I recommend Chip's Automotive Service 100% for whoever wants the best car service and repair in Louisville. Chip has taken care of my cars (Jeep, Toyota Solara, and now, Buick Cascada) for 20 years. Chip is honest, fair, dependable, and a true professional. No fancy showroom; just the best car mechanic in town.

Chips automotive is the only shop I would even consider taking my vehicles to for repairs for routine maintenance! Chip has always been honest with me, completed any repair on time and charged a fair price. I've recommended Chips to several people and without fail I'll get a call thanking me! It's just reassuring to have someone that you know you can trust! I can't tell you how important that is to me and Chip has never let me down in 20 plus years!

Chip took care of my car with ease, kindness, and professionalism he changed the oil in my car, rotated the tires, and repaired my cruise control. I will not hesitate to call him whenever I have concerns about my car!

Chip did great. Needed a fuel pump installed. He got to my truck in a quick manner and got it done quick. Best of all ended up being cheaper than initially quoted. To be honest I do all my own work but in the process of moving and it was much easier for me to have someone else do it in this situation. Never would I hesitate to go back to him. Seems honest and does what he says. No complaints. I will be sending anyone his way in need of work, along with any jobs I can't tackle on my own. Thanks Chip!

I took my car into another shop to get the brakes checked. I was told I needed new pads and rotors on all four wheels, totaling over $800. I brought it to Chip's (without giving him any info from the previous place) and he let me know that I only needed rear pads and everything else looked good. Less that $150. This is my new place. You just don't find this kind of honesty and value at most places.

I had all four brakes done, one needed a rotor, and my tires rotated and balanced and he was done in a timely manner and I felt like I was driving a new car when he was done. We are fairly new to the area and it's a good feeling to have found a good, cost effective, honest mechanic. Thanks Chip! You are officially our car Doctor.

Chip replaced two front brake pads and one caliper and hose. I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up that afternoon. I think I finally found somebody I can take my car to who can perform the work needed at an affordable cost.

This place Isn't that our field Kentucky? It's a bona Hill, but the everything is paved. It's billing too. Well planned out any assistance to help you out. Everything's well with plenty of space wheelchair accessibility playing two. Park parking we can if you had a trailer you can turn around in this place. Overall, the prices are good if people are good. It's down in Taylorsville. Kentucky locally-owned found a family on this I would say and that's a good sign there.
