Dan is a real master at detailing. Look at this engine bay- it s brand new !!!! Wow !! Thanks Dan for stepping up on my 08 CRV. What a fantastic result and way better than I imagined after over 120k miles !! Will def be back!!

Shoutout to Daniel, Kevin and crew for the job done on my newly purchased 2023 Honda Civic. They got the job done in 3 hours, looking pristine of course. Reasonably priced, especially for the quality. Before and after photo provided, hit em up for all your tint needs.

If you re looking to detail your car, you won t find a better place. They are expensive, but you get top quality service. The owner was very friendly and spent time with me when I brought it in for a quote, and you can tell they pay attention to even the little details. My car looks as though it were brand new but it s nine years old and as far as I can tell, nothing was missed and the wax job was outstanding. I think they even used RainX on the windshield and windows. The leather seats were extensively cleaned and I was quite pleased with their appearance.I believe they also do window tinting there, but I did not have that done. They are conveniently located in St. Matthews in the rear of the old Sears building where the auto center was located You can just drive in and talk with the owner, Daniel.

I'm just over-the-moon excited about how my car detailing turned out. I bought this vehicle new eight years ago and it looks better now than it did when I took delivery of it. There's not a spec of dirt on the inside, the carpet is perfect, the leather seats are soft and conditioned, and the trunk is perfectly clean. Although I'd never the paint polished professionally they were able to restore the shine to like-new. They also restored my headlights when we thought they were so bad they'd need to be replaced. I can't say enough about how pleased we are with this service. I feel like I just bought a new car, it's immaculate!Services: Full body wash, Clay bar treatment, Headlight polishing, Seat shampooing, Auto detailing, Wheel washing, Auto interior vacuuming, Car waxing

Daniel was extremely unprofessional all around. A gift card was purchased for an interior and exterior auto-detailing. The individual purchasing this gift card was told the car could be done for "around $300", and the gift card was purchased in this amount. Upon calling A&K detailing, we were quoted nearly 2x what was stated when purchasing the gift card. Of course, there is no option for a refund and we are now being forced to spend twice what others in the areas are quoting simply because we are now "locked in". I don't know how this guy stays in business with the attitude he had towards me over the phone! I would not trust him with my vehicle in any capacity.

Just had my car exterior detailed and the car looks great. It also has a protective coat on it now to keep it looking nice. They got the job done quickly and worked with my schedule. The owner was super friendly and helpful too.Would recommend them to friends.Service: Auto detailing

Great detailer. They take care of their customers and they have always gone the extra mile for me. My family member's Mazda CX-5 was FILTHY when I took it there, and they did a great job cleaning it up. Recommended.

After being told at several different detailing places around town that my back seats were past save, I was beyond delighted when A&K Detailing was able to completely revive my Subaru s beige, cloth interior in one day for less money than its competitors. Daniel is the man!

I ve done business which this company twice now and words can explain how pleased I am with their work. I first took my truck there about a year ago and had the interior cleaned and detailed. And honestly the best way I can describe their work is when I jumped back in my truck for the first time it was so clean that it was hard to believe that this was my truck. I m a mechanic so I know that wasn t an easy task for them but I personally think it was cleaner after they finished it then when I bought it from the dealership 6 years ago. The next thing I took to them was a 30 year old bench seat that I recently bought for a project truck and it had a horrible smell to it. They took great care of the old seat and got every bit of smell out of it. I would recommend A and K to anyone because their work is worth every penny spent.Services: Seat shampooing, Auto detailing

I had my windows tinted at A&K. This was the third car I had them do. I think that says it all. They do a great job and I've never had a problem with the tint.

Wow! What a phenomenal job! A & K truly exceeded my expectations!I brought them my white Audi, which was completely dotted with sticky and dried black tree sap. Daniel was super nice and reassuring that they would be able to remove the stains. What I discovered when I picked up my car was that it sparkled like the day I bought it!Kevin went above and beyond, and even had to wet sand in order to remove the nasty spots. I m so grateful for his meticulous work, and for the more than fair price for such attention to detail. Absolutely worth it.A & K deserves my glowing recommendation!

i took my daughters car to be cleaned inside and out. it had not had a proper cleaning in 7 years. A&K did a thorough job of completely detailing and polishing the interior and exterior. the car looks brand new. thank you A&K!

