Excellent service for our BMW M convertible & Audi Q7. Better prices & better service than dealerships. Located in brand new building at end of an industrial street but still close to interstate. They also use the latest digital technology to give work estimates and to approve/deny work items which provides so much info to make informed decisions. So glad a friend referred me here! They even follow up after service to ensure 100% satisfaction

Great place!! Met a couple of the techs in the parking, and it seemed like they were true enthusiest of the car. Felt extremely comfortable leaving my car there. The tech took photos of everything along the way, knowing I'm a bit meticulous about my records. I truly appreciated that for sure!! I was expecting a huge estimate and that was absolutely not the case. The tech fixed the car within the approved diagnostic time with no additional charges!! Very rare these days......highly recommend!!

I had a fantastic experience with GermanTech. I had heard about them many times on social media forums, but never needed to use them. Well last Friday, my 2013 JCW check engine light starts blinking, car not running well. Drove it to nearby auto shop but they were unable identify the issue. Had it towed out to GermanTech late Wednesday. Thursday morning before 9am they had already diagnosed and texted me my quote. Not only were they incredibly thorough and diligent, they were also affordable. Overall it was a great experience and will be back in the future for any other needs. Thanks again GermanTech team!**update- went back in for my brake cap swap next day and they ve once again proven why you don t go anywhere else but here. They caught a bad headlight when replacing brake fluid cap and went ahead and replaced that for me with no additional charges. This is a level of customer service I have never experienced with auto shops. As long as I have a car they work on, they will have my business. Thanks again team, you guys have a great weekend!

I wish I could give them six stars! After the excellent service I received, I will recommend this place to anyone. If you're a Subaru owner in the greater Louisville area, this is a reliable place to consider. Aaron Lancaster is the real deal. All-round respectful and helpful staff. Brad was very pleasant to work with! I felt heard and all my questions were answered. Services are reasonably priced - you pay for the quality of service you get!

GermanTech offers quality technical expertise paired with excellent customer service. I have used GermanTech for both paint work as well as wheel/tire mounting and balancing service, and the attention to detail and care provided in both instances was enough to make me trust their services in the future.

I brought my 2009 BMW 328i xDrive to them for a general inspection, and to inquire about a few things on my car I was unsure of as well as a 4-wheel alignment after I completed some front end suspension work. I brought a reference sheet that I wrote up for them to review and they thoroughly read and addressed the concerns I detailed. As a used car technician myself I'm very familiar with cars, but rarely working on the more complex systems in BMWs I felt it was a good idea to let a shop that specializes in them take an in depth look instead of me guessing, going off of internet forums, and stressing about trying to squeeze in repairs between my work hours. Within the same day that I dropped the car off, they explained the things I was curious about, provided clear photos with descriptions of some things that needed attention and offered a fair estimate on recommended work.In the end, I chose to have them service both my differentials and manual transmission fluid, replace my leaking right front axle seal, extract and replace a broken bolt for one of my motor mount stools, and complete the aforementioned alignment. They had my car ready for me by the end of the day just one day after I dropped it off! I immediately felt improvement in the quality and smoothness of shifting after new fluids, and the alignment feels perfect with my new suspension parts. And also have a few components they showed me that I know to keep an eye on and get serviced in the future. I highly recommend taking your european vehicle to these guys for the peace of mind and excellent service they offer.

I have trusted the care and repair of my BMW to GermanTech MotorWorks since I have owned it. The staff is great, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The same tech, Nathan, works on my X3 every time I take it in, which is very nice. He knows my X3 and answers any questions I have. I love the follow-up texts I get about 10 to 14 days afterward to make sure everything is fine.

VW owner and spent $2000 at dealership to eventually find GermanTech as the only resource I will ever go to from now on. They properly diagnosed the issue (rusted coil spring) that was causing other components in the suspension system in my Passat to fail. They were professional, thorough and competent.Also Bridget is amazing and took such good care of me - she works hard and cares about the customer. Never will I go to another place as long as I own my VW. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !a side note....a dealership rotated my 4 tires last month and in addition to the suspension issues, I began to notice a signifigant vibration when driving over 60. Come to find out that said dealership only put ONE - yes ONE lugnut on the right rear wheel. So I am driving for the past month this way, UNBELIEVABLE. I will never go to a VW dealership - only GERMANTECH...!!!!!hope I got my point across in this review......(smile)

I have had really good experiences here. The communication is quick and transparent, prices are good, and they stand behind their work. Definitely a go to place in Louisville for work on your Euro cars.

