Jay went above and beyond to help us! We showed up 15 mins before closing with a flat tire on our rental car and the team stayed late to ensure that our tire was repaired and we were able to get safely back on the road. Best customer service we've received across any business! Those guys are the best! Our deepest gratitude to the team at Ken Towery and to Jay in particular! Thanks so much!

The staff was honest which is much appreciated. They made the changes to the brakes. I did wait 4 hours while I was there but I think that was due to some miscommunication. What I like the most was the ease of making the appointment.

We discovered my tire had a screw in it. Easy fix. The website indicated they are open on Sunday, but they didn't answer the phone. We were headed out, so my husband removed the tire and headed there anyway. He entered to find someone sitting in there. He told my husband he might get to it tomorrow. Pet Boys took care of it in 10 minutes. Enough said.

It was a cold day in January 2024. I just left my house to head to Nashville. I hit a curb and started crying. Tire went flat immediately. Pulled into KT around 11 am on Saturday morning. I thought rim was destroyed. nope. Hub cap was fine too. Tire was replaced in an HOUR! No wait to start the job. I was on my way an hour later. This set my weekend off right! They were so understanding and so nice. Thank you!!!!

Have to give a GREAT BIG SHOUT OUT to the Ken Towery in St. Matthews (across from Oxmoor Mall). I arrived at 5:33pm (they close at 6) with a loud clunking sound coming from one of my tires. They found a huge bolt sticking out of the tread of one tire and another nail in a second tire. They stayed 30 minutes past closing to get my tires repaired. They said they were happy to do it since the tire could have blown at any moment. Thank you Jay, Alex, and Dave for making my entire weekend. You have a new customer now!

If you re ever in Louisville in Middletown and need some automotive work done. This store on Shelbyville rd by Oxmor is top notch and I d recommend this store to anyone. Do not bother with the other one by Dairy Queen he don t know s@&t. Sorry for the language but it is what it is.

Extremely unfriendly and poor customer service. We arrived within the window that our confirmation email said and the man refused to service our car. Very unprofessional. Went to a different location and had a very positive experience.

Very polite young man went out of his way and stayed open late to fix a flat tire diring a rainstorm in the dark. He couldn t have been more friendly or accommodating. thanking all right figure out how to send it God for him this evening.

Ken Towerys Corporate office does not help with anything! I don't even understand why they have a corporate office when all they say is that they have to contact the district office to help me. I've been waiting for some assistance for 2 weeks now and the district manager David doesn't help since he really covers the Ohio district, and since I'm in Kentucky he can't really do much like rent me a car. I told David and Corporate that my car was in a dangerous condition to drive due to the mechanical work that was done by Ken Towerys at the Cane Run Rd location. As of today Corporate nor the Ohio district manager has called to ask me the status of my vehicle, and if I still needed a rental car due to the check engine light being on, and now I can only assume that something else is now messed up on my vehicle. I will NEVER recommend anyone to go to Ken Towerys, and this has been the worse experience ever. I would like all my money back that I've already paid for the Bad service to be returned, plus all the Uber and car rental fees that I've incurred.

I arrived for my 1:00 appointment. I told the man at the front desk I was there for my appointment. He laughed at me and said he doesn t go by the online appointments but he could squeeze me in for an oil change in 4 days ..never going back there again. What s even the point of a reservation system if you are going to add 4 days to the wait time on arrival?

My sister have I have used this location since moving to Louisville in 2010. We have always been treated well, and our cars always came back to us in tip top shape. We never felt penalized by the "skirt tax" (extra $500 just for being female) and have always been treated like we weren't stupid just because we are girls. I highly recommend this location. We're moving back home to wV in a couple of months and this is one of my regrets, having to leave a great mechanic.

HORRIBLE SERVICE !!!MANAGER LIED AND SAID HE HAD TO PULL SOMEONE OFF WORKING ON MY CAR AND IT WILL BE READY IN 45MINS, STILL NEVER RECEIVED A CALL FOR PICK UP. THEN WHEN I ARRIVE 2 HRS LATER THEY STILL HAD NOT TOUCHED MY CAR. ITS BEEN THERE SINCE 845AM FOR AN OIL CHANGE!! HORRIBLE & NEVER WIlL I return!

I have never in my life wrote a bad review. I am extremely upset with my service at ken towery. After leaving the establishment after an oil change and alignment. I go to start my car I noticed it sounded a little rough but said whatever I needed to get home. So when I got home I popped the hood and my oil cap wasn t even put on, oil had splashed everywhere. Who knows how much wasted oil I lost on the ride home. I called ken towery, they told me to come back? What to wipe down my engine and put the cap back on? No thanks! Just beware, make sure your cap to your oil is properly put back on!

I am a truck driver and was out making deliveries today when one of my tires ended up coming off the rim. I was right up the road from this location so I figured it wouldbe worth a shot. The store manager and technician Chuck took care of me! Got my tire back on the rim and aired it up and had me rolling on my way! Great guys saved my day!

Only one tire had gone flat. Was told it was from dry rot and that all four tires had It. Told them I couldn t afford to spend a lot of money on tires. I asked what the least expensive tire they had for my car. What a coincidence that they just happened to not have that one in stock but they did have one that cost quite a bit more. They knew they had me over a barrel. Ended up cost over $800. Talk about taking advantage of someone in a difficult situation!DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS. THEY HAVE NO ETHICS.

