Always done me honest, knowledgeable about vehicles and never overcharged.I ve been getting routine oil changes done here for about a decade, also new set of brakes, tires, and other maintenance.They have been honest about when I should head to the dealer instead, and their quotes have always been on par with expectations.

My running car ended up having evidence of rodents chewing on the wires. No rodents in the engine bay. They refused to touch it for 1 month because it was too cold even when it was 60 65 70 degrees. They refused to touch it until someone steam cleaned it but no one would steam clean it because it was too cold (70 degrees). Lost my job because I didn t have a car to get to work when all I needed was a valve replaced but the car was not drivable without it. Thanks Brenzel s!

Stop by a few times to pick their brains on issues with my Jeep. For a non-paying customer for them to take their time out of their busy schedule, and just chat with me and share their experience, knowing that I was gonna go and do it myself means the world most shops will even give you the time of day. They will schedule an appointment and they ll look at it when they get a chance. Will recommend these guys to anybody.

The mechanics at Brenzel are very honest and will not over charge you-- they are always my go-to because I know I will get quality service for a fair price! Can't recommend them enough.

Horrible management, front counter person always tells you your car is not worth fixing, quoted me 6700 for service for shocks struts links and tires, got everything done 1200 at another shop. Took another car for service was told it would get looked at the next day, 2 weeks later car is in the same spot not touched. Treats black customers differently then any other race. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!!

Came in for a break job today!! Dropped the car off and left it there, they gave me a call about 20 minutes later and told me what I needed. Front brakes and had to adjust my rear brakes. They got it done and I was back on the road in a little over an hour. Excellent shop and they don t try to sell you things you don t need done.

The undercarriage cover under my car was hanging low. I stopped by two different shops and they said they couldn t work me in today. I called this place up as it was closest in proximity and they said come in by let us see. I get there, they immediately start looking at my car I talk to the guy in the office for my whole visit, very pleasant man. They told me the total and sent me on the way. Quick and affordable.

they are super friendly, quick, and fairly affordable and do an amazing job! i ve been going there for months and have gotten new tires, new sway bars, new steering rack, and many oil changes and tire rotations. they ve done an awesome job every time and are really good fitting you in the same day or soon after! they re also good about not scamming or ripping you off. i m a young college student with out of state family and it s really nice not having to worry about being overcharged or scammed. 10/10 would recommend!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Tire rotations, Oil change

Absolutely wonderful! Clear communication and timely. I'm not a car person but they helped me understand exactly what was going on. I took my car in before work (not an emergency, but higher than usual pressure), and they rearranged things to get me in and out in like under two hours! Reliable service and honest mechanics for very fair prices. I came in the other day asking about my brakes and they very well could've oversold me and replaced them anyway but instead were honest about the conditions. Brenzel's has been my local mechanic for years and they always provide top notch service and value. They are professional, friendly and reliable. I recently had my catalytic converter stolen and they went above and beyond to get the parts and have it fixed within a day to get me back on the road. The guys were super helpful. Had a couple of nails in 2 tires, but couldn't make it into their shop until a bit after they closed. Called them before to see if they would be willing to stay a few mins late, and they agreed. Got there and they took care of my tires super fast, and friendly.

These guys are great! They just installed new headlight assemblies in my 2009 Honda Fit in about an hour for a very reasonable cost. I was referred to them by a friend whose family has used them for around 30 years. She said they did good work and were honest -- and that's exactly what I experienced. Will definitely go here again and would recommend them to anyone..

great local mechanic, my family has used them forever and we always get good service. they operate out of a kind of expensive area so the prices aren't cheap but the service is worth it. never had a bad job done here

Did great work for a reasonable price on my Subaru. Price quoted was what was charged. I've been bringing my cars here about two years and will continue to give them my business. They are honest about what absolutely needs done, what you should consider doing and what you can hold off on. Great local business.

I ve taken my car here two times and both times I have received superior service. I have found them to be honest and their prices are reasonable. They don t try to sell you things you don t need. A nice, local mechanic!

