Went to get a slow leak checked out in my tire and service was amazing! Jordan got me in early before my appointment and was on top of making sure I was taken care of. Very happy with my experience and highly recommend this Midas location!

Avoid this place if you need diagnostics, it may work for you if you know exactly what work/parts your car needs. 1000$ of unnecessary repairs done on my vehicle. Similar to another reviewer here who was charged 900$ and they didn't fix the problem. Their diagnostics cost 50$ and they use it to throw new parts on your vehicle. I am so annoyed with myself for going to this place a second time. I am just not used to that way of doing business. Was Midas costumer four years in Indiana, what a disappointment Midas isn't holding same high standards for all of their locations. Changed oil in Feb' '23 and asked to see why AC heat isn't running, they changed the pump for 300$ and it was still running cold air, I ended up making an appointment to another place to fix it for 120$, had to wait for two weeks for them to do it. Two months later asked to see what is that clicking sound when I drive over bumps. They charged me 680$ for new suspension parts + installing. I left the place, drove for five minutes and the clicking sound is still here, I come back, they look for the loose part with a flashlight for 3 minutes, bent some loose nut and here I go, no noise. Spoke with their general manager, I was ready to pay for the labor but wanted at least some of my money back. He said I can't return the parts that were installed and my parts are in a garbage (?!) I didn't need those repairs in a first place. The GM said he will talk to me on Tuesday, but it's Thursday 5PM and I haven't heard from him.

I took the wheels off my utility trailer up there to get new tires that I had purchased mounted. As soon as I pulled up the tech came out of the garage to ask what I needed. He immediately went to work and had the job done in about 15 minutes. Everyone I talked to there was super friendly and the prices were very fair.

Needed my muffler replaced and they hooked me up with an unbeatable price. Got the job done quickly as well. Will definitely be one of my top considerations if I ever need something else done with my exhaust. I had an Around great experience here

Since late September, I have had to come back here for my brakes more times than I can count. Originally, my brakes went flat and they replaced my master cylinder (around 700 dollars). My brakes lasted for about a month until they went flat while I was driving. I brought it in and they said it was a "bad" master cylinder and replaced it for free. This second master cylinder lasted for three weeks. I came back in and they said they just now noticed that my brake vacuum valve was broken and needed to be replaced. I had to wait over a week for a new valve to come in and they never called me like they said they would. The new valve lasted for three days. I came back in, they told me the new valve broke and put my old one back in and told me they needed to order another one. Today with the heavy rain, the valve broke and I hydro-planed, nearly hitting a car in front of me if I didn't pull over to the side. This has been the most frustrating car experience and each time I have come in, they don't remember me (even though I was coming in several times for the past few months). There are better places to go who will actually consider your safety.Service: Brakes

I'm very disappointed with everything with midas. I needed a transmission, and instead of simply referring me to someone else who knows what they're doing. They just tried to charge my warranty company 4,000 dollars more which they refuse to pay that amount but midas claim they had to get their supplies some company blah blah but I ened up taking my car someone which actually got a new transmission from the actual Nissan parts and took less then a week to get my car back and was 6,000 less than what midas was trying to charge me.

Good place to get work done. Not a "polished" environment if you are the snooty types, but fair pricing and solid work.

On my way to the auto parts store for some new batteries for my pickup. Along the way one of the batteries exploded... I don t just mean cracked... I mean a mini Chernobyl explosion of battery acid under the hood. Pulled into the new circle Midas and without waiting 5 min, the truck was being looked at by a tech.2 new interstate batteries and an alternator later my truck has never ran this well. The owner and techs were great. Friendly and let me look at everything that was bad before replacing. The owner even followed the service up with a call a few hours later to make sure everything was running well. Highly recommend these guys when you re in a pinch. Parts and labor pricing were all well within what I would pay elsewhere or at the dealer.

Called them due to a flashing check-engine light 7 hours from home. They got me in immediately, and started work to get back on the road in a few hours. Super kind people and let me bring my dog in the waiting area. Highly recommend.