Update 3: Theresa never called me back after a week.. bunch of scumbags. 100% satisfied my butt, Theresa you're just as fake and a liar like the rest of the people at Ken Towery. DO NOT SHOP HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.Update 2: called into the phone number below from Theresa, went to voicemail, not surprised. I called into customer care after I explained what happened, zero apology, he felt that the shop did nothing wrong after they conned me into buying a tire, after I told them in the first place there was fix a flat spray in it. Corporate Ken Towery is shady and crooks just like this store. DO NOT DO THIS TO YOURSELVES AND GO TO KEN TOWERY.Update 1: I called their corporate customer care, it turns out that putting fix a flat in the tire, it's policy to not be able to patch the tire. This even angered me even more, I told these liars I put fix a flat and they still insisted that they might be able to repair the tire which is lie! They knew from the start they were going to scam me! .. con artists here.. Enrique Sanders is the area manager for this location, found him on LinkedIn.. Enrique, this needs to stop..LIARS AND THIEVES, DO NOT GO HERE! They are shady and only looking to upsell tires.I had a nail stuck on the top of my tire which was slowly seeping air out. I stopped in a gas station to get a Fix-a-flat spray can to seal the hole so I could go to an important meeting. Then I went here bc it's close to my office. Worse decision.. They said that they couldn't patch my flat bc there was fix-a-flat sprayed in the tire. I've had a couple of instances where I had to use fix a flat spray and a tire place was able to patch it for me no problem. These theives said that according to DOT KY it's against law and said all this BS also stating that the can says it too where if you spray fix a flat, it'll completely ruin the tire which doesn't say that, check the picture of the can. So much BS.. My coworker went to this same place after me complaining about them and she said that they made her change out all of her tires after having one nail in One tire bc they were All-Wheel drive.. These people are liars and do not go here.. Hey Liars- Show me where it's against the law to patch up a tire with fix a flat sprayed in it!!! Bunch of liars and scammers.. never again.. and I hope they don't do it to anyone else.. unfortunately, I had no choice but to buy a new tire bc I didn't have a spare.. they put me in a corner saying that they can't risk the cars on road if they patched my tire, that i need to buy new tires.. These guys are slimy.. Also when the job was done my rims were all dirty and the right PSI wasn't in properly.. LIARS AND THIEVES!!!

I felt like they should have mentioned installation prices. They unknowingly gave me Advanced Installation Package that includes Lifetime Rotations of the tire without asking me if I wanted it. Aside from that it was a good experience, just feel like i could of saved $100 if they asked me

Monday July 10th I ran over a busted tire fragment on the Watterson and it broke my heat shield. Luckily I wasn t far from Ken Towery. They got me right in and took off what was left of the heat shield so I could be on my way. They were the nicest people to work with. Unfortunately I don t live in Louisville but I can guarantee that if I ever need anything in Louisville they will be my go-to. Thank you guys so much for saving my day! God bless you all!

About 5 years ago I came here and had a bad experience. I ended up here today because it was the only place that had what I needed and the availability. I've had a great experience this time. I'm very happy with the service and this store was the only tire place on this part of town that had my tire and I didn't need to wait for an appointment.

I dropped my car off for an alignment and oil change. They called to inform me that I needed two new tires. I chose to look for them elsewhere and proceed with the oil change only. I called and they informed me my car was ready. On the way to pick up my car they said due to miscommunication they had replaced and aligned my tires and would only charge me $450. They preformed a service I didn t request and tried to charge me for that service. I then had to wait for them to take the new tires off my car and put my old tires back on. I understand people make errors but they should have made this right and accommodated for my time. To try and charge someone for work they did not agree to is absurd. Be cautious!

Show up at my appointment for a new tire. They did not have it. Gentleman behind the desk said they would have it in 20 minutes and then they would put it on. This started at 830 and my car was still in parking lot at 1007. I ended up at home by 11. I would have left my car there if I knew it was going to be 2 hours

Came in for air and a possible tire repair because of a suspected leak. Time estimate given was 45 minutes to 1 hour. After an hour I asked for just air top off and they said sure pull it up to the door at which point it was discovered that they were unable to reach the stems on rear tires of a dually. Could have saved me an hour just by engaging the brain and realizing that you can't air up dually tires. Additionally just sitting there in the waiting area for an hour watching business I realized that there's really not much of a sense of purpose. Nice people but not really customer oriented.

Since I was going out of state, I got new tires for a long trip. Leaving the lot, I hear a scraping sound. They say it's nothing and take a look. Nothing. I leave. About an hour into the trip, I hear scraping get worse. I scraped for days until no scraping was to be heard. Yup. You guess it. They'll change your tires but won't or can't inspect your break pads. "There is no way we could have seen your break pads while we were changing your tires," according to them. I had to get new break pads and new rotors. Ask someone else to inspect your pads bf tire changes.Edit* I called your number and no one is attending. Feel free to call me back. Left number on voice-mail. And the manager at KT already knows my concerns.

I had a nail in my tire and it was going flat fast. I pulled into Ken Towery 10 minutes before they were about to close. They took me right in and fixed it quickly. The best service I've had in a long time. The fellas were all nice and helpful. Will visit again for services.

Jay the manager is a con man, he wanted to replace my axle and fully price it, when I asked for a quote he claimed he never looked at my car (he tried to CON me when we looked at it together).I've bought tires for 30 years from this store, so happy that they treat loyalty with FRAUD!

Not the best I should recommend. I have bad experience. May be some might have had good experience.I am changing the review back to 4 because even though service was good , 1. I failed to understand what they did was sufficient. I thought they should have looked into this and that . But my perspective is wrong. I come to know this after I went to other mechanic shop and they did the same and said the same.2. I feel they could have communicate with me better.

I want to thank Sean and the service tech, sorry don't know his name, for helping me with my slow leak on my tire. I really appreciate the hard work and trying to help me with the tire. They explained the issue and even did a service check on my brakes and tires. Not to many places still take the effort to help even though no purchases were made. It's nice to know that there are still good people that will help. I might be checking back with them regarding tires and brakes for m 2013 Chrysler 200. Again thanks there are still good people..
