Very nice people and good experience selling my catalytic converters. They checked ID, title, and pictures of the part removal to ensure all was legit. People at the desk and the actual collection center were all friendly and helpful. Their scrap offer matched an online cat purchase site.

The most phenomenal customer service I have ever had!!!! I came in looking for a battery. Patty asked me a few questions to ensure I had the correct battery. Eric took care of the checkout and receipt process. Get to the car... Totally not the right battery because I answered the questions incorrectly!!! Figured out the correct battery, came back, Eric was so amazing again with helping me find the right *right* battery!! Patty confirmed everything was good to go. Swapped out the old battery, and now my car starts like a dream!!! They took care of the old core as well. Patty and Eric were both so helpful and friendly and amazing (even though I'm the one who messed up in the first place)!!!! Thank you so much to you both. Tiffany went above and beyond to help me get rid of my junk vehicle for a great price! The tow truck driver who came to pick it up was also very polite and professional. I would recommend anyone wanting to sell a junk vehicle to do business with GradeA!

Very disappointed. I purchased a part for work van and it worked for 3 months and they didn t wanted to give me a warranty on it before and after it broke down. I spent over $2,000 for it plus installation. I do not recommend this place to do your vehicle part investment.

I don t ever write reviews and this is my second one for anyone but I just want to say that the agent Ruth really went above and beyond in finding me an engine for my car. She took the time to search for one that was a great price with the warranty. I had some hiccups with the money and had to wait longer and she was able to accommodate me, which helped me tremendously. It was so stressful but she didn t make me feel like she didn t care and she replied promptly to my questions and kept me updated on the status. They also informed me I needed a new clutch and was able to get me an amazing price on that too. I finally got my car back yesterday and she drives so good!! Thanks Ruth and your team

I never write reviews. I really felt like I should this time.... Everyone there is kind, happy, and easy to talk to. The agent that worked with me her name was Ruth and she helped me find a diesel engine for one of my trucks. she has the natural ability to understand and feel what customers are experiencing, and she was able to meet their needs effectively.She is really good at following up with the clients so as to ensure that they are never left in the dark. Keep it up!Seriously Grade A Auto Parts going to be the only place I deal with. Keep up the good work.

I called in and spoke with Eric. I had called a few other scrap yards looking for various body panels. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He was very polite and helped me get exactly what I needed at the best price possible. He was able to get me a great deal on a list if parts that I figured would be spending a small fortune on, but mamaged to get everything I needed for under $800. The best part is all of the parts are new and will come ready to paint. Will definitely be using Grade A in the future for all the parts I need and will be speaking directly with Eric. He knows his stuff and went above abs beyond what I was expecting when calling a scrap yard.

I've been dealing with this company since 2006 with scrap metal and other recycling materials and never have I left pissed off because it wasn't worth my time. 40$ ain't much but when you are driving a Honda Civic you can't bring that much in but old wiring from the refrigerators and ovens.

I spent several days having difficulty locating parts parts to repair my daughters jeep after an accident. Every place I contacted either didn't have parts or didn't seem to interested in helping locate them. Then I came across Grade A and was connected to your parts girl Ruth. Thank goodness, she found everything I was looking for, She actually showed concern and put the time in to find the exact matching parts I needed. She was truly dedicated to helping and was a pleasure doing business with.(Unlike most of the other parts places I contacted) I will make sure to refer anyone in need of parts to Ruth at Grade A in Louisville. Had a very great experience at grade A. workers Tiffany and Shanda in building number 8, were very helpful. Explained everything thoroughly and we're all together very professional with their job. Had great attitudes and will definitely be back to scrap here again.

Ordered a transmission and customer paid over $7,000. Waited over a month and never received a tracking number. Called to check on it and they said they needed more info to make sure I got the right transmission. Why didn't they call and ask me? Lost a $7,000 sale. Then ordered a engine for $5,000 and never received it. 3 days after the delivery date we had to call them because they never contacted us, and guess what? They didn't have the engine. They tried to upsell us an engine for $2,000 more. They have a history of taking your money and never delivering anything, then never contacting you as to why.

