I had a Stabilitrack issue woth my 2017 Acadia the other day and they fixed it quick! The owner (David) was super nice, thorough, and honest. He didn't charge me an arm and a leg either! I highly recommend these guys.

These guys are super take all my car troubles to them they get the job done if they can't fix it they help me fined someone who can nice,friendly,reasonable just a super bunch like dealing with them check them I don't think you will be disappointed

My son and I decided to take his older Ford Ranger (1993) pickup from Ohio to FL to drop off and help out a niece. This car has been a family car (use to belong to my dad) and always has worked well. So we take off on our road trip and 3 hours down the road from home the car suddenly starts to lose power in the engine as we begin driving up and down the hills of KY. We knew something was wrong so we pulled off the highways to the nearest exit (London, KY).This happened Sunday afternoon (Mother s Day) so we found nothing open except some auto parts stores. We locate an Advanced Auto part store and attempt to diagnose the problem. There were two amazing workers who tried to help us, but to no avail. At this point it s late in the day, we re tired and hungry, and really didn t have much choice besides staying the night in London and hope to find a decent mechanic (that would not gouge us or have us wait days to get seen) the next day. We said a prayer and went to bed. After reading several reviews, I decided to call in Schotts auto repair shop.As I call in, the voice on the other end was warm and cheerful. As I explained our situation he empathize with us and went on to say to bring the car in asap to see what they could do. We said another prayer and quickly packed up and went. We were greeted at Schott s by the kindest man named David. He quickly got the car checked out. He said I can drop you off at a restaurant as you wait for your car to be fixed. So we agreed.The tricky thing with our particular vehicle is that since it s an older truck it has doesn t have a way to hook up to a diagnostic machine. So everything being done to it was a guessing game. The mechanic started by thinking it could be the catalyst converter but then after talking it over, that idea was disregarded. Later we went on with perhaps the problem being a bad spark plug & or wires so we decided to get those all changed. We now had paid about $230 (which I thought was reasonable for 8 spark plugs & wires and the fact they got as in asap.)We drove it around and thought it might have fixed things since it had looked like one of the spark plugs were bad. So David said farewell, told us to call when we reached FL and we drove away. However we had not had a chance to even get back on I75 when we realized the problem still persisted. Ugh! By now it s mid afternoon and we start to think FL might not be the direction we can or should continue.That s where we decide to abort mission, and figure out Plan B.Since we weren t that far from home we decided we need to figure how to get back car and all. Well guess who was available to help? Yep! David! By now when I called in, he recognized our number by heart. So I was greeted on the other end. Hello! Don t tell me you ve already reached FL? LolYou see .he was not only an auto mechanic shop but he was also Uhaul store as well. So we decided to get a truck and auto trailer. David again was so helpful and patient to help us find the safest equipment for our trip home. We finally found everything needed and we were on our way. I know God placed him in our path as an Angel. Thank you David for helping Chris and I during our stressful road trip. This place deserves 10 stars ! I returned a uhaul here & the gentleman I dealt with was very kind & caring man, .something that you don t find everywhere. Very professional & courteous. I would definitely recommend & plan on doing business in the future.

Schott's is by far the greatest experience I've had dealing with a mechanic. I am from Michigan and was visiting my grandmother is Kentucky when I started to have various vehicle issues. I called Schott's and spoke with a hilarious gentleman who assured me he would have his boys take a look at my vehicle issues and quickly (week faster than 4 other shops I called).I received my vehicle fully repaired after only two business days. They did a wonderful job and I ended up spending an hour or so just talking with the boys in the shop.Seems the negative reviews are based around the fact this shop is closed on Sunday which is obviously for religious reasons. Respect this shop and its crew and will be returning in the future and also recommending to any folks needing a great team of mechanics.Services: Tires, Auto A/C recharge, Electrical, Auto A/C replacement, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Oil change

Always have the best prices and best variety of used tires if you're looking for just a temporary replacement tire to make it until payday. This is the shop for you. Of course they have a wide selection of other items they can order as well and they've been in business for a lot of years and the service they give explains the reason why. I always use Schott's for my tire service needs, no matter if I'm needing a good cheap replacement tire to do until payday or having my tires rotated, balanced. Or if I'm having four new ones put on Schott's is the shop I choose!

This place goes above and beyond for its customers. Every time I call this place they always send me a recommendation, one of the cheapest ones I see. For instance, other day was supposed to have my car looked at, I wasn t able to make it because my key broke off in ignition, I called shotts, they wasn t mad one bit and tried everything they could to help and they recommended me to the only guy who could fix it that time of night, on a weekend. Saved me from a tow bill & being stranded a extra night. Will always go to shotts for any repairs needed or even just for advice. Awesome, honest people, very rare these days.

We recently had someone knife our tire and it was still a fairly good tire and we didn't want to have to buy a new one so we took it to schotts to see if they could do anything for it and they had it fixed within one day and only charged 20 $!! They where very nice friendly and helpful would recommended to anyone. Very reasonable pricing and fast service 5 stars!!!

The service is amazing there. I had problems with my brakes and I knew they were fixing to go out and I stopped there to get them fixed and the next morning they had my van ready to go. Another great thing, it didn't cost me a small fortune either. I highly recommend this place for when you need work done on your vehicle.

At 4:40 pm on a Friday afternoon, while heading home to Michigan, my son broke down on the freeway with a bad water pump, broken drive belt and leaking head gasket. David at Schott's was not only willing to work a Saturday in order to get them back on the road, but he also stayed till 6:30 that night waiting for tow truck to drop their vehicle off. Schott's fixed the car quickly and in a thorough, safe, cost effective manner. He even provided transport from their hotel. In LESS THAN 24 HOURS my son was back on the road for his 7-hour trip home, without over-paying. I can't promise you'll get them to work a weekend but they will absolutely put your best interest first while providing quality service with honesty and integrity.Service: Engine repair

While traveling from Michigan to Alabama I lost a rear caliper on a 2000 up 17 Dodge ram just purchased it these fellas at this gas station squeezed me in instantly only charged me very minimal I was very shocked they had me by the balls traveling to Alabama very fair very kind I did tip them very well and I hope that they pass everything on to their kids that they are instilling in their business God bless these guys thank you so much and thanks to them I was able to complete my trip safely highly recommended

The mechanic was the rudest person I have ever met. He acted crazy disagreeing with the owner on what was wrong with my car. He wouldn't even look me in the eyes as he talked to me like I was his kid, which made me want to hit him. He acted like he didn't want to even work on my car. Constantly demanded for more parts even though I had diagnostics run on my vehicle but ,he insisted not asked, for even more expensive parts that my readout didn't say I needed. He got mad when I said I wanted my old parts back after replacement. I have NEVER I MEAN NEVER been talked to so poorly. But the older guy made up for bgg it in the end with a modest price. I guess they knew he upset me.

I went all last summer with no air conditioner because this other mechanic put to much coolant in it but Schotts fixed it in just 5 min. Super friendly, reasonable prices...
