My experience at C&O has been exceptional. The service is impeccable and point on, not to mention helpful and friendly. They serviced my 2003 Mercedes. It was an excellent vehicle until hit by a deer and the insurance company totaled it (salvage and resold, I believe, since I drove it for more than a year after the hit. The insurance company said "great car".) Then when the fuel door to my next vehicle suddenly wouldn't open, (I was at the gas station) C&O was like a friend, there to respond and provide assistance. In short, really good company to do business with on every occasion! M

Tony was fantastic to work with. We had some challenges with our insurance and Tony helped facilitate a fair and reasonable settlement. And, he delivered the repairs as promised and went above and beyond. I'd give him 6 stars if I could.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

I've been coming to C & O for a number of years for many reasons. The two most important are that they are so friendly and accomodating and they do what they say...the first time! I can drop my car off and get it back when I need it. And Joe, Jeannie and Megan are about as nice as it gets! I've never had a problem. They are built with character and integrity in what they say and do. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else and I tell my family and friends the same thing!

I took my SUV in for detailing, body work & to have the transmission & brakes checked. When I picked up my SUV the detailing had my vehicle looking & smelling like NEW! The body work was amazing & I was told I could wait on brakes. The cost was very reasonable & there was no up selling. I highly recommend C & O. Definitely a Business.

Joe, the owner, is a terrific guy who will do everything he can to fix your car right the first time and at a fair price. You might have to schedule major work in advance, but it's worth getting it done here. I can't recommend this place enough for your automotive, body shop, needs

I probably should have written this 30 years ago, not sure why I didn't. I am very picky but reasonable about my own things and what others do for me. Joe and C&O over the past 30 years has done amazing for work for me and everyone I have recommend to them. Joe is very meticulous and very fair. Joe and Jeannie are probably two of the best people I do business with. You can highly trust what they say and do. Best Body Shop in Louisville.

Joe Carpenter always helps find a way to manage costs and get back on the road looking great. After receiving a quote from another body shop that would have resulted in the insurance company totaling my son's car, Joe was able to repair it for less than half the original estimate with it looking better than before the accident. Another time Joe was able to replace multiple panels and paint them for less than another shop wanted for parts alone. Love working with these guys.

Worst repair work ever! They did not fix my 2003 Mini Cooper as the insurance company paid them to do. Instead of repairing my bumper they epoxy-ed it back onto my car and didn't replace the hood hinge but used up to 7 washers behind the bolts to 'realign' the bumper causing the fog lamp to be recessed leaving a 1 1/2" gap instead of being flush . The paint job is horrible. It seems to be OK until it is under the lights at my mechanics shop. It looks like I have meat platter sized rings all over the bonnet of my car. The hood switch was broken in the accident but instead of replacing it they shoved it into the broken bracket and left it hanging. When I brought it up to them they agreed to replace all of the parts, bumper, and repaint the bonnet as well as fix all of the issues. He told me "I'll let you know when the parts are in and you can bring it back over to the shop. We'll get it fixed for ya". Now, mind you that they had my car three full weeks before that to complete the initial repairs. They never called and will not return my calls.

After 5 years of "work" and multiple missed delivery dates, I contacted C&O to tell them I wanted my 73 corvette by the end of 2020, they said it would be complete the first week of Jan 21. It was not, I took the car back on 14 Jan and was extremely disappointed in the condition of my car. I gave them a complete, running car for a minor restoration. They returned to me a partially assembled, non-running car with missing parts. They trimmed my quarter panels, in order to make the side-pipes fit without my knowledge or consent. I will have to replace both quarters. The engine was not wired. The vacuum lines were not connected, check valves and connectors were missing. The radiator expansion tank was not installed or plumbed, it was stuffed under the right fender. The spark plug wires were not connected in the correct firing order. The power steering pump was not connected to the steering rack. There was zero brake fluid in the brake reservoir. The brake pedal was not attached to the master cylinder and the mounting pin and bushing were missing. The HVAC wiring harness was not installed. The heater box was installed with only 1 bolt (4 required) and was hand tight. The lights were all inoperable. The front parking light harnesses were missing. They broke both of my new rear speaker boxes. They broke the driver s side door glass and refused to replace it with the appropriate date coded glass with "Astro Ventilation" marking. The rear glass was lost or broken and they refused to replace it.The car had an Edelbrock carburetor, intake, air cleaner, valve covers, and electric fuel pump, these were not returned to me.They buffed through the paint down to the fiberglass on the left fender. They didn't fill fiberglass pits in the rear facia prior to paint. There are also multiple prominent paint flaws on the hood. I will have to repaint the car. They over-tightened the bolts for the left bumper and cracked the panel.None of the interior was reinstalled. The t-bar chrome molding, window chrome moldings, and weather-stripping was not installed. The steering column was just hanging. In all fairness, C&O is under new management, however the new management had no problem cashing my check but made no effort to resolve the myriad of missing parts or issues.

This dude below me needs to chill.I took my mother's car here to get a giant scratch out. C&O beat out 3 different shops on pricing and delivered everything that we asked for on time. Really good shop and highly recommend to othersService: Body & Trim

Ok, first off I brought my car here to have my quarter panel repaired from a accident. I have full coverage so money was not an issue I just wanted my car repaired the right way, but that was not what I got at C&O to say the least. First Impressions calling them and coming in seemed to be good, but as the date my vehicle was supposed to be done passed and I called to check on the status what I was told from there was lies. A week later I was still calling and had heard three different stories by then because they could not keep up with the lies between the owner and the office secretaries. Needless to say, I get my car back and front the drivers door, rear passenger door, rear bumper, quarter panel and trunk none of them match in color. I called about this problem and they told me to bring it back in a couple weeks, still not the worst problem. My insurance was charged for replacing the quarter panel, trunk, and rear bumper with all new parts "not cheap". But I have the car for 2 months and I noticed cracks appearing everywhere. So I took my vehicle to the dealership and had them look at it, and the response I got from the body shop was horrible,"that's the nice way to put it". They showed me nothing was replaced new, they had slapped bondo on everything including a plastic bumper, and that was why my paint was cracking because the bondo was not holding up in the climate changes. I have never encountered such dishonesty not only to my Insurance company but to me "a customer" as well. I would not recommend this Shop to my worst enemy or to anyone. One thing that disgruntled me when I picked up my car was I heard an employee advise the owner something was wrong on another customer's car and the owner's response, " Oh she's an old lady, she wont notice" that is why my vehicle never went back to be matched on the color, because that response blew my mind, just the sheer disrespect for customers especially an elderly one.

I have used C& O for over 10 years and they have always done a great job for me. They have made suggestions on how I can save money and given me the options before the work gets done. I would highly recommend them!
