We were new to the RV Camping experience when we arrived at The Falls Camping-ground. Since we have come from Missouri, it took us a little longer to get there with all the traffic and stops. We got there late. The guy who was driving around the camp ground during the evening greeted us very friendly, he even helped my husband guide into the lot in the dark. We asked how we were going to pay since the office was already closed and he was very helpful and friendly and said we could get it all sorted out in the morning and to get some sleep first. After 12 hours on the road, this was absolutely amazing and very accommodating. The next day we sorted it all out and the people at the office were nice, friendly and amazing as well.Even though it s in the middle of the woods and if you are not from around there and have AT&T like us, there is absolutely no reception. However, that really wasn t anything we have missed, since the wifi at The Falls, was one of the best wifi a campground could have. The campground overall was very well kept. You can go fish and release there and we even saw people swim. There are 2 large jungle gyms for the kids and a Basketball court. If you need something from the store, the Dollar General is right across the street. We just walked there it was that close. The showers are large and with the toilets the restroom area has always been clean no matter the time. They already had a hose at the dumping station, which made it very convenient. They are Dog-friendly and all of us loved being around the woods and nature.Overall, we are very satisfied. Thank you The Falls Campground Team for making our first camping experience such a wonderful one! When we visit family again, we will be back!Playground: Have 2 jungle gyms and basketball groundRestrooms: Clean at all timesDog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome, when outside of the camper, dogs must be on leash.Picnic area: Sites have Picnic Tables

The water is lovely. Perfect depth for small children. This is a very child friendly place.I would give five stars but the bathhouse is not great, and the litter is not picked up. I wish campers were more respectful of others and cleaned up after themselves.Staff are very helpful and always around to help.

An absolutely awesome campground with great people!!! Visiting alone I felt very welcomed by SJ and the rest of the staff. They had me playing bags and sitting by the fire singing songs with them. The campground is very well kept and very beautiful right next to the falls. I was able to fall asleep to the sound of the water. Also very nice having convenience store across the street as well as a breakfast/pizza place close by. I really hope I find myself near eastern Kentucky again just so I can stay here! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Awesome campground and kid friendly. Staff was amazing also. Staff offered to help us from day 1 and checked on us during the stay. We will be back.

Friendly staff, fun in the creek, amenities you need. With a dollar store across the street, a pizza place at the gas station, shaved ice too cool off, and the water to play in you dont have to worry about planning activities or forgetting necessities for your camper. Have an issue? Find a friendly staff member and it will be taken care of. We booked our second trip down this summer after a great day of tubing down the falls.Bring water shoes and sand toys as the creek does wash glass down onto the beach at times.

Very clean place. Loved the atmosphere but mostly the view of the falls. The water was very low but it still ran and we enjoyed the sounds of nature.

This is absolutely an amazing place to camp . The campsites do have power and water hookups . The spots are a bit unlevel that's the only down fall. The creekside is amazing , swimming in the day fishing at night . The falls make a lovely sound while falling asleep. The staff are friendly and helpful. They help us put up our camper. The onsite bath house and laundry facility makes thing a whole lot easier. They sale ice and firewood even ice cream. There is a store with a restaurant right down from the campsite.your able to buy what you need even food if you run out. Everyone we encountered we're nice to us . We plan on going back very soon! We celebrated our daughters first birthday.

This is a lovely campground. Got a beautiful spot right by the small falls. The showers, laundry room and bathrooms by the office are neat and clean. The staff is amazing, especially Tom! What a gracious, kind, and helpful group of people. A very family friendly place. If I am in the area again I will definitely return!

The only reason it s only getting 4 stars is that it s very cramped and to me and my own opinion that s not relaxing to me so that s my reasoning on the 4 stars. Now when I first got there I did not like it but after my kids played in the falls and I seen how much fun they were having I could deal with the crampness

My husband and I stayed in one of the small cabins and it was absolutely perfect. Not only is it clean, it has the best staff and other campers there are. Everyone is super nice and they all made our stay the best for our anniversary. Small cabin is one room, bunk bed and a full bed, small fridge, microwave, heat, electricity, and tv. They even have firewood bundles for sale and deliver it to your cabin for you. Cannot wait to go back!!

I stopped here while on the road heading to Abingdon Va from northern Michigan. What a friendly safe environment and the nicest staff ever. The beauty is second to none. Enter from the south highway exit. It is curvy and hilly. Please consider this as a future stop in your travels. I know that I will!

Special people, the owners, and staff are. They bend over backwards to insure that you have a good stay. Recommend this campgrounds highly. It's beautiful, and restful. From delivering wood, to pumping your waste water tanks for you. They are there for you

The drive in 3 different directions are down mountains and very curvy, a lot of blind turns where you cannot see oncoming traffic. I have a 42 5th wheel and navigating the entire park was a chorus and tight around every single turn. They have boulders placed at all of the tight turns, telephone poles at the front of each site with the lot number and your normal trees. It is doable, but not a fun experience.

The apartment was really nice, just wish the mattresses were better they were quite uncomfortable, other than that everything was awesome

You have to book 2 days on weekends which I did not see anywhere on website so we had to book a Sunday so we could just stay 1 night. When I arrived the lady in the office was extremely polite. We went to our site where if we would have set out tent up we could not have walked between our tent and our neighbors suv. So we decided not to stay the night but maybe just enjoy the water for a while. Well the beach is full of broken glass the falls were not what we expected and we stayed for a whole 2 hours from the time we checked in till we decided to leave. Was not all it seems.

Really nice camp ground we have stayed there many times, all the camp sites were nice most of them are fairly spacious. The camp hosts are always very helpful. The only issue i had is the check in/booking is slow they only have one computer so it ls to be expected. Also the wifi isn't very reliable and there is no cell service for AT&T (Verizon does). That's probably not that big a deal for most campers cause its not for me.

Very scenic. Family friendly. It's a little too packed for my taste but that's just personal preference.

The bath house is super clean and nice. We tent camp and were placed out of sight of the falls as was the only other tent though there were plenty of pretty shaded spots in view of the falls when we arrived and left. We were not told about the bathrooms in a trailer and hiked to the bath house until we happened to be on the side of the trailer to see the signs. The grounds are very nicely kept. The grounds keepers and staff were very nice - though they did decide they needed to grate gravel by our tent at 7:45 one morning. Water above the falls is below the ankle and decent temperature. Below the falls is icy cold. We would recommend with the explanation of being sure you ASK for a falls view. If we had been given that this would have been a 5 star plus.

Awesome place. I made a reservation last minute while traveling, we ended up getting here around 9pm on a Sunday, in the middle of a huge storm. While looking at our spot trying to figure out how to get in without getting stuck, a man came out and immediately offered us a pull thru spot with gravel, so we could easily get out in the morning. He guided us in, and gave us all the info we needed. He was very friendly, and helpful. Excellent customer service!

Perfect campground for families. And that was our problem, as we are retired. We were in Site 14, which was a cut-thru to the beach for most of the kids. During day and early evening, it is very noisy with side-by-sides and golf carts running non-stop. Tennis court and playground were directly across from us, and those were always filled with kids. Be careful on the beach as there is a lot, and I mean a lot, of broken glass. Also, we found that not all dog owners cleaned up after their dogs. Also, we were not given any info for Wi-Fi or TV. Didn't know it was even available until our stay was almost over. Will not return
