I have been using Evan's small engine for more than 10 years and I have never had a problem he couldn't fix. If I'm not satisfied I just give them a call and they make it right. Reasonable prices and repair time.

I've used Evans twice now to sharpen my mower blade. The turnaround was quick, the job was done well and the price was appropriate for the work done. This last time the tech noticed the motor was running a tad slow and he adjusted it at no charge, explaining that sometimes the speed governor gets knocked out of adjustment when the mower is used under bushes.

Evans Small Engine Repair has great service at a reasonable price! I took my jet ski there to get winterized and had it back within two weeks! The owner did an excellent job at communicating and updating. Check them out, I promise you will not be disappointed!

My boyfriend took his jet ski here for repair. The process took much longer than promised but after continual pressure, they finally looked at it. They completed over $700 worth of repairs that did nothing to help fix the problem. Turns out it was less than a $100, simple at home fix and these professionals could not even figure that out. They will rush to get the job done and unnecessarily replace parts for an easy check.

I have used Evans on several occasions with exceptional service and recommended them to others. I took a chain saw in on 10-8-19 to get it adjusted where it would stay idling. I was told by the mechanic it would be 1-1 1/2 weeks to get to it. I called on Friday 10-18 and was told he had not gotten to it yet and he was coming in Saturday and she would have him take care of it. I went in on Saturday 10-26 to pick it up and nothing has been done to it. I told the lady to get it and I was taking it. I then told her I would not be back and would tell my friends as well. As I was leaving, the little smart a _ _hole mechanic popped off " what do you you expect me to do, drop everyone just for you". I replied no but he should not tell me one thing then do another. He shouted out " get out of here and if you come back I will call the police'. I said don't worry, I will never be back here. I do not know what had happened to this company but they are not reputable by the lying on a date to get to it not only once but twice.

Terrible service. Don t take anything useful there. Use to recommend to everyone and used for years. Never again. Brought a ski in in the beginning of summer and was told it would be looked at in two weeks. Called every Friday for two months just to get a run around and hung up on multiple times, finally fed up after almost 3 months there and and told them I was getting it and they said it's in the shop now! (August) Cool, took them three hours to unscrew some bolts and call to say they cant work on it. Could have been somewhere else and fixed by now? Not only that charged a couple hundred and didn't even put it back together.

Evans Small Engine Repair is your local go-to for all of your small engine needs! Brady (the owner) did an excellent job of setting me up with a gently used self-propel mower for an excellent price! I would highly recommend giving these guys a call for all of your lawnmower needs!

Great place and great customer service. Mr. Evan s and his team were very transparent throughout the entire process of me dropping off my jet ski, them fixing it, and then letting me know when it was ready. Would highly recommend!

Very disappointed in the rude behavior of the owner - hung up on me when I shared the mower still had the same issue, and it had not been fixed - he had been paid in full. He did not test to see if the original problem had been solved, and did not show that the mower had been supposedly fixed when he returned the mower. Very young and immature owner - I had to work through his father (previous owner) just to get a response. Take your business elsewhere - complaint with BBB was filed.

The place is honesty a JOKE.....took in a blower for repair. Received call that it was ready, went to get it......had NEVER been worked on still wouldn't start just like when it was taken in for the repair. Left with them again and MONTHS later still haven't heard anything from him.........I called today and got a yeah he thinks its ready but not sure......REALLY!!!!!! Don't waste your time or money......find someone else!!!!! Of course we should have know just even pulling into the business....it's a hot mess.

I called them to see if they would take my junk mower, and they told me to bring it in and they'd fix it in under an hour. I said impossible it's locked up from no oil. They had it for 30 min. It runs like new and starts easier than ever. 40 years of experience.

Our mower needed repair for burning oil. They said it would be a couple of days. It took much longer, and then they said it was still going to burn oil and wanted to charge us $60 to get the mower back which was not fixed.

My mower was running bad. I took it here and they had it running great and back to me in just 2 days. Fast, affordable, and friendly service. I definitely will use them again.

Worst experience ever. Do not go here! Dropped off a weedeater and blower to be repaired. Told me two week time frame. Five weeks later I get a random text saying they don t even work on these products anymore. Small engine repair shop that doesn t work on small engines. Tried to pick up one day at 9:20 AM only to find nobody even at work. They open at 9.

Something wrong with push mower. It dies after one or two mows. Sears and other repair places kept saying dirty carb/dirty gas. Every time. Heard good things about this place. Took it in and told them it's running now but will die after about two mows. Told them what others had said. They let it run for an hour, "cleaned" the carburetor, and said there was nothing wrong with it. Told me to buy new gas. So tired of that excuse, but I did buy premium gas for it. $75 bucks they charged. Lasted two mows. Just like I said. So now what. They won't look at it again without charging me again, but they didn't do anything the first time.

Needed my riding mover repaired. Wife called to see if they come to Mt Washington and get a price on pick up and delivery. They said yes and gave us a price. Wife called the day they were to pick up riding mower to see when they were going to be out and they said they didn't serve that area but would and quoted a higher price...didn't show up or call, Wife called to ok the next day for pick and again a no show or call...think I'll pass...

So many companies worry about the four P S of Marketing" (product, price, place, and promotion) that they sometimes forget the 5th P which is people. I recently had been searching for a company to do a makeover on my Scag Zero Turn Mower. They had the fore sight, the knowledge, recommendations, and the ability to understand and answer all my questions. I sincerely believe that if it had not been for the efforts of the owner Mike Evans and his crew, I would not be so satisfied. It was the easiest transaction that I have ever been through, plus you feel like you get good value for your money, rare in these times. Runs and looks like new! I wish your company continued success!

Told them to fix a fuel line they said a couple days a week later I called back and they have been adjusting the carburetor... which I said nothing but the fuel line now it doesn t run properly and they tried to charge me for adjusting my carburetor... will never go back and would advise others to find somewhere else

Took power washer to him that the jack leg out sheperdsville said wasn't worth repairing Evan's had it running like new. Cost was $92.00.

Had my weed eater for 3 months so I went up there to see what the problem was and they said that they couldn't fix it laughing out loud. Horrible service. Avoid at all costs

Rude owner. Repair took forever. They didn t call to tell me it was ready as they promised. Price was way too high for the work done. Never again.
