My clutch stop working on my jeep compass and Aamco fixed it right away. They are so nice and they really care about you and how your car drives. I will always take my car to AAMCO if I have any more issues with my transmission. Also the price was in good standard with me. They even took my warranty company to help me pay for it. Thank you AAMCO THE BROWNS LOVE YOU.

DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPANY, they claimed they fix my car and my car still had the dams problems the moment we left the lot . The owner is racist he refused to refund me . Fix the problem , show me proof that anything was done and had the nerve to say it could be another problem that would cost more money. He threatened to hurt me , a single mom of 3 kids and pocketed my $1000 my car was never looked at nor fixed I went to another company to verify and I didn t even get a tune up like he was suppose to do , it was so bad the police had to be called please do not use this service he is scamming ppl for they money it s the holidays and he took from me and my kids . I will be going to small claims court I hope karma catches up to him and his business fails and the fbi locks him up for taking ppls money

When I first called I immediately got great customer service. Leaving your vehicle 5 hours from home where it broke down is stressful and definitely made me feel nervous. Leaving my car with Herb and his team was the complete opposite! Communication was great, I received updates often (without even having to ask), and my car was done quickly for the situation. Herb even went out of his way on a Saturday to allow me to pick up my car so I didn t have to take time off work to drive down. On top of all this, my car was running brand new when I picked it up. 100% would recommend this location. Thank you!!Service: Transmission

Will be the only place I ever recommend again for transmission work. When I say they took care of me it's an understatement! It's so hard to find a company in these days that actually does business in an ethical manner. I have a limo that I wanted to get running in a quick time frame and they hit the mark. The day of pickup they were closing early for Derby but waited for me to get it and make sure I had it for the weekend. They went above and beyond what any other business would do on other issues as well. I hardly ever leave reviews but this place deserves it! Thanks again for all you did!Service: Transmission

My transmission was leaking fluid, I thought my valve was bad, they checked and said speed sensor was loose, all need was to be tightened and add more fluid, not expensive as I thought, it was pretty quick, we ll see how it goes, I m happy for now.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I took my car to AAMCO because my car kept cutting off when it idled at stop lights. They told me I needed a new transmission. They kept my car for over a week and told me they ordered the wrong transmission so they had to get another one. I got my car back Thursday, December 22. I paid $3000. My car is doing the same thing the first day I drove it. I took it back to the shop now they tell me it s doing that because of Crankshaft position codes & multiple cylinder misfire. Why didn t they see this problem before? How do I know this wasn t the problem instead of paying $3000 for a transmission? No one has extra money to get scammed around Christmas time. I want my car fixed or I want my money back because the problem I paid for them to fix isn t fixed.Service: Transmission

They were good and they dealt with my warranty plan. Dustin was great to deal with.I thought that they should have put my Jeep on the diagnostic machine for that price and because I'm still having problems with it starting in cold weather but other than that.

I was told by a Dodge dealership that my 2016 Dodge Ram needed a new transmission. I took it to AAMCO for a second opinion. Dylan and his crew took the time to thoroughly assess and diagnose what the actual problem was and saved me time, money, and a major headache. I ended up not having the transmission of my car replaced at this location (manufacturer's recall) but Dustin was absolutely wonderful with trying to help track down a replacement. He kept me posted to let me know he hadn't forgotten about me and was tenacious in his attempts to help me get my car back in the road. Any future transmission work will absolutely be considered at this location. I can't recommend them enough!

Will be the only place I go to for my cars needs from now on! Dropped of my car thinking my transmission needed to be fixed but not even 30 minutes later Dustin called with the correct diagnosis. Turned out I had extremely botched brake work done from a different company. Dropped off my car before they closed for the day and was able to pick it up early the following day. Haven t had any issues since. Fast service, great staff, and couldn t beat the price! Will be recommending to others!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

If you re like me & you rely on reviews to help guide you where the best places are.. look no further. Dustin had my sons car in and out in literally one day. Not only was he professional & kind, he did not price gouge me nor give me a quote then the bill be double. These guys are the real deal. For a family with limited means.. taking my sons care here was the best decision to make. He even gave me suggestions on what to do with the problem that we can t completely fix at the moment. I wanted to them to check about a noise my car has, i wasnt knowing if it was trans or diff, they had to drop pin (trans pan oil and diff cover). Just to know where that noise was coming from, after a week picked up my car they told me its the diff that got metal, the best part of this service is that is not detailed on what they work and how much the parts cost or service, it only says shop labor with not much detailed information on what the labor was worked for. They only told me that they need it to drop pin and the labor was $465.00 ended up paying $510.15. So if its an inspection is inspection just only to know what the costumer will be expecting to fix and problems their car has, and to be honest with the costumer.

I honestly dont know where to start...I had an excellent experience. In character and business acumen, Dustin nailed it! All time windows for repair were accurate. Communication was excellent and I called AAMCO several times throughout my ordeal. Alsways patient. Always courteous. Always gave a full explanation of what was going on and what was expected, even got my ca4 back a day ahead of time! Doing business with this location was great. Dustin was awesome. Dustin and his guys at the Louisville locatation SAVED OUR ROADTRIP!2,000 miles from home we noticed a grinding sound from our front end. After getting misdiagnosed at another garage, our hometown garage suggested we find a local Aamco. Dustin's location was my 3 phone call after the other two locations could not even LOOK at our car for another week.Dustin understood our sense of urgency and squeezed us in his schedule for 830a the next morning.We arrived early and they took our car right in. Front passenger wheel bearing was our issue. It was quickly, professionally and accurately diagnosed and less than 2 hours later we were on our way....in a much quieter car!Traveling far from home can certainly become more challenging when car problems strike. But we are so very thankful for Dustin and his crew for providing wifi while we waited(and fun convo), for keeping us safe and for allowing our adventure to continue!Thanks Dustin(and your crew) for saving our trip!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I came in not knowing what was wrong and thinking it was a wheel bearing. They performed a thorough inspection and confirmed a wheel bearing. They ordered the parts and replace both front end wheel bearings the same day and got me on the road same day! I dropped my van off on Nov 29th to these so called professionals they informed that I need a new transmission and that would fix my issues. 3 transmissions later they informed me it was a dealer issue and even though I had spent almost $5000 with them they couldn t fix the problem. So on March 8th I moved my van from AAMCO to a dealer who informed that I need a new PCM and they had to replace wiring that had been done wrong by AAMCO. I was also informed of other issues the dealer found that wasn t their prior to me leaving it with AAMCO. I dealt with AAMCO corporate who did nothing for me. I also spoke with the owner of the AAMCO who said he wasn t giving any kind of refund because his guys claim they tried to contact me to do repairs so I wouldn t be spending money with other shops. The issue with that is I have the proof on my phone bill they never tried to contact me to make it right. I also have where the dealer explained about the shortened solenoid pack that had to replaced because AAMCO shortened it. I also have a picture showing the nut on my tire that wasn t no where near as tight as it should be. That negligence could have killed me and my kids.Stay away from AAMCO or their negligence could hurt you and your family. I have already filed with BBB.Service: Transmission

So, I was told by Mr. Transmission that my Transmission was shot and that I needed a $3K replacement.Took my vehicle to Aamco and for $325 , I was on my way home.Ammco, the only way to go!If you blow a tranny, well you will have issues your whole life.

Transmission went out in my vehicle and I called a couple places that were gonna take at least a week to even look at it. Called Aamco and had my vehicle looked at the same day(Monday), Transmission replaced , and my vehicle returned by Friday. Kept me informed and were very professional.
