Great service! Picked up debris on a long trip that punctured a tire and were not familiar with tire repair places in the area. They were able to get us right in, patched up, and on our way quickly. Definitely recommend!

Needed a tire repair on a tire I had under warranty. I came in at 6PM, and George had me fixed up and back on the road in less than 45 mins. The whole team at this store (Bardstown Rd by Costco) is friendly and helpful. I always feel good about bringing my truck here.

Very professional. I walked in the single woman thinking my starter was messed up and because of their honesty they told me my starter was not messed up. They could ve definitely gotten me for more money, but did not. Thank you so much for being honest.

They stole my spare tire, in order to assure that I had to buy a replacement tire. I reached out to management without response. They claim they don t have cameras. How convenient. Go somewhere else!!!

5 star for this people, yes. I had a great experience last Saturday. We were driving all city looking for a tire for our Camaro 2018 and no shop have it till next Monday. But only in this shop we found a nice lady that talks with interest to my son and offers to us another kind of tire that can be fixed in our car. The both mechanic that care about our car were very special people. Talking to us in a really good manner and with patience. All these people care about clients.Every one of them talk to us slowly and trying to make us understand every word. And the young mechanic guy was very trustworthy with us, he explained our car needed a wheel too but they didn't have it and almost by 5:30 pm we cameback with the part and he nicely placed the part in our car. Nice people, trustworthy, transparent, and helpful.

Had a 7:30 appointment for 4 new tires.. got there at 7:25am and there was a mechanic sitting out on his bike by the front doors. At 7:50 I asked if anyone was gonna show up to open. Was told the person overslept.. at 8:10 I left. No one even bothered to call me and apologize and try to reschedule my appointment time:.. so I will not be back. Very disappointed

I took my car to Ken Towery's Tire & AutoCare located at 3421 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218 because it broke down right in front them. I was received by manager Kendra Hayley on October 3rd. Two days later, they called me to inform that the car was ready. I paid them $870+. However, on the way home, the car overheated again and they had to retrieve it themselves. I contacted the manager via call and text, but always received the same response: the car is still overheating. Later, the manager wrote to me and informed that the fan had broken and that it would cost an additional $480. She also mentioned that they had tried to contact me earlier but couldn't reach me. When I returned to get my car after paying more than $1200, the receptionist charged me and informed me that they had not been able to fix it due to another problem in the engine. The mechanic outside told me (not in a nice way) that he had nothing to do with it and that this situation belonged to Kendra (the manager). They had de car The fact is that they charged me a lot of money for unnecessary things and didn't fix my car at all. They had the car in the shop for more than 20 days. To make matters worse, they gave me an invoice in the name of a certain Jaime Perez and his telephone number. They had changed all their contacts and papers. That workshop is a real disaster. I feel cheated.It turns out that a real mechanic, not one of theirs, checked my car and what they have is the gasket inside the engine. They changed everything else in the workshop, blindly, looking to see if they could find what they had. I do not recommend this workshop at all. They are going to take your money and they are not going to repair anything. They are incompetent as mechanics, but very good at charging for bad work.

Absolute clown show. Arrived at 9:15 for an oil change. 1 other car in the shop.They logged the wrong engine in the paperwork so it took them until 10:45 to figure out what filter they needed. Now it's 11:10 and it turns out THEY DON'T HAVE OIL! This is of course after they drained my vehicle so I can't leave until they get some. Out at 11:36.They didn't charge me for it which I guess barely pays for my time but doesn't do anything for messing up my schedule today.What kind of auto shop runs out of oil? Maybe that happens, but what kind of shop doesn't figure it out until 2 hours after they start the oil change?