Great,reliable and honest service! Glenn the owner who took over for his father Jim Brenzel is as knowledgeable as they come! Jason the lead mechanics has seen a car he can t fix and he doesn t try to sell you extra parts just to inflate the ticket.This place pays employees hourly so they have no need to run up a bill,it s nice knowing small family owned businesses still exist but don t get it wrong,they re never too busy to take a look at your car and most of the time offer same day service!

A small mom n pop shop with great customer service and good prices the people there are extremely helpful and polite my vehicle needed a ton of work mostly suspension related but also some powertrain issues and they handled a very large variety of work in a very timely manner for what was actually being done I also just wanted a better understanding of the process of fixing my vehicle and what all it entailed they communicated with me extremely well and kept me in the loop and always kept me up to date on what was happening and when! love this shop they really make you feel like person rather than a dollar sign check em out!

This is a nice neighborhood mechanic shop! The guys are professional and polite. Best of all, they get the work done is very timely manner and don't break the bank for repairs. They've done some repair work on my Volvo with which I've been pleased.

I had my catalytic converter stolen from my car and Brenzel's was able to give me an estimate and fix my car the same day I brought it to them...for a couple thousand dollars less than other places. Highly recommend and will definitely use them again!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Service and speed of service was great, however I would still recommend going somewhere else. Why?I took a car in because it needed the plugs and wires changed because of a misfire. When they called they told me the parts alone (for the plugs and wires) would be ~160 dollars. That smelled really fishy to me so I looked at O'reillys and Autozone. The plugs that I got charged 93$ for were only 37 at these part's stores. That's a 250% markup over retail price!! And since this a is a mechanic, they don't pay their supplier full retail price for their parts.I called them back, since this is quite obviously a rip off and they responded with saying that the markup was for overhead and lights and such. As a business owner myself, I know you don't need to mark up your products over 250% to keep your lights on. If you do, you should probably quit whatever business you're in because that's outright gouging and when people catch on they probably won't be your customer anymore.Like I said, they did a good job, they were nice enough, but when I called about this utterly ridiculous markup on parts they gave me a BS answer. All in all it cost nearly 400$ to get plugs, wires, and oil changed on a 2002 V6 car.Really. Go somewhere else unless you want to subsidize this business's apparently enormously expensive "lights".

They didn't seem to want the work.My wife went there for an oil change on her Beetle a couple years ago, when I was too busy to get around to it. They didn't seem eager to work on a VW and the estimate was fairly high because they had to use synthetic oil (even though my wife's car isn't a turbo) and an OE filter. I sucked it up and just changed it in the driveway myself with our usual Valvoline 10w30 and a cheap Fram filter. No biggie.Then, last weekend my brother and I were replacing some struts over the holiday and needed some springs switched out because we didn't have the proper tools/equipment to do it ourselves in a timely manner. Brought them here and asked if they could do them and if so, could they give me a cost & time estimate. After showing the mechanic the struts and springs, he wasn't sure if he could do them or not, but said if we wanted to leave them and come back in a couple hours, he could try. I thought he might faint when I said they came off a VW Golf. I had to go ask the owner for the price estimate. The owner had to consult the mechanic privately in the garage. I waited around for the better half of 10 minutes before I just left. I called a well-known local Tire Shop and they said they could definitely do them. The struts were done 45 minutes later and I put them back on the car. They changed them for $50 ($25/ea). Best money I spent the whole weekend.My brother and I could have done them ourselves for free, if we spent 4 hours using the tools we had. I was willing to do that, if I had to. Or, I was willing to pay someone else to do them. But, I wasn't willing to sit around and wait 2 hours to find out if someone else could to do them or not. And, maybe Brenzels would have been cheaper. I don't know. But, at that point it didn't matter to me.

I brought my car here for the first time after neglecting it for the past 4 months or so. These people are so friggin AWESOME! They don't screw you, they are honest, and the prices are best I've found. I can't say enough good about them. As long as we live in Louisville or close to it, they will be who we take our car to for work.

This local owned business has been servicing the the cars my family owns (Lexus NX200T, Scion XA, and a Ford Escape) , and always does a top notch job. They will even look over a car you are thinking of buying for a small fee.

Had them replace some tires on a trailer for work they did heat and were quick.
