They were really great about being communicative (and tinely with communication), friendly, and were honest about the work needed and how long it would take to be done. They did check to see if CarSheild would work with what I needed (some places won't accept it). While most auto work is pricey, and it still was for me this past time, it still ended up at least being cheaper than expected. My car was kept clean, and they did successfully fix the issue.

I went there to have an oil change on my 2014 Taurus. They were friendly and knowledgeable. This time I didn't have to wait for 3 hours,

Even though I am on a waiting list to have my 2019 Ford EcoSport repaired and the recall taken care of, the Service Staff is very honest and tells you exactly what the problem is. i Love their forward way of communicating the truth! I can wait 2-3 weeks.

We purchased a new Ford escape plug in hybrid in Oct. and immediately started having an issue. Called Bill Collins Service department to make an appointment for repair on our new Ford Escape plug in Hybrid on November 27, 2023 and were told 2-3 weeks. They have called us twice to tell us we are on the list but it will be "awhile longer". We called twice last week, left a message for CJ our "service advisor" and he did not return our calls. Today, December 28, we called and spoke with Jordan, the assistant manager in the Ford service department and were told he still could not give us an exact repair date, but he would call when it was our turn. When asked how they could have estimated the wait time so poorly, we never got a straight answer. Eventually he stated that they are not actually a Ford repair shop, more like a franchisee. REALLY? I have spoken with Ford Corporate and was told Bill Collins is a Ford repair service center and as of today's date they are working on cars that were placed on the repair waiting list in October and they will get to us eventually. So, whatever Bill Colllins Service department tells you, DON'T BELIEVE THEM. When I was younger the mnemonic FORD stood for Found On the Road Dead. Unfortunately I thought Ford had improved but I was wrong.Update February 4,2024. Bill Collins Ford has again called to ask us more questions about the problem we are having. We explained in great detail again. Still no date when we can bring our car in for repair.

Awful experience. Told me to bring in my car on a certain day, and ended up sitting for a week without even being diagnosed. Took forever to get a hold of someone, and service tech didn t even remember who I was. When I finally talked to them, it was gonna be a few more days before they even looked at my car. Decided to pick it up and go elsewhere, where my car was promptly diagnosed and worked on. 2nd bad experience here. Never going back.

I m highly disappointed to have to give Bill Collins Ford service this rating. I have dealt with Bill Collins Ford over the last 30 years and gave them a five star review three years ago. Sense of urgency to get your vehicle back to you is lacking or nonexistent. The call back, follow up and even trying to get a hold of the service advisors has proven to be extremely difficult during the last 5-6 service events I have had, over the past year. My experience this week has pushed me past my tolerance level. The attitude that some of the advisors AND phone operators Express is NOT an attitude of concern, but more of an attitude of inconvenience. This must be acceptable in the culture, because I left a voice message for the service manager after two or three attempts of getting in contact with him, and still have yet to get a return call 2 days later. ***Update 2 hours from posting this: I did get a call from the service managers assistant and she was concerned about my experience****. I hope they get it together.

Called to make an appointment for service and was told no appointment can be taken and to just drop off the car and it can take 3 weeks before they can get to it for an Oil Change and Backup camera recall. What a joke!!! Also they do not offer loaner car while they keep your car . Not happy with that call with the service manager.

Just had a list of items repaired on my 2018 Explorer. The service advisor and shop manager were great to work with. The advisor kept me up to date as to where they were on the repairs. It was ready when they said it would be. I can t say enough about these guys. I guess that s why I ve been going there since I started breaking cars. Thanks Bill Collions Service!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

Service center is a joke. On 1-12-2023 went in for my new 2023 f-150 XLT with a missing part. Yes missing part from a truck with 5 miles on it sold. Thought be a eassy fix. They said it should be there with in 2 weeks. HERE I AM 3 WEEKS LATER ( 2-3-2023)AND NO PART ORDERED! 36000 BUMPER TO BUMPER MY A$$. Will never buy from them again TODAY they emergency order to have it on monday. I have ZERO Confidents that it will be in. Missing latch to pull so I can get to my jack if I have a flat tire. Would not recommend this ford to anyone.

Worked with Daniel E. To fix an issue with my 2014 Ford Focus. His customer service was outstanding! He quickly repaired our car and provided immediate updates! Could not have been any better! Daniel was a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend anyone with needed car repairs to call Daniel at Bill Collins Ford!

Hands down the worst ford service center in Louisville. They are insanely unorganized and try their hardest to keep your vehicle as long as possible. I have scheduled the same recall for my Bronco Sport THREE times. Each time they held my car for 2-3 days (without offering any type of loaner) and then let me know on the 3rd day of having my car that they "Don't have the part for the recall". This has happened three times for the same exact recall. They do not communicate AT ALL, and then make empty promises that are never followed up on when you rightfully complain about the terrible service. Please do yourself a favor and go to any other ford dealer in Louisville for service. Oxmoor and Town & Country ford are much better, and truly care about the customer experience.. Do better bill collins!

