Well if I had of left this review back in March I when I had my alternator fixed I would ve left five stars. We were stuck in Lexington on our way home to western Kentucky. But now 9 months later my alternator went out again and he refuses to allow me to use the warranty unless he s the one to test it. So I m having to pay to fix it again less than a year later. He was very rude with me on the phone when I called today as well

My husband and mother went here today to drop his truck off for a $70 alignment. Minutes after leaving he received a phone call stating that they couldn't service his truck because of other parts that needed to be replaced in order for them to do the alignment. He was quoted over $700 for parts and labor which he told the worker he wasn't able to pay at that time. The worker (don't know his name) stated that my husband still owed him a diagnostics fee of $40. My husband never requested a diagnostic, only the alignment. My mother questioned why he was responsible for something that wasn't requested nor were told about upfront and his disrespectful, unprofessional response was "any one with common sense would know that they would be charged". I am appalled at the type of service that they received today! My husband had no choice but to pay the $40 diagnostics fee as they held his truck hostage until paid. We will NEVER do business with this shop ever again! I will post to every social media and review site that I can find and will also be filing a complaint with the BBB to get the word out in hopes that no one else receives this sort of service. Especially from a shop who promotes "35 years professional experience".

Wheels is just by my house and they are such easy people to work with. This winter my car battery wouldn t start and I desperately needed to get to an appt. the roads were covered in snow and ice and they came out directly after we hung up the phone. They jumped my battery, got me to the shop and then promptly replaced my battery. Not only that, they gave me a discount on my super expensive Volvo battery. I really feel like they take care of their customers!

Extremely rude and unprofessional behavior. I had a set of tires installed, balanced and aligned. A couple of months later they began to shimmy and I brought them back. I then paid him again for balancing my wheels a second time because they were all out of balance. When I questioned him why they needed to be balanced again, I didn't get a straight answer, he called me an a__hole and told me not to come back. I feel like I paid for unneeded services and the quality of the service is poor. Do not trust your car with these people.

I used this place while out if town. The man who helped me was very friendly and helped made me and my family as comfortable as possible while waiting. Done a great job on my vehicle. Recommend this garage!

Ricky (the mechanic who owns the shop) was very disrespectful, rude, unprofessional and racist towards my mother and I. He put off fixing my car for a week and he lost my keys. I had my car towed to Ricky in Oct 6th and called him about it on the 8th and I did not get it fixed till today and today is the 15th. The reason I had my car towed there because it was not starting and the engine was misfiring. He told me all I needed was a new alternator which was $376. He put a new alternator in there but, he told me my cars engine was still having issues. I asked him if he could check to see what the issue might be and he said it would cost an extra $75. I kindly declined the payment even though he was supposed to look at the engine anyway. When I went to go pick up my car my mother was on the phone and wanted to talk to Ricky and ask him why my car was still having issues and why it didn t make sense for me to have to put in more money towards the car. My mother was being respectful and polite towards Rickey and in response he was being real rude and disrespectful towards her by cutting her off while she was trying to talk and not listening to what she had to say. After he collected payment from my mom he was being even more disrespectful and said that Time is money ma am and walked away from the phone as she was trying to talk to him. Then he turned to me and said I have nothing else to say to her. I asked him if he could at least listen to my mother while she was talking because walking away from her and not listening to what she has to say is really disrespectful. At this point he is yelling at me, telling me he s not disrespecting anybody and telling me that I need to stop giving him lip. I tell him not to talk to me or my mother like that and he the says to me You should act like you have some damn sense and you need to leave my shop now, Boy. As I m leaving he s following me out the door. I turn around and look at him and he sticks his middle finger at me. I told him he was acting like a child and he comes out the shop and follows me to my car and repeats several times, what you gonna do about it boy, what you gonna do about it boy? As I open my door to get in my car, he kicks the inside of my door. I close my door and drive off.I ve never felt so mistreated or disrespected by any business in my life. I will NEVER seek service from this shop again and I would recommend no one work with this mechanic ever again. This was a terrible experience. If I could rate this with no stars I would because he does not even deserve one.

Horrible experience rick the owner told me on the phone that the inspection was free so i went and got the inspection after the inspection he told me what all needed fix then as i went to leave he wanted to charge me 20$ wich isint a big deal but i didnt bring it with me cause on the phone he said it was free so he wouldnt give me my keys back so i could leave! So i had to walk back home to get the cash and walk back to get my car! Very unprofessional

If your car has transmission problems Don't take it to Wheels Service On Cox Street He Rip Women Off take their money without fitting my truck had to sue him

Shop personnel are very knowledgeable and courteous. Work is done in a timely manner. I've been a customer for almost 20 years when had a different owner.

Had car for 7 days. Did not know how to fix.No phone calls to update us. We had to tow car to another repair shop.
