I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly. Teresa was nice and super helpful. She called my husband per my request instead of me and explained what needed to be done to my vehicle. We had a strict budget and she was able to get my car taken care of within our budget and in only 2.5 hours. I expected my car to be there all day and was grateful it was not. Feels good to know my car is taken care of. Thank you !

I came In to the Westport road location because my brakes sounded like a dying seal when I pressed them...that's the only way I can describe it. Not being a car person I was completely freaked out and prepared to pay an arm and a leg to get my car fixed. I spoke with a woman (I believe her name was Teresa) she was nothing short of amazing! She not only explained to me what my issue was, but she reassured me that she wouldn't charge extra without telling first if it was needed. I left feeling safe in my car and will for sure be back and tell my friends to visit this location.

Theresa the manager at this location was awesome! She even took the time to talk with me on her day off to keep me updated on the status of my Genesis. If you wanna pick a place that cares & wanna do the job right bring it to the Westport area. Brakes for Less should be very happy to have a manager like Theresa spearheading the front lines.

Great service here. Got to the appt 10 min early and they got started on it right away. They quickly identified the cause of the grinding noises and Theresa fully explained the issues of each wheel and their suggestions for each. They gave me educated advice on what's best and why. A little over an hour later, they had my car all fixed up and safe for the road. Would come here again.

Since the moment I arrived Theresa and her team were just great.They did the inspection for free and told me everything my car needed it. Nice enough people but there was an obvious bait and switch vibe going on. They quoted me a price for their part and said I could buy the parts elsewhere but they would have to charge me $150 to install them. I was in a hurry so I just let them order the parts and the price was more than they said. They also couldn t turn my rotors, an obvious ploy to sell me more ridiculously overpriced parts. They are ok in a pinch if you have disposable income, but I recommend looking for someone that has a relationship with a garage that you trust. These places all operate under the same business model. Bait and switch. Never going back for any reason. I ll pay dealer service prices before I use this place again.

Theresa has been amazing to work with. First time coming to Brakes For Less, had an issue with the brakes after a couple of months, called Thersa and they fixed the problem immediately. Would recommend and will be bringing all of my cars back here.

Theresa and her staff took GREAT care of me and my car. I had brought my car here about a year ago thinking that I needed brakes only to get a call from them saying that they could do the service but it was not needed. Saving me hundreds of dollars that I didn t need to spend.Fast forward to today, I needed quite a bit done. Theresa called me and helped me figure out the best plan of action to take care of my car s problem.Their honesty and great customer service will keep me coming back here and referring them to my friends!Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair

Theresa and her team were awesome to work with. My Truck appointment was for 9am and they had me on the rack at exactly 9am. They made a quick and accurate estimate and walked me through what needed to be done. The price was fair. Very professional group and I would certainly recommend this shop for your next break job.

Honest and trustworthy business, I took my car in for a brake inspection, they didn t try to up sale me for any unnecessary products and services. The inspection is free of charge. Would definitely come back and recommend!!!

Dropped in at 12:15pm on 10/26/2023 about brakes. Two employees in chairs never moved and there were no vehicles in the bays. After waiting several minutes left without getting any service.Employees never moved, when I drove by them pulling in and not while pulling out to go elsewhere.

This place did a great job on my brakes, full pads and rotors on all four wheels. Theresa was very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. Only down side was that this place was quite dusty but it is an auto repair shop.

I took my car in to get brakes fixed due to squeaking when braking. The gentleman who looked my car over came in and sat down near me. I expected him to give me a long list of must do's to fix the brakes and how expensive it was going to be. I couldn't have been more wrong. He asked me, "What did you bring your car in for today?" I said my brakes need repairing. He said, "No, your brakes are fine after driving it, removing the tires and examining it, they are fine." I could have fallen on the floor, because I just knew it was going to be bad news...been there before!But he was so honest and so kind and said, "...by August, you may need to do them, so come back to see me then." I could have hugged him! I thanked him for being honest with a woman, and not charging me for services no needed. If you are looking for some honest guys to fix brakes, come to the Westport Rd. location! They have my business from now on!Service: Brakes

I absolutely have to take the time to mention my experience at this location. When your brakes go out, it is such a stressful occasion. However, the guys at the shop were able to get me in, diagnose, and fix the problem within hours. The team - Brad, Alan, and Rick - were so kind and helpful. As someone who does not know a lot about cars, it was nice that they were willing to take the time to talk me through the process. A million kudos to this team. Came here first got quoted 140 then went up to 600 so I decided not to do it went to another place they told me they left my lug nuts all of them loose and stripped a few . SMH

Do Not Recommend...if you've got time to sit around and like to be talked down to, then they are your company! Scheduled an appointment time with Westport Road location at 10:30 and when arrived, they said they were overbooked and it would be at least an hour. The complaint manager for the company, Dexter, was flippant, defensive and short with me saying that they've never had this problem before with anyone and it is not indicative of their usual scheduling. Additionally, their store location was dirty and rundown looking.

I had a great experience! I heard a sudden noise from the brakes. It got worse overnight. They got me in the same day and confirmed prices with me before starting work. They gave me multiple options to help me stay in budget. I am very pleased with the staff, prices, quality of workmanship and parts. Also a great warranty. I am a repeat customer. I highly recommend this shop.

Seeing as though I had a 1pm appointment and am still waiting for someone to look at my car over 2 hours later, it s 315pm and they have yet to take my car in. They did however take my car keys already. Very disappointed in their communication and definitely do not recommend them to anyone. With a slogan like in and out fast you d expect at least an explanation about the delays. I wonder if someone will give me my keys back before they close in an hour

These guys were fantastic.I haven't had to get work done on the car very often and it always gives me a little bit of anxiety. Not only did they give me a step by step breakdown of what work NEEDED to be done, but they also gave me a heads up on how much longer I'd be good for until I would need more work done. No hassel, very polite and professional. Thank you for putting my mind at ease and going above and beyond what was needed for this job. I know who to go back for in the future.Thank you guys. My son went here for the free brake inspection, after an oil change shop said there were "loose parts" on his rear brakes. The only bad thing was that although we'd made an appointment, they were "over booked" and we had to wait a while for the inspection. When they did the inspection, they were thorough, and HONEST and they replaced a small clip for FREE! I am VERY PLEASED with Niles, and the team at this Brakeway location! They showed us what was wrong, a small retaining clip, that was bent and did not charge us for the replacement as the mechanic had a spare in his toolbox. They explained that the brakes currently had a little more than half the expected life remaining and didn't need to be replaced yet. When it's time to get the work done, we will come back here for certain! The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the long wait, even with an appointment.Good, honest service. Useful information and advice. Better than fair treatment. Busy at times, and may have a wait.

The employees here were extremely friendly and kept me updated throughout the whole process! They showed me the problem with my brakes and explained the repairs extensively.