I called two weeks ahead of time and made an appointment for a recall repair. I was warned that the repair would take a week. I brought my care on the appointment date. One week later, I called to inquire and was told that:1. The repair would take a part they did not have.2. They had not yet ordered the part, after having the vehicle for a week and three weeks after I had made my original appointment for the repair.3. They do not provide loaners even for recalls where Ford has authorized them (See edit below).4. None of this was communicated to me until I called them after a week without my vehicle.Update: The dealership called me back and is supplying a rental until the recall repair work is done. I will update this review further based on the recall repair promptness and work quality.Second update: The vehicle was returned to me 12 days after dropping it off. It looks good and the recall repair was done very professionally. I have mixed feelings about my experience. Definitely make sure they have the necessary parts before dropping off your car for a scheduled recall repair.Final update: A month later, I discovered that they had not done any work on my car, and had left me with the impression that recall work was complete by telling me that my car was "ready for pickup." I experienced this establishment as disorganized and deceptive, and would not patronize it again for any kind of service work.

Not how it used to be. Not even close. Used to be a relaxed, low key experience. Now? New Lincoln Service manager seemed rushed and no loaner vehicle was even offered. Made a 10am appointment specifically to get my car back so I could take care of other business. Didn't get it back until 130p. What's the point of even making an appointment if drive in's are a factor in when you get your vehicle back? Kind of a joke, really.

Bill Collins has had my 2019 ford fusion since 4/15. It is now 5/12 . I called 3 days ago because no one has reached out to me about the diagnostic or what was to be done next with my car. After calling for 3 days I finally was able to speak with Cody (only after leaving 3 voicemails) for a simple update on my car. While speaking with Cody I was told that going by the notes left by the driver we are sending your car to transmission service and it would be $950 upfront service agreement fee and a 2-3 month wait before my car is serviced . It didn t sound right since I know I have Route 66 coverage on my car. I then asked to speak with the service manager Jason. Jason was very upfront and rude and unprofessional. I was hung up on 3 different times by Jason . Jason told me that even with my Route 66 coverage I was to pay them $950 upfront before they could work on my car and THEN they would contact the warranty company and the warranty company would reimburse me my $950. I thought that was odd due to the fact on my warranty paper it says before any work is done contact us . I asked Jason had he contacted them. He told me no that he has worked with them long enough to know they don t cover a tear down fee. I finally got in contact with my warranty company who then told me it s in my best interest to go pick my car up because it s doesn t even require a tear down fee. After that I called Bill Collins back and spoke with Jason again and he told me that he would not contact them because he is going to be told the same thing as always, regardless of what I was telling him the warranty company told me. He then stated if I didn t pay that he was going to roll my car outside. Very unprofessional , very rude, do not recommend anyone going to this place for service. They will hang up in your face and attempt to keep your car hostage until they get money that s not required for services.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Much better than the last time I went in for service. This time it was a recall fix. Also had the tires rotated. Recall was fixed promptly. Billing on the tires seemed fair this time. Juan was friendly and informed me that my normal service rep had retired. So all's good but not sure if I'm going back to have repairs made. Labor charges just too high.

Very unhappy about my recent experience. My service light came on so I took vehicle in, it's a 2019, just out of warranty. They said it was 'bad fuel" and wanted $1,400 to flush all the lines.I called my brother, who is a service manager at an out of state Ford service dept. He advised to buy a $4 bottle of HEET , which I did & it fixed the issue. Thanks Bill Collins for going the extra mile. For trying to help a long time customer spend all her $$. I have had a few bad experiences in the past year or 2, this is the ONLY place I have taken vehicles for services and I've purchased 5 in the past 10 years! I'll be heading to a different place from here out.

I had to bring my car in for a recall problem and oil change/fluid check. They call it the works. They needed to keep it for a few hours and provided me a shuttle home and back to pick it up. It was great. The shuttle driver was great too. His name is Joe. Awesome job Joe and all at Ford. Thank you.

I work for Ford Motor Company and can't believe the way I've been treated. My 2019 Escape has been at the service department going on 3 months and can't get any info or returned phone calls about my vehicle. I don't recommend use them for service or sales

We have to give a one star and only because we had to wait 7 months to get our transmission fixed. Yes, 7 months. We had a full warranty and we're supposed to get a loaner but were told they couldn't give us one until the car was broke down and diagnosed. Finally offered loaner 6 months later but didn't need it by then because was forced to buy another car, our only option! Thank goodness we could afford it but I feel for anyone that this happened to that couldn't afford it. We were told several different reasons why it was taking so long...parts delay, manpower, to be honest can't remember them all. But I do want to add that I was always treated with respect every time I called. Still though, would never go back or recommend the service department.UPDATE: Fast forward to today 9/23/23... Found out according to Tri County Ford that both my drive axels were damaged when Bill Collins did my transmission repair. After hours on the phone...yep, you guessed it, they're not responsible and aren't reimbursing anything! So I had to pay $3800 for the fix.

They didn t. I called them at 5. I was told my car was ready and they would call me when the paper work was done. They didn t. All I asked was for them to call me back about my work truck. I've been ignored for 3 weeks and counting.I have lost weeks of work because Bill Collins has my truck to fix a Ford recall. The recall is with the steering. It almost killed me.I would say take it someplace else, but I'm guessing the others are the same, i.e. Town and Country Ford.
