Called this exact location after a quick google search, said they could diagnose my car and we settled on a time. Went to the store, said they couldn t do it & questioned me on whether or not I called this location (dumb because I had work done at this specific location before) I was told I would have to make an appointment. Proceeded to move forward with that and request dropping the car off in the afternoon, so it could be DIAGNOSED and not worked on because at this rate I was unsure of pouring money into the vehicle, then was told I would have to wait until Friday to get it done. Absolute insanity, better off finding a local shop.

My brakes were making an awful noise and I didn't know what to expect. Called Ken Towery yesterday and they said they could get me in right away. Tyler helped us out, he was very informative and professional. He made sure I understood what my brakes were doing, even showing me with a demonstration. He called me a couple times during the day with updates, keeping me informed. My car is working great, I really appreciate this guys.

I have been a customer at this location for over 20 years. And today, you have permanently lost me as a customer. I had front brake pads and rotor replaced at this location about a year ago. It started shaking not too long after the brake job. I have been back to get this fixed three time and every time, there is a new person and each one came up with some thing to fix and end up not fixing the vibration problem. I went to a Honda dealerships to get this checked and they said the rotors need to be turned. But the Ken Towery shop keeps pushing out fixing the rotors until the one year warranty expires. What a disgraced way to do business!!! Hit the one star button by mistake. It should be a ZERO star!!!

Great service and decent prices on their merchandise. Had to get a new tire on a Sunday evening when most other places were closed. They took me in and got my tire changed/balanced in less than 15 minutes.I had to update my review after 3 years. Went in today last minute as my wife is driving a long road trip and I needed new tires immediately. Doug answered the call and told me "We close in 15 minutes but we'll stay open for you guys." That spoke volumes to me. Anyone else we called told us nope, sorry. Doug too great care of us and got us 4 brand new tires and an alignment when they should have been closed. I'm not advocating going to any business with an hours' worth of work when they close in 15 mins, but this was a last minute emergency and these guys pulled through for us. Absolutely incredible experience. Thanks guys!

Came here for a leaking tire that a different place said wasn't fixable. It had a tiny leak but they took the time to find and fix it for a decent price.

Came in for brake service, I was content waiting as I was quoted 2 hours for the change of rotors and brake pads, however, this ended up being a 6 hour endeavor.Everyone here is nice, they mean well, but they communicate horribly. I was told two hours, yet every hour they just came up to me, telling me oh they re getting it back together now and no matter how much I asked for a time, they wouldn t give me one. I would ve paid for an Uber had they just been honest and up front with me, they told me it was taking awhile because of an issue they found, yet when prompted there was no issue. Just the run around. Waste of a day waiting, and I was beyond late to the plans I had made for the afternoon. No discount, no feasible explanation. I used to suggest Ken Towery s, but you re much better off elsewhere with how many options there are for car service. Definitely the most ridiculous experience I ve ever had with car maintenance. Do better!

I have taken so many trucks to this place and I don t know why. They forget so many things I ask them to do every single time without failure. Check this, rotate that, is this ok? All forgotten requests. Every time I go there, there is a total staff turnover. Bad service.

Great experience with Doug and his team. We had battery issues with my wife s car and he was willing to take care of it quickly. Additionally, I needed a patch in one of my tires and they took care of it without any wait and hesitation. Subsequently, we were able to get 4 new tires for my wife s SUV at very competitive pricing. Doug is genuine and honest. Thank you for the excellent service.

I had a tire leakage and called some of the tire repair locations. They all had the appointments available one or two days later. I can't wait that long to drive from Louisville to Lexington tomorrow. Then I happened to call this store and the manager just let me drive in and help repair it. They were super nice and professional. Done after 15 minutes. I strongly recommend this store.

One of the best car places in Louisville. I came in last minute and they got me in right away. They are quick and do an awesome job! On top of the they have an awesome staff and amazing customer service! I would recommend this place to anyone and will most definitely be returning for any further car troubles! Make sure Doug Meadows is there when you go, he helped me tremendously and will get you taken care of!

I would recommend the shop to any and everyone. With prompt, kind and effective communication from Ryan I understood everything that was being done to my car and given a great rate. First time customer. I live in the area and checked 6 different stores before deciding to come here to get my battery replaced. Not only was the price was better than most but they also waved off the diagnostic fee to look at a noise my car was making.They replaced the battery in no time, gave an 18 month replacement warranty, found the cause of noise, fixed it for no charge, and applied a coupon without me even asking.When I got my car back, I saw they had also fixed another item that I knew about previously but had forgotten to mention to them, for no charge.Thank you Ryan! Definitely a repeat customer here from here on

First time here, I live up the street so it was convenient to be able to walk back home. Staff is so polite and they are very quick. Took maybe an hour or less to identify what was wrong with my air and get new parts installed. Definitely will be back anytime I need anything done for my car. Great service!

I can not express my gratitude enough! The employees of this location provided me with friendly, straight-forward, and genuine service. I had no idea how bad my tires were until I saw the nails that were pulled out of them. They offered me repair options at an incredible price. The repairs were made quickly and I was back on the road in no time! I'd go back again, no question.