AVOID THIS PLACE, they will take advantage and price gauge you. Had my brakes and rotors changed a couple weeks ago for $800. Seemed *extremely* expensive but I needed it done badly and quickly, so I paid it. Yesterday, my brakes went out on New Circle Road. When I took it back, they said the caliper needed to be replaced for $565, even though they did a caliper service the first time. After further investigation, they accidentally charged me for 2 calipers and would not have been caught unless questioned. They blamed it on the new guy who doesn t know the system well, but that s on them for putting one person in charge of people s money when they don t understand the computer system. There are plenty of other places in Lexington, so I suggest going elsewhere and not taking the risk here.Service: Brakes

I've been back to these people several times and I still hear the same noise. It costed me $978.00 and they wasn't too happy each time I came back. Very very dissatisfied. I have used Midas for years and years and this is how they treat a customer.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto exhaust system replacementServices: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto exhaust system replacement

I went in there with an appointment for an oil change, came on time. The guy, as soon as I came in, had a I don t care tone/attitude. I told him I was there to do a conventional oil change and I asked him if he could plug in one of those diagnostic tools into my fuse box to tell me why my check engine light is on. He said, that ll be $59. I laughed thinking he was joking but after a moment of silence I asked are you serious? He said yup that s a full diagnostic test. First of all, I didn t even need a full diagnostic test (not even sure what that included) but all I asked for was a simple thing that pretty much any mechanic shop will do as a courtesy. Second of all, whatever that diagnostic package was had a sign right in front of me saying 29.99 ... I told him I wasn t interested, I d just take the oil change. I showed him a coupon I had for an $18 oil change and without taking a look he said nope that s expired I looked and told him that no the date was still good on it (it was) and he said he was sure those stopped last month. I showed him a barcode, code, and everything from my email and he said well it s still gonna be a bit over 30 I asked him what the fees were, because I know there s the oil disposal and some other small fees plus taxes but I ve never had my price on an oil change go up that much in just fees and he said well you should know it won t cost you $18 very sarcastically. I told him thank you and walked away. This was, by far, the worst and most ridiculous combination of customer service and up-charging that I have ever experienced. I sure hope their other locations aren t this bad but as far as this one goes, would not ever recommend it to anyone.

I went to Midas on New Circle Road for the first time on 09-05-2013 because my exhaust manifold on my 2002 F-150 was leaking extremely bad. My truck was not running properly and it was missing and about to stall if I would slow to an idle. I spoke to the Manager whose name was Robin and he gave me a very fair price to repair my truck. They were able to begin the repair right away and they completed the job as promised. They did a Wonderful job and the mechanic even took the time to show me where the manifold had been leaking and where there were also two holes in the unit that it was also leaking from. The amount of my Bill was exactly what Robin had quoted and they did not try to up-sale or find other problems with my vehicle. I am extremely Happy with my choice to have Midas repair my truck and I will definitely go there when I need any further work or repairs done to my vehicle.

There's no way anyone in their right mind took the time to leave this apparent scam squad more than one star. I refuse to believe that the five star comments came from anyone but an employee. Other than urging you to read other comments for yourself, something I should have done before signing my name, here's why:I took my '02 protege5 in for an AC vac/charge after calling around and hearing prices as low as $50 and as high as $100 from competitors. I knew they were charging $163 for the job, but I figured that was the price of immediacy, and I figured a national chain that advertises the ability to trust them would have some kind of guarantee or structured integrity. These were horrible, HORRIBLE assumptions.Evidently, their system of checking for leaks is only a small portion of their perpetual money-sucking company. There is no on-site test, which may not exist anywhere; I don't know, but I do know that their method is to fill your AC system full of toxic gas and couple it with a dye so that they can spot the leak when it all ends up in the atmosphere... a process that took my system two days.I called back to set up an appointment for an even week after the first (6/9/16 & 6/16/16), being that Thursdays are my only day off, and there was no empathy from the service writer/manager/whatever; I'll certainly not share what I would call him. I get there, and the result is that he wants to drain me of $700+ more dollars, with no credit or refund for the prior overcharging. I didn't exactly comprehend the breakdown, due to my having difficulty hearing anything over the sound of smoke rolling out of my ears when he said his price was four hundred something on ONE PRESSURE HOSE and continued to explain that MY price was five hundred and something on the part... tacked on some more ridiculousness, and ended up over seven hundred. I didn't have to look up the part or the labor to know that price would have scolded me, but I did after I left, and now I'm even more furious... enough to go out of my way and write my first Google review ever. There is good news. I was able to somewhat peacefully ask the man to stop talking and have his tech pull my car out.

6 hours from my home Midas, and having tire sensor issues, I pulled in 15 minutes before close on a gorgeous Saturday. They totally could have blown me off-clocked out and gone home, but instead, checked my pressures and assured me I could get home. Love Midas!

I had a very pleasant experience at Midas. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I didn't feel as if they were rushing with my service and appreciated the extra time they took to answer my questions. I mostly liked that I wasn't pressured to buy any extra services or products. I will recommend them to others.