Kevin was terrific. I sent an inquiry through the website, and he responded promptly and asked me to call him to discuss my options further. He was informative and clear in explaining the options and costs. I had interior detailing done, along with two other services to remove cigarette smoke smell from the car I had just purchased. The smoke smell was eliminated completely and my car's interior looks immaculate. It was worthy every penny. I appreciated the quality of the work and the customer service. I highly recommend A & K Detailing.

A & K does an amazing job! We have been so happy every single time we have used them. The cars look brand new inside and out and the job was done quickly and thoroughly. Daniel was wonderful to work with and did a beautiful job on all 4 of our family cars! We would not use anyone else.

These guys detailed my F-150 inside and out. What a difference...it actually looks showroom new. I didn't mind paying the amount charged, as I could see how many hours were spent on such a detailed job. Our car has never been cleaner! It's a 2007 civic and the upholstery looks brand new after taking to A&K. Our car was stolen and recovered after a couple weeks which is what prompted us to have the interior detailed. The thief completely trashed it and smelled badly of smoke. A&K completely eliminated all odors. We will definitely take our other vehicles here in the future. Hopefully under better circumstances.

Could not be happier(!!), even as I drove away in precipitation. ;~)These people do a FANTASTIC job! Obviously knowledgeable staff and the car truly looks brand new again, inside and out and all around!Easy to find, to the right of 'Big Lots' at Shelbyville Rd. and Thierman Ln/Sears Ave. in St. Matthews.I may have solved gifting too as they offer gift certificates!!!Feels great to take care of the car that gets me where I am going! ;~) ;~)Additionally, about 6 weeks prior to my detailing, my husband had our truck detailed. Inside it was covered in dog hair, drops of ???, & who knows what else! We got it back looking new! I could not believe my eyes that it was the same truck(!), absolutely sparkled inside and out! I could swear the vehicles 'run better' !!I think detailing is a 'necessary' treat and this is the place to go! Detailing is now factored into our annual budget!!! Thank You "A & K"

This work was OUTSTANDING. Brought a enclave in as a family of 7 with two dogs and the after their work, it proved well worth the decision. Communication on status of work remained constant and exterior work was just as professionally done as the inside. Got my black 370z detailed here, inside and out. The smoke odor was completely removed, and every crevice on the car, even in the door seams and around the hatch, were cleaned. I would definitely consider using them annually to upkeep the look of my car.

I have never written a review on anything before but I picked up my car from them yesterday. I will say the cost was more than the over the phone quote but I was warned on the phone that they can't tell until they see the car and the work involved. I was ASTOUNDED at the result!!! Well worth every cent !!! I have a four year old that has eaten and spilled things in my car since he was an infant and have not cleaned it aside from the occasional vacuum. Four years of eating and spilling our sodas and our kids juice and milk erased in one day! I can only say thanks to the workers at A & K for making my car feel like new !! Definitely using them again!

