I needed my tailpipe repaired after a hanger broke and Steve was able to take care of it in less than 30 minutes after I called. Very nice man and extremely helpful and doesn t charge an arm and a leg for something as simple as my problem was.

Steve is very easy to talk to and knowledgeable. Keeps almost everything in stock. Ran dual exaust on my bronco with flowmaster and dual tips. Installed cheaper than I could have purchased parts myself. Amazing welds and super clean work. You can see the experience in his work!

Steve is the genuine article. Super nice fella. Got me back up and running in my emergency situation in just a few short moments. Can't wait to come back after the holidays and have him do a full system on my truck.

I was on a road trip when I blew a hole in my muffler. I found Advance Muffler on line and went to see them. They were able to get me in and fix it with zero issues. The price was more than reasonable and the service was very good. Highly recommendedService: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Just spoke to Steve today regarding my Acura 2010 TSX and a catalytic converter issue. Steve was very helpful for me and getting this figured out whether to replace or not replace. The decision was not to replace. I've never been to Steve's shop before and he never met me but he was so honest and answered all my questions and did not charge me. If I need any exhaust work in the future Steve is the guy I will use. If you are looking for someone that is honest and fair Steve is your guy!

Recommended by a friend. Glad I went there. Steve was very friendly and personable. Made me a quote and completed the job for less than the original quote. Very thorough service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. You want be disappointed. Been doing this muffler business for close to forty years.

I had a loud noise on my 2008 Nissan Sentra that I could not go beyond 50 mph speed cos of its loud noise. I knew it was Muffler and I googled a muffler place and found Advance Muffler was closed to me. After reading his review, I decided to visit him and I only paid $50 for a job they will charge $450 at other places that they want to replace everything unnecessarily because they dont want to work. It took Steven just 15 to 20 mins and he was done. I sell cars and it is difficult to get honest people but Steven was the most honest I have ever met. Now I have standby place to take my cars to for muffler. Thank you sir and I wish there are more people on earth that are like you, may be this world would have be so great.Service: Exhaust

I can't say enough. He was friendly, honest, professional. He saved me a lot by fixing my exhaust leak intead replacing unnecessary parts. I thought I was going to need a new catalytic converter which a lot of mechanics would have been happy to sell me but repairing the exhaust leak did the trick! I will definitely use him again.

Called Steve after another shop couldn't get me in for two weeks. The other shop recomended them. Dropped off my truck this morning and got it back at 3. He had to manufacture from manifold back. Great job and great price. keep it local if you need muffler work go see Steve. He is a one person shop, leave a message he will get back to you.

Dad went there to get his muffler checked out, thinking he needed to get it replaced completely. Steve treated him with respect and also mutual friends work Tommy, my dad's neighbor.Dad was very appreciative that Steve helped him out and charged him $40 to fix his muffler.Thank you, Steve! I live in Indy and wanted him to get to a very reputable shop. Thanks to Google review!

He was amazing quoted me at $300 for what I needed and did extra work to save me some money on parts hey that $50 goes a long way when traveling! I have a 2007 Toyota Prius and just for the muffler alone from an autozone, O'Reilly's ect. It would have been $400 and had reviews on rusting near or just after a year! I found Advance Muffler he looked at it yesterday and quoted me in 30 min then I took it back today and had it done in two hours! He is a god send, definitely check it out!!!! I'm so glad my car is quiet now and he custom makes the parts! Thank you so much!!!Service: Exhaust

The owner is a one man show that has been doing this his entire life. I promise I will never take or advise anyone to go anywhere else but here.. Hot Rod guys and gals , its well worth the wait !!!!! And by far way less expensive.

Just a heads up to folks who think this shop is still in Taylorsville. It is NOT. He has moved back to Sheperdsville. The phone number is the same. His new address is; 1485 Coral Ridge Rd. Sheperdsville, KY.( I was hoping he was still within walking distance from my apartment!)
