but this is a horribly sloppy job. I haven't even gotten the chance to scrub off all the glue on my rims from when they replaced the tires or I would comment how long it took but there is absolutely no reason for me to be left with this mess and work. Honestly a bit disrespectful. Just simply not a professional job done. I don't recommend using this location.

I definitely wouldn t recommend this location . They had my car about 4 days (over the weekend) just for them to say they ordered the wrong part and he as in (Nate) the manager he said he was, had to do some research on which part they needed and than he said he would have to call cord to see if they still made the part? My car is a 2012, Ive went with companies before but this was ridiculous , Not to mention he told me it ll be another 2-3 days ..for them to simply give me an eta on when my parts would even get to the shop , he couldn t even give me a set date my car will be fixed than proceeded to say I denied service when I never did, and when I asked him who I said I denied the service to he continued to tell me my car will be back on the lot. So than I told them they needed to contact my warranty because it was their mess up! Not mines . Nate did not care he put my car back in the parking lot and told me to go to another location all because I simply told him it made no sense how he didn t know what part was needed nor was able to tell me how long to get it? . Do not go to this location !!! Thankfully I didn t give them any of my money I will not be back! I know this is long but I hope this helps someone !

I took my car here to get some work done & this shop was excellent! I dropped my car off in the morning with Jeff and he was very friendly. I came back in the afternoon to pick up my car & Manny was the one who helped me then. He was great, very friendly and professional. He explained to me what was fixed and made sure I understood what I was paying for. Both of the guys were great managers and I could tell they knew what they were doing. I will definitely be bringing my car back to this shop in the future for any work that needs to be done.

I'm not sure what happened to this place but the new manager Gary is an idiot. He is really going to run off business. Glen is the only one in the place that knows what's going on. I will not be back or I will deal with Glen directly.

Made an appointment at 10am for a tire swap. When I got there at my set appointment, they had no idea about my car coming in. Not friendly or helpful! And the worst part is they overcharge. They are asking 48$ to swap one tire that s a small 16inch wheel. Big o & tire discounters will do the job for half the price!!! I won t be back here. Good thing there s 10 tire shops near me lol.

They would not rotate and balance my sisters car because the cv axel boot had a crack and grease was showing so they claimed the axel would fall off if they took the tires off... the tires! Not the axel nut like what! They have no experience at all. Wow. I believe they wanted to talk her up for some money because it was a warranty job due to the fact she bought 4 brand new tires here. Absolutely ridiculous. Horrible customer service from 2 of the employees.

Absolute nightmare. Had $2,600 worth of work done and my valve cover gasket is leaking and has been. The spark plugs weren't changed except for one and the car hasn't been the same since. The warranty of there work is awful as well.

I live hours away and needed work done that day. The guys at the shop went above and beyond to help get me back on the road home. Super friendly and highly recommended!

Glen is the best, the only mechanic i trust. He has explained in detail what i need, has even shown me my damaged parts. He gets the job done fast. He went above and beyond with my daughter to figure out her problem. I will always recommend this shop because of Glen.

I visited this location on Saturday, May 18th and was extremely pleased with the service we received. I was in from out of town looking at a used car and needed an inspection. I had called a competitor who told us they could get us in with no problem, but when we arrived there we were told it would be over two hours. We went to Ken Towery s across the street and even thought they could not get us in any sooner, the man there made some calls and directed us to this location. Brent Beyer was absolutely terrific! He got us in right away and had a technician inspect the car, a 2010 Honda Accord. When finished, the technician came to us and went over his findings and answered all questions we had. He and Brent helped us create a list of possible expenses we would have with the car so that we were able to make an informed offer. We were in and out within 45 minutes or less. I really appreciate their friendly, professional attitude. I was disappointed that we lived so far away and couldn t bring the car back to this location for service, but Brent let me know that they are affiliated with the Monro brand, which does have locations in Cincinnati, so that we could take our vehicles there. Thanks again for everything!

We had a super awesome experience today! My niece and I nearly got stranded when the exhaust fell off my truck. I called a nearby shop who told me they were booked and couldn't help me.I then pulled next door to Ken Towery and Glen was our hero. Without a second thought, he fixed us up so we could get home safely and get the truck to our mechanic. Thank you for your kindness Glen.

About 4 weeks ago I took in my cart and paid $578 to get lower control arm and tie rods done... I dropped the car off around 8:30 to 9:00 in the morning... When I had not heard from them around 1:30 I called and was told they were waiting on a part they did not have and that it would be done in about an hour. When I hadn't heard from them at 4:30 I called and was told they were just getting ready to call me that they had just finished.I picked the car up and even though it was running somewhat better it did not feel right when I would push on the brakes. I called and was told that was because I need a new brake pads and rotors. I took my car to bachman Chevrolet yesterday to have a mechanic look at it. When Ken Towery's put the caliper and tire back on the front passenger side they did not put the rear brake pad back. Now the caliper piston is destroyed and the back of the rotor is destroyed. And I know it was on there to begin with when they told me they checked the pads in the rotors.