I would not recommend this place to anybody. They charged a ridiculous amount of money for a job that I could have done (and done better) with 4 quarters at the local car wash. Their website has not been updated and states that the complete detail starts at 209, and goes up depending on the condition of car. As someone who habitually cleans their car, I expected my cost to be at the lesser end of the scale. When I arrived to the shop, Kevin(the manager I'm assuming?) came out and examined my car. Told me it would run about 250. It was my fault for agreeing to this price. I left my car there. All day long. They had my car for 8 hours. I get a call around 4 saying my car will be good to go at 5. An hour before they close. I arrive and from a distance my car looks nice, shiny, it looks good. As I walk closer to the vehicle I notice specks all over my front and back windshield, almost like it got sprayed with something and it never got wiped off. Like a glass cleaner just dried on there. I opened the back door on my drivers side and the rubber gasket that protects water from seeping into my car was ripped. I was not happy with the job that was done to my car. I'm not a confrontational person, I paid, took my car and drove home. I had an air freshener in my car on my visor that was in there during the detail process. On my drive home I looked up to see my (8 dollar) air freshener was mangled and looked as if it had been beat and broke. This made me furious. Driving home and looking out my completely disgusting windshield made me even more furious. I finally called a day or two later and complained. Requested a full refund for the 4quarter job they charged $256 for. The manager (Kevin) told me to come in and he would refund me for what went wrong. The place is 45 minutes from my house, I decided if I was getting a refund then this inconvenient drive would be worth it. I get to the shop and Kevin comes out and looks at the car. Says in his 23 years of doing this that he has never had a complaint(which I find unbelievable.) I show him the ripped gasket and he attempts to deny it, says that maybe I didn't ever notice it before it got cleaned. Says it would not be fair to give me a full refund. My idea is that $256 is a small price to pay to keep your 5star reviews. If someone is unhappy with a service, you refund them. No sir, I would not like a free detail coupon from you because why would I want to come back to your shop when you did a terrible job the first time? When you get your car detailed it should come back to you looking like it did the day it left the dealership. A&K does not provide that kind of detailing. Take your money elsewhere.

Had been trying to sell my car online for weeks without much luck or interest. I invested in an interior/exterior detail from A&K, took some pictures, and boom! Sold in three days. That is no joke. If you re looking to sell or looking to fall back in love with your car, take it to A&K.

Recently had my 2017 Mustang windows tinted and a full detail including wax. The quality of the work for the price was excellent and I could not be happier with the service received. To say it looks good as new is an understatement, it looks better than new!

I have a 2006 Honda Element that looks like it just rolled off the factory floor. Outstanding work, attention to detail and thoroughness. Thanks for giving me a brand new vehicle after 11 years and 134,000 miles. Think I'll keep it another 100,000 miles.

they did a fine enough job detailing the car, but didn't honor the price we agreed to, and they weren't customer friendly in ANY way. if you want to skip the explanation, i i didn't feel them trustworthy after my experience.my suv is just over a year old and i keep good care of it washing it at least every 3-4 weeks. was quoted $475 but Jason and i agreed to $450 plus tax. wanting their best job and always appreciating someone's physical labor, i gave Jason a hundred dollar tip when i left the car as a thank you. i called with my credit card info so i could pick the car up after hours and long story short, i was charged $483.18, not $450 plus tax which would be $477. not a big difference at all, but i couldn't find my sun shade and needed to call them anyway.i called and explained the situation to Kevin and he had Jason return my call. Jason called and i again explained not being able to find the sun shade. first thing out of his mouth, and a bit condescendingly, was that they ask all personal items be removed from the car prior to detailing. turns out the shade was stored in my vehicle right where Jason had suggested it might have been (my bad) but Jason's immediate response of transferring the blame to me through stating their personal items policy rubbed me wrongly and made me skeptical.i said i would check in the vehicle and we moved on to item #2, being charged more than we agreed to. i stated my position and Jason responded, yes, that we had agreed to $450 but that he had to add tax to that. $450 plus tax didn't add up to $483.18, i said. then i was told there is a shop materials fee of $3 that everyone is charged. i explained that we agreed to $450 plus tax, not $450 plus tax PLUS a shop fee, also tax on $453 is still less than what i was charged. He wasn't willing to budge or appease me in any fashion, so i feel confirmed they were just charging me a "little" more and i called them out on it. i still have no idea where $483.18 charged to my card comes from. taking 6% sales tax out of $483.18 results in $455.83...???i don't think them trustworthy and won't be back.

Such great work! First time having my car detailed and I feel like it s brand new! Also appreciated the customer service, they were willing to take my car back the next day to fix one small spot! Will return soon!

Amazing EveryTime! We get out cars detailed here and honestly I cannot say enough about A&K. You have to understand it's a treat to get your car detailed but it is something all togather incrediable when A&K Does it. They go beyond the call of duty and I really do not know how they get our cars so beautiful, and smelling sooo good....Getting your car back from A&K Puts in a great mode. You have to take your car there to experience what I am talking about and when you do you will agree, Its A TOTAL EXPERIENCE...Thanks A&K!
