I've been taking my car to Wayne for years for maintenance and repairs and have gotten great service and advice. I am meticulous about taking care of my car. I have never felt like I was pushed to have service that wasn't necessary. Wayne runs an honest business.

White Indian guy with white beard acted like an idiot. No wonder most people hate going to car shops. Be rude to the wrong person next time it might bite you

This is literally the best auto shop ever. As a female it is always scary to have a car problem. I had a huge problem. My car literally just started acting up on the highway and shut off. Wayne and his guys knew in moments it was an electrical issue and had it fixed in a day. It was such amazing customer service, the shop is nice, and as someone from out of town it was very calming. I was explained what the part was that I needed and what it did for my car. In simple words that I understood. Incredible experience,Service: Electrical repair

I took my car here after moving from Wisconsin. My exhaust had a hole in it. Wayne not only showed me the hole but also gave me the best advice on how to get it fixed... And it wasn't thru his shop! He didn't charge me anything for looking at my car either. As someone who doesn't have a lot of money to spend, I can tell you I will rely on this shop always.

Wayne looked at my Fiat 500 that was giving me weird error message that could indicate major transmission issues. He was thorough and careful and when he came to the conclusion that it was a computer issue, not a mechanical issue, he only charged me for the initial diagnostic, not the hours he spent troubleshooting, since he couldn't fix the problem. Also, his oil changes are less than Valvoline. He obviously cares about his work and about getting you the best solution, not just making a buck. Highly recommend!

Quality First Auto Care was recommended to my mom by a coworker. When I originally started going to them, I had a Honda Accord that they did work on and seemed to do a good job. A few months later, I sold my Accord and bought an Acura TSX. Being that Quality First did a good job on my previous car, I decided to stick with them, until one morning. The night before I was visiting one of my friends in Lexington. That evening I went to try and start the car and it would do nothing but continue to crank. I tried several times but could not get the car to start. At this point I called a towing company and had the car towed over to Quality First so they could diagnose the problem and get me back on the road asap. I also informed the mechanic that for several months I have been hearing a very loud rattle upon cold start in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon as well.A few days later, I get a call from Quality First explaining that my timing chain had jumped and that was the cause of failure. I was informed that the oil pressure was low and that s one of the contributing factors to why the timing chain had jumped. The total repair costed 1200.00 if I remember correctly and they couldn t promise whether or not damage was done to the valves and pistons when it jumped. (This I understand, as most Honda/Acura s are built this way). When I went to pick up my vehicle, I was told that the loud rattle I was hearing upon cold start was a bad thing and that should ve been my main indication that there was a problem and the timing chain was in jeopardy of jumping . Well GUESS WHAT? Only a day after getting my vehicle back and I go out to start my car and leave for work There s that very loud rattle AGAIN. I didn t have any other problems with the timing chain, but the rattle did not go away. That afternoon I called Wayne over at Quality First and let him know that I was still getting the rattle sound. I mean, he DID tell me that was an indication I should ve paid attention to, which led up to the timing chain. So after talking to Wayne, he tells me to bring the vehicle back in and they will look at it. For almost 2 weeks, they had my car and could not figure out where the rattle was coming from. I continued to wait patiently after having my car with them for close to 3 weeks. When I haven t heard back from them, I decided to call again. Wayne explained to me that he had to get a second look at the car from somebody else who was a Honda technician and he would get back to me. So another week goes by and I still haven t heard anything At this point I haven t had my car for a month, so I call once again and basically just get told We re still looking at it .I end up having to drive to Lexington one night to pick up my mom and there sits my Acura outside of the garage. So much for having it for a month and really being a priority to get it looked at. At this point, I had enough they haven t done anything but look at it and haven t had very much communication with me at all So I get my spare key, come back up to Lexington and I drive it home. I called the next morning and let them know I have decided to pick up my car never mind about looking at it any further. I called and asked for the key back and THEY LOST IT! No wonder it was sitting out front the ENTIRE time I wonder if it ever made the way in the garage in the first place. So there s my story. They *DID* fix the timing chain, but they had no idea about the rattle and wasted a month of my time with very poor communication. Needless to say, if I ever have another Honda/Acura again, it will never go to these people again. My advice to you RUN

My family, immediate and extended, have come to rely on Mr. McKnight's great service and expert knowledge.Everyone knows how hard it is to find a competent auto expert they can trust, and Quality First gives you something on top of that which is even harder to find theses days- peace of mind at a fair price.6 out 5 stars.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Charged me over 50$ to simply read the computer in my car. I had just been to AutoZone (where that test is free) and nothing came up on the system. I told them this and they charged me for the test anyway. After a 90$ service fee they returned my car and told me "nothing's wrong we checked everything." My car broke down on the way back from their shop.

Didn't do anything. I was stuck with car troubles with my 85 year old Mother in a Hotel and had just been diagnosed with another form of Cancer.

They charge $85 to read the computer codes on your car. No matter if you have the work done there or not. They are friendly that is for sure but $85 to read the computer codes is a total scam.