Had the best experience here! Went in twice this week & received excellent customer service. First I went in with a nail in my tire that I was told at another location couldn t be patched and that I needed a new tire. I went to Ken Towery and not only did they say they d patch it, but when I came back the tire didn t even need a patch. The nail wasn t through the tire. Then on Friday I went in to get my AC looked at and once again was given top notch service, honesty about what was NEEDED on repairs and my car was ready before promised. Overall a great a experience! The manager Doug and his crew are doing a great job!

If you need service...GET HERE!!!! The team is great: Personable, polite, down to earth, and professional. They found the problems with my vehicle that NEEDED to be fixed, not "needed". I don t post many reviews for companies unless the service is superior or outright terrible. Todays interaction at Ken Towerys was a 10/10, more like 100/100. From the moment I entered, the three gentlemen working were welcoming and extremely friendly. Mark, Brandon, and Chase reviewed tires on my daughters car and wife s car. They were honest in their assessment and never pushy. They valued their job and it showed with the service delivery we received. For any of your tire needs, please visit the Ken Towerys in Middletown and say hi to Mark, Brandon, and Chase.

My friend recommended that I take my car to this Shelbyville Road location for the routine 30,000 mile maintenance. In the past I ve taken my cars to the dealership for routine maintenance. So I was a little hesitant taking it here. My fears were immediately lifted as I was greeted by the store manager Doug and Mike who was also at the front desk. They assured me that my car was in good hands. I was very happy with the turn around time and the service I received.When my sons older car had engine trouble this is the first place we turned to for repairs. We met the technician who explained the problem and was able to fix it for a reasonable price.

Brandon is a fair and Honest Manager he deserves 5 stars, but the corporate company Monroe and their customer service department does not. The corporate company has poor customer service relations and stands firmly when the problem was misunderstood communication and unfortunate poor management and documentation.We appreciate Brandon in our very difficult situation that he was placed in along with us by the previous management. Without going into detail about our ordeal he was very considerate unlike the parent company Monroe. Specifically Mackenzie who in our opinion was rude and insulting in a conversation about resolve of our issue. Thankfully Brandon saw through the situation and help us with a fair deal. Thank you Brandon and we wish you the best of luck! The customers are lucky to have such a manager in charge just hope you never have to go to the corporate level for anything!THE STARS ARE FOR BRANDON NOT MONROE THE PARENT COMPANY.

I meant to write a review on behalf of my parents experience this past spring but failed to do so until today when I popped in for an oil change. This is by far the best experience I have had to date at any oil change business, including other Ken Towery s.My elderly and physically limited parents were visiting from Texas and popped in due to a tail light being out. My Dad said they changed it complimentary for him and said safe travels. I couldn t believe that they showed such excellent customer service for them when they didn t have anything else done! I was so grateful that they were not taken advantage of as many other places could have.This experience is why I chose to come to them today for a simple oil change. I have been going to another Ken Towery location for years but as of late have not had the best of experiences. I too was greeted and treated with the best customer service by Mike! Quick service but also no unnecessary up-selling ...ok maybe some windshield wipers but I believe I really did need them. I will be back and highly recommend them!

Had a wonderful experience with this location and the manager, Doug Meadows. We were in town for a wedding and our car wouldn't start. We jumped the battery and went to this location. The tester read it was our alternator. We have a 2016 Honda CRV. We shouldn't need an alternator. Doug called the local Honda dealership for us to see if it was covered under a warranty. He spent a lot of time on the phone on our behalf. He found out it was covered under warranty. He charged up our battery so we could make it to the dealership. He didn't charge us anything. We made to the dealership there safe and sound. Doug even called us the next day to see if we were able to get our car repaired! He really went above and beyond to help us out. We truly appreciated it!

Received and oil change and tire rotation today. Will need tires soon and will definitely come back to this location. Doug and the rest of the staff are knowledgeable and provide great customer service. Keep up the ab fab work!

We had a excellent experience with Mike and Doug on Shelbyville Rd. They were honest, helpful and even matched a Groupon for an alignment from a local competitor. The competitor said we needed tie rods and said it would be over 300.00. Mike and Doug has mechanic to look at and it was determined that the local competitor tried to up sell us. They saved us hundreds and got us in and out in good time on a Saturday thanks Mike and Doug.

These guys are the best! We have lived in Middletown for 5 years now and I wouldn't take our cars anywhere else. It's so hard to find honest people you trust to work on your vehicle without upselling you on something you don't actually need, these guys actually try to save me money if they can! Doug and Mike know me by name and treat me like family everytime I'm there. I can't say enough great things about them, do yourself a favor and use them the next time you need something done.

I ve previously had great experiences coming here. The last time I came in for an oil change, my oil was apparently over-filled. I was smelling a burnt smell under my car and took it in to a different shop who informed me the oil was over filled and it was leaking into my exhaust system. They provided photos as proof. I will likely not return here for service.

I can't tell you how shocked I was that they didn't charge me for a tire repair. I had a huge nail in my tire and they did it for free! This is total outstanding customer service! I would recommend this tire shop to anyone! You don't see service like this these days! Kudos to Ken Towery in Middletown!