UPDATE: Their insurance gave me my cars worth after it was totaled out I reached out to see if ken Towerys wanted to help as the only reason I had to get a new car was because of them. I have yet to hear anything from her a simple no or anything would be better than flat out ignoring someone who couldve died because of your company's mistake.Had 2 tires blow out and had them replaced here. I normally always use this Ken Towerys for all my tire issues but never again. Made it maybe 5 mins down the road and my tire fell off my car at 35 mph car smacked the ground hard as my tire went across all Lanes of traffic hitting a parked car after jumping the curb and stopping on the sidewalk. So glad a 18 wheeler was in my way from getting onto the on ramp where I could've died or had I made it to my destination and picked up my kids and this happened on the way back on the highway we all could've died. I normally don't bash or give bad reviews but my life and my kids lives were potentially put on the line by the carelessness shown here. They are rectifying the situation with repairing the car and refunding my purchase as well as repair the ladies car that was hit by my run away tire and fixing my car, as well as providing a rental car however that doesn't make my car run like this has never happened. Or make me feel safe having work done here or by any mechanic really. My car may never run the same again even after the repairs.

I initially came in on 10/11 to get a quote on new rear brakes and rotors. The price was about the same as everywhere else I went and everyone was very nice and explained everything to me. I came back at 10:30 today and was told previously that replacing my brakes should take about 2 hours. It's 2:04 and I have been here for almost 4 hours. Apparently I need a new caliper and now I'm waiting. The manager hasn't came out to give me a price on the part nor an ETA on when the part will be here. You all need to communicate with customers when they are waiting excessively for repairs. I would've dropped the car off if knew I was going to be waiting this long.

Called and called, no one answered the phone. Stopped in, no one at the front desk. Asked someone in the shop and he told me to talk to the woman at the desk. Waited 5 minutes for her to come out from wherever. Finally left and went elsewhere.

Dropped my car off for an oil change and tire patch. No info after 5 hours of waiting, only to have to call THEM to tell me that they weren't going to be able to do it that day. So wasted my only off day when they could have told me much sooner.

Went to get a tire plugged yesterday & have rear brakes checked. The technician had my rear tire off and didn't check my brakes. The lady asked him again to check my brakes. The technician spent almost 90 minutes checking my brakes and plugging my tire. My husband went to see what was going on about an hour in and the technician is watching videos on his phone and putting my tire back on with one hand. The technician then finally finishes, the lady didn't charge me for the plug due to my experience. Then he gets out my car and tells me the beeping noise it makes when backing up is annoying. Well, at that point I didn't hesitate to let him know my level of service from him was more annoying. I will never go back.

Robin, the store manager, is nice, as are all of the employees here. However, I can't exactly recommend this store. They rotated a tire with a nail in it and a slow leak, and told me I didn't need to replace it--I assume because they only inspected the tread. I appreciate the attempt to save me $ (though they did try to sell me a brake job instead), but it backfired. Consequently, I had to go back again 3 days later for the leaking tire too. The tech was super nice, said he could patch the nail hole, and did so for free! Perhaps, they should not give you the illusion of an appointment, when this appears to be a first-come-first-served business. My 1st visit took nearly 4 hours, and I'm typing this on my 2nd visit at the 1.5 hour mark past my appointment time in this sad, little lobby. Robin did give me free road hazard for my 4 hour wait (nice!), but many places include that in the price of the tire. In short, if you can afford it, pay for a 1 year Costco membership instead and go across the street. At least they have couches to sit on. But, if you're pressed for $, this place might be easier on your wallet.

They fixed my flat tire and kept my spare. I reached out to get it back and they said they gave it to another customer by accident. They never replaced it and customer service was trash when we tried to get them to replace it as well.

Came in last minute before closing, Kendra was the absolute best. Broke everything down for me and assured me that the fix will get done in time. Took the time out of her day to see everything through and went above and beyond expectations. Will return for new tires and any other tire needs.

I had multiple experiences with them the last few weeks and my husband and I couldn't be happier. They went out of there way to help us with our vehicle. They helped us with our warranty company. They got us back on the road in a fast manner. We will continue to get our vehicle worked on here. Very polite and friendly staff and communicated everything to us

Very happy with their service!They were able to get me in almost right away, and got to my car on time.Robynne (store manager) explained her recommendations to me clearly and politely, despite my notable lack of expertise in cars.Ken Towery is very good for maintenance and check ups for your car. Robynne's team kindly changed direction after I remembered a second thing that my dealership said needed help.It is worth pointing out that the appointment itself did take about an hour, if I'm remembering correctly.They charged nothing for the recommendations and inspections.I will definitely come back.