Great place to trust your car with. Brought or outback here after the dealership gave what we learned was an incorrect diagnosis. They fixed up our 18 year old good as new. Also, a free loaner car. Would recommend without reservations. The only downside is it is kind of out of the way. Not very visible from a major road. Just follow Google maps.

GermanTech will be the ONLY place I take my BMW moving forward. I was very pleased with the overall experience. Not only were they very professional, but polite and friendly. The customer service is A+ here. The pricing was very fair and the work they performed was excellent. They deliver a great customer experience from start to finish. I was thrown off by the complimentary Uber they ordered for me the day I dropped my car off. As I had never been accustomed to this, I was prepared to order and pay for my own way back home that day. A few weeks after I picked up my car, I received a hand written letter from GermanTech in the mail. This small detail just happened to be a great touch that really shows their thoughtfulness and the care they have for their customers and their vehicles. Great job to everyone here at GermanTech! Thanks for going above and beyond and setting the bar so high!

We recently moved to Louisville and I was looking for a service shop for my classic Mercedes. This shop is fantastic, reasonably priced, great service and communication during the repairs. Complete estimates and communication before any work was performed. I feel like they love the car as much as I do. First of allow, they have a check everything before you buy a used vehicle for around $200. IMHO this is a must so they can discover what expenses will come up as you buy a used vehicle.Ok on to my experience.First time visitor and I was skeptical. (So many 5 star reviews!?)The service and attention over the phone plus the quote and estimate system is very clear and detailed.I knew my car had a major problem as it had no drive power, as expected many things were discovered. It ended up being quite some total ( I agreed to it) and I am sure it was less expensive than dealership and more thorough than other repair places. By mere volume of German cars being serviced here, you can get an idea the expertise they have.The place from outside looks small, but it massive and with an amazingly comfortable waiting area.Brad was my main contact and he was as detailed and helpful as he could be. I did get a light as I was leaving but it was a loose cable that they immediately fixed.The car feels and drives much better now. I will not hesitate to make Germantech my go to service and repair first contact. I cannot be more grateful! Looking forward to keeping my car in good shape with Germantech!

Professional staff: My service request and details were already pulled up for my appointment. The advisor called my extended warranty company to see if any of the work would be covered (some of it was). The waiting room was very clean and comfortable; offering guest WIFI, beverages and snacks. The work was completed in a timely fashion with quality and care.My overall assessment is that this was a great experience and a good alternative from the BMW Dealership. The pricing is fair value and the quality of workmanship will have you back on the road with peace of mind. My business just found a new home.Services: Electrical, Engine repair

What a outstanding indy shop. Took my 7 series there to check the brakes. Checked all 4, didn't charge.Clean, very nice waiting area and super friendly staff. They are on my preferred list. Will definitely be back

The best shop I've ever dealt with, period. Their communication is excellent, always clearly explaining any issues and the options available to you. I bought a fixer upper and without them I would probably be in the insane asylum by now! Other places might say they can work on your import car and they might be "cheaper" but you're going to get what you pay for. Used GermanTech for the first time, and I could not be more pleased with the service. Drop off was fast and friendly. I am a huge fan of the online estimate and invoice system. It is so clear and does not involve a long or pressure filled phone call. Service was done well and within a day. I will be back, but hopefully not too much.

They got my Mini problems diagnosed and fixed very quickly. Super friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Explained what was going on and kept me updated with the status of my repairs. Really like how they can send everything to you via a text message so you know exactly what is going on.Very very very happy with these fine people and won't be taking my Mini anywhere else.

Professional shop, top notch work.Good and Honest customer service.The cost of labor (knowledge & experience) is a little steep. But for the quality of work done and the fact that the vehicles here are luxury models I believe it s fair.

On our trip to WI from TN. We pulled off for gas a couple miles from GermanTech, when we noticed the belly pan on our Audi Q7 tucked under the front end dragging on the pavement.With no tools in the car to remove the pan myself, I googled GermanTech to be the closest garage to have the work performed.What a great choice that was, GermanTech got us right in as we waited in their comfortable waiting area.The techs there took me to the car while on the rack to show me what was now exposed and gave me advice on how to proceed, as well as providing me with a part number for a new pan.They proceeded to wrap the old torn up belly pan in a plastic bag to be placed in the back of the car with our luggage as it was under warranty to be replaced.In a stressful situation, GermanTech came through for us.I would recommend this business to anyone since they took such good care of an out of towner, I would presume as well as a regulat customer.Once again, thank you.Kelly Bieniek
