AVOID AT ALL COST They charged me $525.00 to replace a battery and cables and when i picked my vehicle up and drove off it would not go over 30 miles because my power control module did not recognize my car key as if i was trying to steal my own car. Like someone had a new key and it would not recognize my key i already had.No assuming anything but just saying kinda strange. They tried to charge me another diagnostic fee for a problem they caused. when I refused to pay the diagnostic fee they took my phone number said they would give me a call to look over their work and repair it but never called. had to take my vehicle elsewhere and get new keys programmed and repaired. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO HERE.

Excelent service!We have been around for 3 years and this guys always find a way to amaze me with their level of service and effectiveness.I crashed this Jetta a while ago in the highway and the guys managed to make it work like new for a fair price.Thank you guys for everything!

Alex and Carlos take great pride in their work. They were extremely careful mounting and balancing my new 24" rims and tires. Will definitely recommend them to anyone.

Called into this place and asked them hey if I bring my (Year, Make & Model of my vehicle) in, do you have the ability to fix the AC on my car. Yes - they said Great, also my car is running a bit hot lately so since you can fix the AC could you look into and see why the car is running so hot? Yes, there is a diagnosis fee to determine why the car is running hot. Was 100% fine with paying a diagnosis fee, because they were going to fix the issue. Well I dropped the vehicle off and the next morning they said they didn t have the machine to fix the AC on my vehicle. He was planning on buying one but it s too expensive.So why would I bring my car to a place that doesn t have the equipment to fix my car.Oh by the way the diagnosis fee determined I needed radiator fluid. Which is fine and all if I knew up front they didn t have the equipment to fix my vehicle. But if I had known that up front I absolutely would not brought my vehicle to A 1 auto repair near Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium and the UofL baseball stadium near campus.I would ve moved on to a different option instead of wasting my time and money.Hey, with that diagnosis fee you charged me I hope you re able to afford new equipment.0/5 don t recommend. And if you absolutely need to, get everything in writing.

I brought my vehicle here because I had a massive coolant leak. Come to find out, my thermostat and water pump was leaking. They were able to fix it in a very timely manner and completely solved the issue. They re very reasonable with their prices as well. I would 100% come back and I would recommend anyone to bring their vehicle here with any vehicle issues that may arise. Very blessed and happy I came across this place.

Over priced but he knows his stuff. Had a friend refer me. Bad decision. And a costly one. Put it like this.... I no longer speak to that so called friend.

Excellent for car repair, honest, prompt work, at fair prices. They communicate with you about your car while it is in the shop. Fixed my car in 1 day, for about 1/4 what it would have cost elsewhere. Highly recommend.

These guys do what they can to get done ASAP. My very first time here, suggested from another mechanic, A.F. saved me fifty bucks and THEY did a really good job!!Competitive prices, always good service.

Alex and the guys are great mechanics and they charge reasonable rates. That's a bottom line for a solid four or even five star rating. But A1 is timely and involves the client in the repair process if possible.I'm seeing complaints about the rates at A1, but I've shopped around and they're asking the standard.They are excellent neighbors. I live nearby. They look out for me, I look out for them. Their friendly relationships with the community mean that the cars in their lot are safer from breakins.At this very moment, I'm having my car repaired at A1 and they are my go-to.

Very professional! My daughter is a grad student at UOfl and I am 1000 miles away. I spoke with them over the phone and he took care of getting her vehicle fixed. I recommend this company!! Thanks so much A-1

Honestly after reading some of the reviews I was a little reluctant to take my car here. But he diagnosed the problem in my car honestly and didn't over charge. The only complaint I have is they could be a little more professional. I would recommend them.

Everyone here is very helpful, & honest with everyone about what they can do for you. Very good mechanics know what they're doing. They will work with you to get you back on the road, & will help as much as they can. The most respectable people I've ever worked with.

They will mess up your car, never go there. they changed car s engine oil and didn t change the filter. The own (Alex) is very very rude guy avery poor customer service. They forced me to accept engin oil without filter or put back my old oil but still pay $20 for labor.

Charged $340 to replace a starter, and basically forced me to do it here because there was a $140 diagnosis fee if I didn't have them do it. Diagnosis probably took less than 5 minutes (car didn't start). This is something that could've been done for $200. Don't go here.

I m so disappointed. I got a used tire and after two days I had a flat tire !! Please be carefully when you get a used tire from this place

Great workers just needs to have a little more work into the work on the card especially me speeding over 300 got my muffler fixed an my antifreeze spilled out everywhere

Do not do business with this con artist crook the typical stereotype why people cannot trust car mechanics or used car salesman he even makes that stereotype look good. Honestly have no idea how this guy is still in business