Life is full of obstacles and misunderstandings and every so often we're all entitled to have technical issues. I'm not going to lie my last interaction with this company before today, I was kind of upset but I took things personally instead of discussing them there. I was trying not to be confrontational. Let me just say that the employees that are working there currently are absolutely amazing and they are like family they consider me family, you family, everyone family!! They're all about respect and they're all about building relationships with their customers. Let's just say they went way above and beyond to prove how much that company actually cares about its customers and I'm in shock. Every single one of us in our lifetime will have something negative to say about a company somewhere in our lives right. This company proved to me today that it's core values which is their customers and the relationships they have with their customers who they consider family, mean more to them than anything else and they respect us for what we do and the work we do. They understand and actually do care. I'm just going to say this... NEVER, EVER, IN MY LIFETIME...has any one company ever not one made such an effort to prove to me that I do matter and that my opinion matters and my work matters and the appreciation that they truly have for me or you is very important and the very core to their values. They just earned my respect my dedication my trust my future work forever. The group that works there currently are absolutely the "A" TEAM!! I will continue to work hard at making sure I am on point at cleaning and sorting my scrap and never go anywhere else for my scrap. They just earned a loyal customer and all my respect FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!! I will never get caught even looking at another scrap yard. From this day forward until death do us part. I contacted Grade A with the part I knew I needed I worked with Patti Maza she was so helpful and worked hard to help me solve my problems. She s clever and operates with genuine kindness and professionalism. Dealing with issues that lead us to this line of work is stressful enough, and even though there were issues to be resolved Patti made the experience. The lion thinks everyone is in the same condition- (not everyone is in the same mindset) means they understand that ppl coming in thier office are dealing with an unfortunate and frustrating situation they work tirelessly to to resolve.Patti and another young woman in the office were a pleasure to talk to and work with. Please extend my sincere gratitude to these wonderful women on my behalf. I would happily recommend the company and use in any future needs.Best Regards

I had a bit of a time getting an alternator replacement with the warranty I purchased. They did FINALLY come through. What you need to know when you purchase a warranty is that you can't just take it right back and get a replacement, there is a process, .... It will take a few days. When you are getting an alternator replaced they need to know the mileage, the mechanics phone number and address, ect ect ect....before they will APPROVE the replacement and THEN the warranty department will contact you(if you're lucky) and THEN you'll find out WHEN you'll be able to pick up your replacement part. Otherwise, pretty good service

Tiffany is the reason I am giving 5 stars, I would give her 10 stars if I could. I had no idea what I was doing, no idea what the value of my wrecked car might be, what the process is, what I was supposed to bring or do. My car was at Suburban Impound, I asked them to recommend a scrap yard and they said Call Tiffany at Grade A . They even had the phone number memorized. Now I see why. She is knowledgeable without being condescending, helpful, funny and welcoming but you know you re going to get anything past her. I ve been in recruiting for almost 20 years; I would hire her on the spot and pay well over market value for any job she does. Whatever success this place experiences, I would bet dollars to donuts you can trace it back to Tiffany.

I also have to thank the Manager Richard who was always helpful and in good spirits as well. I was sold a bad engine. The stress, money, and hardship this caused has been huge and not over yet. If you buy an engine here, you MUST buy the extended warranty or there's a chance they will dump a lemon on you.UPDATE: The initial replacement engine was bad too, but at least Grade A checked before shipping this time, saving me a trip to Kentucky. The third engine is working fine so far. Between all the delays, travel time, and the natural time an engine replacement takes, I was without a car for 2 months. I was initially offered only $150 to cover the thousands in lost money and time, but then was offered $850 if I agreed to forego my warranty going forward. I was extremely hesitant about this because of the low quality of products I had gotten, but because of the warranty conditions and other reasons I went for the $850. Though this was the worst buying experience of my entire life by many fold, at least Grade A shared in the loss and went behind their warranty for me.Overall: Buying used engines is a big gamble no matter where you buy, so get a good warranty or a new one.