We had to stop in while traveling, treated with such caring, compassionate, dedicated service. All the employees were so welcoming and helpful. The hospitality they offered was magnificent. We had all around brakes and calibers changed and out back on our way in less than two hours. Very thankful for this team!

How do you write a zero star review? My daughter took her car in for squeaking brakes...she was told that she needed a complete brake job, front and rear, pads, shoes, rotors, drums...and her oil pan gasket was leaking...and the car wasn't safe to drive...etc...She gave them my phone number and they called me (and her) incessantly. We were at my other daughter's college graduation and couldn't take the call - and it's a good thing, because one thing I HATE is impatient, pushy people. When I was finally able to call them, it somehow changed to a much less serious brake issue, but they still wanted $1,000 to do the work. I told them to park it out front and my daughter would pick it up so I could do the work (few hundred $$ in parts, max). When she went to get the car, somehow the battery (just a year old) was dead. Now I'm not saying they left something on to drain the battery out of spite, but it's odd to me how we haven't had a single issue until we decided not to pay their exorbitant prices and all of a sudden - blam! Dead battery. What a coincidence.Yeah, not impressed. Not impressed at all.

Don't ever take your vehicle here. Improper installation caused my calipers to seize and they didn't do the service as they specified. On top of that, my vehicle had been serviced several times at the Southland location but they never entered the service in the electronic record. I guess because we paid with cash the service went under the table. Take yours to a reputable dealer or someone you trust.

It used to be that I would give them five stars but that was under old management. Recently I was charged 599.00 for a part I called around and checked the prices on. The part cost between 166.00 and 240.00 and they charged me 599.00 saying that was the cheapest they could find and when I complained about that they told me their computer charges are set up already and that they had no control over it. Hmmm. Next time I might have to go somewhere else like the Midas off southland drive.

Great customer service, have gone to them now three times with two different vehicles. They gave me an estimate each time and all three times the work was done in a reasonable time and one of the most friendly man I have ever dealt with is in charge. I will keep going back to them for all my work.

David and his team do top notch work, in a timely manner, and at a very fair price. There are mechanics who have worked at the same location for 40 years-- that says a lot! My husband and I always appreciate how communicative David is with us about the status of our cars and work performed on them. Five stars for a great team!

I had a tire pop on my way home one day. I originally went to the Midas on Saron Dr. and got it replaced. All was well until a week later, we hit a bump and the band in my tire snapped. Since my BRAND NEW TIRE was now constantly deflating. I went back to this Midas since they were closer to where they work. They said I needed a brand new tire... but were nice enough to take off the Labor charge because they understood that I really wasn't expecting to have to replace the same tire again so soon.Spent a couple hours there, got it fixed up. They insisted that my tire pressure monitor was broken too so that would have to be replaced. I figured now is as good a time as any so I let them do it, paid my bill and left. Only to find my TPMS light on after a few minutes of driving. I got a call later that evening also saying that they even forgot to put the hubcap back on my tire. So the next day when I returned to get my hubcap, I mentioned the light to them and they did nothing. Claimed that it was nothing that they had done wrong, even though the light was not there before. I had never even seen the TPMS light before.I ended up getting all four tires replaced and re-aligned ELSEWHERE.

We went to MIdas because we heard a strange noise. The counter tech took our car to the bay. After a few minutes he asked us to come look at the problem. It was an EGR hose. He said he would get us a price. As he was leaving he said they would check the car over to see if everything else was okay. We told him that we already knew we needed a serpentine belt. We waited for over an hour for an estimate. He finally came out and handed me a paper with a pen and said sign here. I looked down and saw a bill for $244. I asked him what this was because we just wanted an estimate. As it turned out they had put a serpentine belt and a egr hose on my car without my permission. He then said okay and came back with another bill for $144. He said I took the serpentine belt off. I told him he needed to take everything off because we never got the estimate. We received nothing in the way of an apology. The keys were given to us by the mechanic. If you are brave enough to go to Midas then make sure they understand you just want an estimate. I think they are just wanting the business. We purchase the egr hose for $10. An employee at Auto zone put it on is less than 5 minutes.

I came in there with an appointment, and they would not help me at all. They tried one thing and sent me away, 6 months pregnant when I told them my car kept stopping on me in the middle of the road. Go to the Midas on Southland drive, they at least want your business. They told me they could not fix it and go somewhere else. The other Midas did just fine. They must not want people's business. Extremely unfriendly and unwilling to help people in need.
