So after these guys told me they can install tires on my truck they got started and halfway through the process they decided that they didn't have time to finish it because they had too many customers coming in the door so fair warning to all that if they're busy don't expect for them to complete the job the owner seems super Shady but always has a smile that's the worst kind of person to do business with.

Went in today, got treated well, wanted to get my rear tires changed and that s what I got, got 2 used rear tires for $100. good deal! And the topped off my tires with air.

This is my first choice of the two tire shops that I have reviewed as the places where I procure my used tires. This place was charging $30 a tire when I first started going here. Of course by now they are still reasonable at $40 per tire and a set of good michelins at $200 on the rim, balanced and out the door, so to speak. This is one of two reviews for what I call "Latin owned" used tire shops, my other choice is close to where I live near Shelbyville, Kentucky. These guys are quick, efficient, speak to me as a VIP return customer, as I am now being that I have bought here for several vehicles that I have owned. Today I purchased four Michelins for my Acura MDX at a reasonable $200. A photo or photos of this purchase on the vehicle will follow this review. I am well satisfied with this particular business, the manager or owner I do not know which he would be, was absent today which is unusual, because he's my go-to guy. It may have been why I was charged $200 today instead of 140, but I will pay $200 for a set of Michelins all day long, in this condition. I'd probably pay $200 if they were bald and Michelins. Michelin's are the best tire, as far as I'm concerned, all around and no holds barred. I can definitely tell a difference between the terrible choice somebody made putting $10 tires on a $40,000 vehicle in this case, as I slid off the road twice, two times, going slow when wet roads were the case. Thank goodness my super sporty Acura MDX was what I was driving, as I recovered easily. So, the tires that I bought from them today, of course I tested during the same speed in the same condition of Road being wet, yes I did this I had confidence in these Michelins. Needless to say no slip and slide, no hesitation in pickup, no hesitation in dead stop take off. No slide whatsoever. Great job Bardstown Tire, you doubled my loyalty. I will now make it an effort to call from my home in Henry County, KY before I go anywhere else for tires. Five stars hands down, definitely, absolutely... 5 STARS. Gone here a few times with no problems except the tires are used so they wear super fast, only this last time they put my tire on *backwards* , it was raining hard so I take full accountability but I didn t double check the job they d done and went on the road, tire popped in Tennessee somewhere and I was stuck with 2 kids and 2 dogs cause everything was closed, had to drive an hour with a donut after I found someone to put it on and get a hotel room.Idk like any hole in the wall place it s a hit or miss.Tires do not last very long either so plan on getting brand new ones within couple months and please just double check

I'll be honest don't judge a book by It's covercause if you do you would think what I thought I thought it was probably a pretty shady I go in there they are plentiful on a Saturday and they are working very Organized they took care of me sold me a used Tirevery nice for $40 came out with a receipt and a 7 day warranty they have a good business going and everything works by very organized there was no chaos in this place at all took care of 20 customers every 20 minutes it appeared to be

Please don't pull in with a Mercedes, BMW,Lexus of no year..trust your prices will be different from that guy with a Ford or Chevy..guy was getting tires the same size as mine he had a Chevy I got a BMW my price was 65..his was 45..far warning..

Cash only spot (not a personal issue) they close at 6 (also not an issue) called them to check if they had a tire to replace mine, they said yeah just get here before we close and we got it. Took my tire off, got to them at 5:50 just for the workers to tell me they were closed, while they were working, and then also tell me that they didnt have my size tire even though i called just 20 minutes before to make sure they did before i wasted gas or time.

Fast and good. Used tires were a lil more than I expected but the other service made up for that So I am good

BEWARE! They sell "new tires" with very old dates on them. If you do choose these guys, CHECK WHAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY PUTTING ON YOUR CAR! Also, make sure you get a FIRM AGREEMENT on the price before they do anything at all. Final note: they either don't know how to or don't care enough to properly balance a tire/wheel. What I suggest is to just give them a friendly wave as you pass them by & go to Glenn's instead. He's been in business forever, he's always there when they're open, knows what the hell he's doing, & won't screw you over! I would give Bardstown Tire a fair one-star rating because there's usually someone there with a pulse.

Great prices ,I was in my work truck and needed a tire fast,pulled up, told my man what was up,he said "I gotchu" and was back on the street in no time..good lookin

Went a couple weeks ago and they put the wrong tire on my car (same numbers but extra wide and XL, which none of the other tires were). Went back there the next day because I discovered my car was shaking while driving because of that tire after having a friend check it out and it was my front tire. They changed it the next day but tried to charge me $10 extra after they put the wrong class tire on my car. Decent prices but watch them, the funny thing is the day before when I was there originally a man came up and said they gave him the wrong tire but they all laughed it off with no issue and fixed it but maybe because I am female they thought they d get more money from me. NOPE!!! LADIES BEWARE!!!

Stopped in to reinflate a low-pressure tire. The manager topped off all 4 tires and wouldn't accept my $$ gratitude. I'll remember that when I need tires next time!

