This place is an awesome shop. They all feel like they are my brothers. John is an guy that only puts top parts in your vehicle. Cheap is not always the best policy. If you want it done right the first time go here.

My mom has always sworn by them and my dad always did too. So when, not even a month after getting my first car, I started having some issues starting, I took it to them.They were quick, diagnosed the problem (signs pointed most likely to a bad starter, but it turns out the battery had bad cells), got me a new battery in it and I m driving it less than 24 hours after dropping it off.I know where to go if I have another problem with my car.

We dropped off our vehicle on a Tuesday. They looked at it Wednesday and repaired it on Friday. I understand it's a small shop, so it can take a few days, but they never called us until it was actually done. We had to call for every update. The worst part, though, was that they quoted a price which excluded labor and the 3.5% surcharge for using a credit card. They didn't indicate these were left off--it sounded like the cost they quoted was for everything. Those are legitimate charges that we're willing to pay, but they should be disclosed as part of the estimate. We ended up paying over 50% more than what was quoted (in spite of the written statement on our invoice that "the amount of the estimate will not be exceeded unless additional work and cost have been authorized by you"). I'll give them credit for trying to be thorough in making sure they found the problem, but the slow service, lack of communication, and misleading price quote will keep us from going back.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Last Christmas after the intense cold caused my pipes to burst, no plumber was available in my little town for a week. Instead of waiting the week with no water and its attendant problems, I decided to drive 3 hours away to stay at my daughters house in Louisville. When only 7 minutes away from my daughter s house, the Check engine light on my 2000 Honda CRV came on and was blinking indicating a serious problem. I bought a Code reader which gave the code as P1003 i.e. misfire in cylinder #3. Realizing it was serious I desperately searched for a repair shop. The reviews I read on Davis were encouraging; Johnathon and his workers were indeed helpful. They changed the plugs, distributor and wires but that did not solve the problem. Johnathon explained that it was more serious, probably requiring a head job which would be expensive and time consuming having to use a machine shop etc. or, I may even need to replace the entire engine!Thankfully he charged me only for the labor and not for the parts because the parts didn t solve the problem. Luckily at the end of the week I was able to limp back to my mechanics 3 hours away. They confirmed Johnathon s assessment. It took several months but after doing the head job and changing 4 burnt exhaust valves ( probably caused by a faulty valve Lash setting which may occur with wear in Hondas due to the absence of hydraulic lifters) were completed, my 2000 CRV is working fine again! Just wanted to compliment Johnathon and his crew for not taking advantage of me at a time when I was desperate for help but instead chose to be honest and transparent while dealing with this serious engine problem.Greatly appreciated and thanks so very much!!!Best wishes to you and your auto repair shop for continued growth and success!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Good at what they do and don't try to beat people. Some company's/businesses do not understand that if you're good to your customers they will be good to you. Word of mouth goes a long way. I heard about them through a friend. This business is a good example of honesty. Stay honest and your business will always flurish.

You must have patience cause this shop is very busy .I was quoted a 3000.00 dollar for repairs and at this other shop a Davis fixed it For 800.00 dollars so far running fine been about 2 weeks now.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

These guys are great. Today, I had a flat tire on the way to work. Not a great way to start the day. I drove my car to Davis BP Services and they fixed it on the spot at a reasonable rate. They are friendly, fair priced and someone you can trust to take your car too. I highly recommend them if you need your car serviced.

These are some awesome mechanics right here!! They deserve mad credit for their work!! The ECM went bad in my Chrysler last Wednesday. The part came today, and they had my ride going in less than two hours today after I brought them the new part!! How awesome is that? I will definitely use them in the future for my auto needs. Very friendly, excellent communication, and quality work. Good job on my car guys!

My low tire pressure light came on last night. Called first thing this morning and they told to come on over. They checked all 4 tires and aired them up. Told me if it happened again come back and they would check for nails, etc. Said it probably just from the weather. Very nice fellas and they don't make me feel like a 'silly woman' .Service: Tires

Can't say enough positive about Davis Service Center! I'm from Michigan, traveling for work. My shield cover underneath my car was dragging from hitting a wire the night before. They got us in and out in under 10 minutes, we were able to make our meeting on time and super reasonable. Very friendly, can't say enough positive, thank you!!!

Paid 100 bucks for them to tell me something I already knew. Suggested a fix to the problem I was having with the car that would have been the solution to it, and didn't do it / referred me elsewhere.30 bucks and a trip to Auto Zone later, I fixed the problem myself, with the exact solution I gave this shop. I will not be returning.

Took my car in because there was white smoke coming from the tailpipe and it smelled like gasoline. They ran the engine analyzer for a decent price and they said that it was the coil pack. I replaced that and the car was still doing the same thing. After some simple tests that I found online I found out it was one bad fuel injector instead.

This place offers exceptional service at fair prices they have made numerous repairs for me and do it rather quickly they shoot me strait and let me know what is necessary and what is just a good idea to fix and can be down the road and they always do a good job

Give no stars with with my authentic customer name on it . Work done on my car davis bp 1 day later car wouldn't start after left on davis center 2 weeks weeks after work done car here sets undriveable another mechanic shop cause dishonest mechanic didn't do what he should of it