The shop and the customer service area is very clean. There is a lack of what looks like management I've been here 3 hours now and only 1 Technician in the shop and the manager is doing everything else but the work. Thanks you for The gentleman working hard on my truck.

Wow! We are so thankful for the amazing people in this shop! From the phone call on the side of the interstate (with a blowout) to when we drove away from their shop with a truck that could safely get us home to northern WI, everyone was SO kind and helpful! They carefully assessed our situation, offered options for repair, and searched for the best deals for our situation! They saved us and we were able to get home safely! It was a really great experience and we just so grateful for Joel and his staff!

Went for preventative maintenance on my work truck today and everyone else was drop it off and we might get to it today. My line of work I have to have my truck as I'm on call 24/7. They got me right in and was done in 30 minutes and I was on my way. Service advisors were very polite and friendly. Spoke to us as soon as w e walked in the door which speaks alot.

They will never patch a tire for you. I m pretty sure they don t even have the equipment to do so. I ve been here twice for a patch and each time they ve told me I needed new tires. I got the new tires and the issues were not resolved and my car came out with MORE PROBLEMS THAN IT CAME WITH. It s full of younger guys who have no experience and Robin the store manager doesn t know anything about cars. I would absolutely stay away from this place at al costs.

After calling a couple places that were honest and said they were really busy I called Ken Towery because I knew they had a larger capacity so I might get lucky as far as availability. In fact the guy on the phone said they would have no problem getting me a quote. When I got there he told me that 2 appointments had canceled and I would certainly get a quote if not the service that day. That was before 9 AM, I hadn t gotten any word at 6 when they close. The next morning I called as soon as they opened. They had never even looked at my car. The same thing at noon. When I asked the guy on the phone to Judy simply tell me yes or no to the question had they even looked at it. He went off on me complaining about how busy they were. 2 hours later he called me and gave me a quote of $1775 for my radiator!!!! I went and got my car and went to Goodyear that is usually a little higher then other places. I took it the next day. They finished a few hours later. Paid $533. Not only did they try to charge my more then $1200 more but they wasted my time!!!

If you are every traveling through or living in this area I highly recommend them. I was traveling this week by myself with two children had to change tire on interstate. Immediately started calling tire dealers so I could replace tire and continue on my way. I called 9 other places before calling Ken's. He was my tenth call I explained my situation, mine is a tire not kept in stock. He didn't have the tire at his location but called another location of theirs and checked with them. They had the tire he offered to get the tire and have me meet him back at his location or continue to the other location which was closer for me. After nine other phone calls he made a bad day extremely better.

Went up there wed. oct 26th 2022.. Needed my wifes tire patched.I live close by so went home. They call me 2 hours later and tell me I needed flushes of my power steering and radiator. I said no , I just want my tire patched. After not hearing from them for another 2 hours I walked up there and they tried to charge me $400 for the flushes. I told them I did not ask for that and I am not paying for it. I just want my tire patch. He kept trying to get me to sign for it and I wouldn't. He finally relented and said he misspoke and they were just estimates. I asked how much for the tire patch and he said it was free. He still tried to get me to sign for it and I would not. I asked for my keys and got them. When I looked at my tire I could see a nail still in the tire so they obviously never looked at my tire they just reinflated it. THEY ARE A HUGE RIPOFF. Think the guys name was scott. Watch out for him.

Went to Ken Towery on Bardstown Road yesterday morning (3/30/2023). Was there at about 7:30am. The posted hours showed they opened at 7:30 but no one was there. I stood by the door until after 8:00am and no workers showed up the entire time I was there. There were other customers that came wanting their car worked on but left because no employees had showed up. After 8:00am I gave up waiting and went to Goodyear Tire instead. If Ken Towery wanted my business, someone would have shown up.