Busy. Not much time for me. The guy was courteous.They would have had to order any new tires. I didn't buy there.Lots of nice looking used tires, though. Good prices on them.

It's a small business but the employees there are very helpful and accommodating. When they are busy they get to you as soon as possible. I was afraid when my tire kept losing air that I would need a new tire even though the tire was still in good shape. The employee told me he would plug it which was a lot less than a new tire he could have told me I needed a new tire but he was honest. I was delighted !!

I have had good experience on this place and refer all my customer here because I don t have a balance machine. I brought my van(I use for my kids)they told me 4 matching tire only 1 match. They stripped 3 studs and didn t tell me. One side has a lug nut missing. Drove the car for a week with unbearable shakes. Thought it was my brakes so replaced all 4 rotors and pads same thing. Turned to replacing 2 axles(fwd) same thing. Turns on all 4 tires are cupped in the inside. One tire that didn t match was chopped to hell. For $100 more and saving all the headaches I could have gotten new tires. I was courteous coming back calming telling them the safety hazard of the stripped studs. I won t be coming back nor will my customers.

I have came here several times and always had a good experience until the last time. Usually I arrive with a flat tire and they change it out for a new one promptly and have great service. The last time I arrived with a donut on my car and they took the Donut off and replaced the tire. I was happy when I left considering I got a good deal and they were quick as always. A month or so later I get a flat tire and go to get my Donut out my trunk and it is gone. They kept my Donut and did not put it back in my trunk. This has caused me tremendous amounts of money in annoyance. Upon realizing they had my Donut I went back to get it not only did they not provide a Donut they did not provide any other type of tire either that would work for emergencies. They also did not offer to replace or pay for the Donut I had. I have called many times to see if there was something they would do and I never get any response. Very disappointed on how they handled this situation.

I called to find out how much it would cost to get 4 new tires (that I purchased elsewhere) mounted and balanced. I was told $10 each. I thought this was a great price, seeing as how other places charge around $14.99. Once I got the tires, I brought them here to have them mounted and balanced. The guys didn't say much to me, they just got to work right away. I waited about 20 minutes for the new tires to be put on my vehicle. After they were done, they said it would be $80. I told them that I had spoken to someone at the shop earlier in the week and they said it would be $10 each, or $40 total. The guy said no one does it for $10. I explained that that's why I had come there, that I thought it was a great price. He said no, it's $80. I told him I could get it done for around $60 at Meineke. I still had to pay $80. I think they only do this to women. I don't recommend going here to anyone who wants a quality job done. You will get ripped off.

Do not come here. You get what you pay for when buying tires. They are the only thing between you and the ground. These people sell dangerous, junk tires and charge slightly less than a cheap new tire at Walmart.They use only floor jacks without jackstands. You've been warned; we all have decisions to make.

Showed up after my mother had an incident with a curb and had a replacement tire on in 15 minutes. Dirt cheap with the same tread as the other tires.

Guys are very nice and work hard. The guy I was working with didn't want to put a certain size tire on my car due to my make and model not requiring that size. i explained the rims were after market. He spent a good amount of time trying to find the size he felt was best for my vehicle. After not being able to find it I suggested we try a little bit bigger size due to my car sitting in the parking lot on a flat and I needed to go to work. He agreed to give it a shot. After the tire was on and it fit perfectly he raised the price $10. He said , "Oh, this one will be $50." Originally I was told $40 but that was for the tire we had previously discussed. Also this different tire was a Pirelli which are $140-$1500 each and this tire looked almost new. So it was definitely worth $50. Also, it was snowing very fat heavy snowflakes along with some drizzle and his head was completely soaking wet from trying to find me the right size. So, I would not only recommend but I would insist that you shop here when you need a used tire. If a price was increased it was because of a small communication problem. Nothing else. I didn't ask if this bigger tire was going to be the same price and he didn't say it was going to be a different price. As a business you would expect that communication but hey nobody is perfect.

So I went in to get 2 front tires for my car and it was $70 which wasn t terrible. Once I left I realized there were no weights on the wheels. Mount and balance is included in the price. The told me they put weights on the inside of the wheel which I told them not too because they are expensive wheels. This made me want to check my pressure in my tires also, the tire pressure was over 70psi which is insane. It should be at 35psi, not to mention they don t even torque down tour lugs (huge safety hazard) or they don t clean the hub or backing of the wheel. Save your money and buy new tires. Also when I confronted them they told me they could give me a refund but they wouldn t give my old tires back. On top of that another $20 to rebalance. I should ve known better...

I call Bardstown Tire the pit stop of tires! They get you in and out very quickly! I love this place! Miguel and Beto are great guys and have saved me money and time over the years! I highly recommend Bardstown Tires!!

Great experience! I had a tire blow out on our Honda Odyssey and they replaced it with a high quality used tire. Fast, friendly and affordable. Highly recommended!