Showed up a little early for my appointment but they went ahead and took my truck in. Then I waited for almost two hours for a oil change. The waiting room was nasty. It had dead roaches everywhere and I seen a few live roaches.

Excellent service from Dominique! He treated me like family today, I appreciate his honesty as far as what options I had with my tires! I ended up buying 3 new tires with the 4th tire for free. And I didn't leave feeling like I'd been taken advantage of because the price was very affordable and nothing mysteriously was added into my price. I even witnessed an elderly gentleman get his tire FIXED after the tire store across the street told him they couldn't repair his tire and tried to sell him a new one, and it WAS repaired by Dominique Ladies if you need tires or mechanical work come to Ken Towerys on Dixie Hwy in Valley Station(next to Rally's) Dominique and his co-workers were complete angels! The other two tire places in the same area were rude and didn't want to discuss what my problem was with my tires THEY WERE RUDE and just wanted to rush me away from the counter.

I was told that my vehicle would be ready in a Monday. I finally got it on a Wednesday. I called and left a message for the regional manager, he has yet to call me back. I spoke with the manager at the store because I noticed a broken pulley in front of my timing cover, which they replaced. He said he will call me back, but I have yet to hear back.

This review is for Ken Towery's new tire selling practices. I bought 4 new tires in late 2019 that had a manufacturing date stamp on the tires from early 2017. So these tires were almost 3 years old. I had an ordeal trying to get 4 new tires made in 2019 installed. But they did finally find some. I recommend to check the dates before they install "new" tires. So now it's 2022 and I picked 4 new tires for my other car from their kentowery.com website and booked an appointment for installation. Only to be told that the tires advertised online are a discontinued model and there are non in stock anywhere. But they do have some that they can sell me that are more expensive but have a 20,000 mile less warranty than the ones I wanted to buy. Bait and switch tactics. I walked away. I'll keep looking elsewhere. Too much aggravation and wasted time dealing with Ken Towery.

Do not go to ken towerys Valley Station. They told my wife that the car had seized calipers both sides the brake lines were clogged that's what caused it. She would need to replace both sides with the 4 new tires or was going to be 2100 dollars. The tires were suppose to be 406 out the door except state taxes ended up 563. If they weren't already on the car I would not have bought them. They told my wife the car was un safe to drive. She called me up there after talking to the guy everything he was saying. Seemed to be sketchy. So I told him I was taking for a2nd opinion. He tried saying it really un safe to drive. I drove it did not seem to bad felt safe. So I took it to another mechanic. He stated it only needed rotors and pads 400 dollars fixed with warranty . And fixed a exhaust leak for that amount.

I was pleased at first at the quick appointment. I asked for a check on why my SUV was missing on #3 cylinder ( i know my stuff, im a mechanic from a kid) even though i had already had a diagnosis done professionally and had the read outs in hand they insisted on charging me their own $125 (WHAT!!?) So ok. I just want to know, i wanted their opinion i told them mine which was a fuel issues. Just run a fuel pressure check thats all. Hmmm. I get the bill $145 truck wasnt even back together when i got there after they said it was done. Watched the guy throw it together. A couple days later i check the oil shut the hood and a part goes flyin! Omg I brought it in today explained i was unhappy the mechanic comes out and blames it on me!!! (What!?) Rudely i might add!! There is no way that part was done by me somewhere set there from Mn and sat up by the windshield been swept off numerous times and stayed there!!! I wont be lied5 to and treated as if im the victim. Never go there!!!

Always get an apt when I need it, usually the same day. Takes care of any problem I have with my car. I am a widow and I have him check my car out before I travel. Always feel safe.Great peronality[ Brent]. The other fellows do a good job following his directions. Never go to another place.

Took truck in to have them look to see what caused front end noise when going over bumps. Was told it was control arms and sway bar. Had the work done it cost me over aThousand dollars. Drove it home and squeak was worse. Went right back and told them what happened and it was like to bad.

They are such rip offs. I bought a tire from them back in November of last year. Paid 89.00 for a new tire. 5 months later the tire goes flat. They told me that I have a warranty but if the tire has to be replaced then I would have to buy a new tire. "really" then what's the warranty for. If you are a women make sure you take somebody with you that knows about cars. I've never really cared about this place from day one. So upset about this.
