We have always had an awesome experience with Bob Hook Chevrolet. Just bought our second car there and they couldn t be more accommodating and helpful. The process from start to finish was easy. Max Minzenberger is always helpful and knowledgeable and there is absolutely no pressure. We told him what we were looking for and he came through. We would highly recommend this dealership. Ask for Max!

I wanted to complement the staff of Bob Hook Chevrolet and particularly their service team. I recently had my car worked on and dealt with their service advisor, Mr. John GAHIMER, who provided excellent and professional service to me. John was courteous and kept me posted with updates on the progress of my car repairs. Bob Hook Chevrolet is the gold standard for outstanding customer service. Bob Hook has been my go-to service center for years, thanks to their professionalism, quick turnarounds, and fair prices. However, my recent experience wasn't up to their usual standard. Despite the friendly staff, the communication fell short. Promised a same-day diagnosis, my car sat untouched for hours. Despite challenges, the manager stepped in, offering me a ride home while my car got serviced. Yet, a 3-day wait for a fuel intake cleaning and spark plugs felt excessive. While appreciating the efforts, better communication and a gesture for the inconvenience would have made the experience more satisfactory.

Rcvd 10:30 appt for March 19th on Tuesday and got a phone call that afternoon about closing time that it had not been looked at yet because shop was too busy. No problem but then nothing the next day at all so I started calling to complain on Thursday several calls and finally got a call back from a manager named Bryan Cook who coincidentally told me that they had looked at it and were ordering the part and it would be ready the next day. Why did they tell me to bring it in on Tuesday morning if they weren t going to look at it until Thursday afternoon and then only after I had to make several phone calls to get them to look at it? How many vehicles were put before me during those two wasted days? How long would it have taken if I had never called? Poor service and I will definitely warn anyone about Bob Hook Chevrolet

After totaling my car, I was honestly dreading car shopping. My husband and I found a car online that we wanted to look at and I m glad we came to Bob Hook. Bill s personality was the best. He instantly had us laughing and made the process easier than I could have ever imagined. He wasn t pushy and you could tell he loves doing what he does. I have a Denali 1500 truck and torque converter went bad. I went on vacation and they did not even look at my truck the entire time. I looked at my remote app and truck had not been started for days and not what service was telling me. I had my truck picked up and went to another dealership in Louisville. I also was in there couple years ago and heard the mechanic telling how he was upselling to a lady for more maintenance. So there I got one year warranty on my previous torque inverter they installed. The other place I went too replaced my entire transmission and I received a much longer warranty and I was told by Bob Hook that is longest GM will do, even though now I have a much longer warranty on my transmission. They did not even try. All I heard was excuses. I even called the service manager to complain and it took him 2-3 days to get back to me. He said "well I have a lot of offices". Well, I have a lot of other places to do business too I thought. I am not saying they are bad, but over communicate and ask for great service and hopefully you will get it, because I was disappointed.

Purchase a used car on 10/11 check engine light came on 10/30. Over $1,000 worth of work necessary for car. Sent email to Bob Hook lll He didn't want to talk to an elderly black woman so He forwarded the email to a manager He didn't even bother to respond. Bottom line they are not going to help with any repairs and don't feel that anything was their fault. Beware of salesman James Harris or Jimmy Harris as they call him He is a liar He told me the car was in great shape. He had me purchase a warranty that does not even cover the problems with the car. Beware of this dealership they will not support you they will not stand by you and they will not support the product that you buy from them. These people take advantage disabled elderly women. Do what you like but if I headed to do over again I would not deal with these people One would think that they have a good name and that they would do what is right what is right to them is making a buck

Well my salesman has nothing to do with this edited review from my previous one. Bought new truck about two months ago. It was supposed to come with steps on side per window sticker. But they told me the sticker on window from manufacturer was wrong. Go figure, they did give me a credit on financing for the mess up. Then it was supposed to have all weather floor mats. Had to wait for them to come in. Then is was supposed to have blackout decals on truck also, but it didn t. They were supposedly on back order. So it s been about two months and I haven t heard anything from service saying they were in. So I called and guess what they were in. But I received no call saying they were. So I scheduled an appointment to have them put on for Wednesday November 1st at 8am. Job should not take more than two hours. I was advised to leave my truck and they would call me when done. Why make an appointment and have to leave truck for a two hour job. And also I was advised body shop would be doing it. So my new truck was going to be put in body shop for decals. I advised I didn t want my truck in a body shop for the dust getting inside my truck in the vents and motor compartment, etc. So on the day before appointment I called John in service and asked him why all this was happening the way I have just explained and why do I have appointment and have to leave my truck all day for a two hour job. He told me he would get with person they want to do job and get back with me later because he was at lunch. Waited all afternoon no phone call from John. So I called and was put on hold and when they came back they told me John was busy can I continue to hold because he had two customers ahead of me. I advised the person on the phone that John was supposed to call me back about a situation and he hasn t called me back, so when he finds time call me. About a hour later he calls and said they want to reschedule my appointment a week from the original appointment. I said ok. Then he said hopefully the weather will warm up so we can do the job. I then said what does the weather have to do with it. Warm or cold it s your job to do the work expected on my truck. I worked out of town and I am home only two days a week. I don t have time for this nonsense. I have been doing business with Bob Hook going on about 30 years. Always had no problems at all. But I advised John to just throw away my parts and I will never to any kind of business with Bob Hook again. And I will be taking my new truck to a different Chevrolet dealer for my needs in the future. I have bought about 4 vehicles from them over the years. And this is how I am treated today. No customer service and satisfaction at all anymore. It s just take what we offer you or nothing. So I have decided to take nothing from them and take my business elsewhere in the future. Word of mouth will make a business and it will break a business. Future customers please read the service department reviews about the service department before you decide to do business with Bob Hook. They have some bad ones. 3 to 4 hours for a oil change. Taking car to have fixed and it comes out worse than it came in. I hope the family of the Hooks now of the problems going on in service. And I hope they address them quickly before they lose more loyal customers like me.

I took my chevy blazer in to get serviced and everyone was pleasant. I waited for my vehicle to get checked out and they were very quick the wait time was not long at all. Apparently they are good at what they do.
