I would like to give the quality of work 5 stars, however the customer service was a little frustrating. I was told that I would receive phone calls with updates on the progress and I never received the first call. The lady at the front desk was outstanding and should be very appreciated. I was told three different dates within a week that my truck would be ready then only realized it was ready when I drove by the facility and my truck was parked outside. This is why I gave 3 stars and I was really upset about the entire customer service situation .

South broadway collision was the worst ever. I was looking for my review from a few years ago couldn t find it so I m posting again.Let s do the good first. So the good they fixed my car. Repaired the damage from the car wreck couldn t tell the difference. (Damage to back lift and bumper)-The bad. The repair took forever!-They ate the hard mints out of my car, all were individually wrapped mints.-Although aesthetically speaking my car was fixed, the sensors had issues over and over and the automatic lift had issues. Took my car to another shop, turns out there was a paint cans worth of glass in the door. Great job guys!-a week before my car was done meaning before I got the call I saw my car being driven by the workers at the time I just figured they were testing driving to make sure everything was okay. After finding everything else out I figured they were just joy riding (you make your own decision on that)- lastly I got my car back and the tires were near flat. Recommend PSI was 36 for mine the actual reading 20 when I got it. Enough air to drive on not enough to keep driving safely.WORST!!!! People ever!!!

I am currently mid-repair for a damaged sliding van door. I dropped off my company's van on 9/25. They gave an estimated repair time of 8-9 business days. I called 2 days later to see once they disassembled the door if there was any unforeseen parts that needed to be ordered which would cause further delay. Josh stated there were some parts that needed to be ordered and the new delivery date would be 10/10. I called multiple times on 10/9 for an update as no one had contacted me. I could not reach Josh, the project manager. I left a VM for Josh to call me back. I received no call back the following day so I called again. Again Josh isn't in and they can't tell me what day he is supposed to return. The lady answering the phone was very polite and apologetic. She states the system shows a delivery date of 10/19. However, the receptionist I spoke to yesterday said 11/1.My business partner calls them back and they now say they just started work on the van yesterday and it will be a 2.5 month repair and it won't be ready until January. At the very best this place is incompetent.UPDATE: There was a significant delay sourcing an important replacement part once they began the repairs. They made a mistake in the beginning by an employee that no longer works at the facility (see above). Once they realized the mistake they made extra effort to provide good service. Richard was good about communicating updates during the process. The vehicle was returned on 12/26 (3 months after drop off).

I have used South Broadway Collision Center in the past and had only great experiences with their quality of work and customer service. Yet, recently I took my Audi in to have a rear panel worked on due to a hit and run. Without question, I took it into South Broadway Collision Center immediately for repair. They were fantastic, gave me a quote and a quick appointment. During the time the car was being repaired, I got steady updates of the cars progress and they even repaired sooner than expected. Upon pickup everyone was very helpful, asked if I had any questions and if I was happy with the work, which I was. While driving home from South Broadway Collision I noticed severe scratches on my steering wheel. These scratches were not on the vehicle when I dropped them off, so I called and told my handler that I would be returning to show them the damage that was inflicted while the car was being repaired. Over that weekend, I noticed even more damage. There was overspray of paint on the windows and part of the black trim along where the repairs had been made. I brought the car back into South Broadway to discuss the damage with the Manager. They told me that they had photographs of the steering wheel prior to its repair and that the scratches were indeed on the wheel in the photograph. When they showed me the photograph you can not clearly see if the scratches are there or not. They went on to say that the only reason they photographed that portion of the vehicle is because the steering wheel already had scratches on it, but you can tell they just zoomed in on a photograph taken of the entire driver side interior. The Manager also went on to tell me that he was not a professional photographer and that scratches are very hard to photograph, I took pictures of the wheel very easily to show there are now scratches on it. I am very displeased with my service at South Broadway Collision. They have lost a customer for life, and I will never recommend this Business to anyone. They do fantastic work, but a mistake is a mistake. I would have hoped they would take responsibility, but they didn't. I hope this post helps anyone who has had issue with them before.

I just had my car fixed. They did a superb job. I am having mobility issues and they helped with that situation. The customer service is fantastic. They kept me up to date on the progress via phone and email. I am happy with the results. Thank you so much for all that you guys have done.

This body shop was extremely slow getting the work done on our company vehicle even after changing the finish date repeatedly and blaming parts not being in and labor issues. The communication could have been worlds better, but it was not. I will not be taking my other 12 vehicles there in the future.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

Every person that I spoke with at this location was kind, courteous, and polite. The body work that was performed on my GMC truck was excellent. Dan communicated with me multiple times during the process and when he said he would call me back - he did, within an hour! There were no surprises, no "add-on costs", no red flags from the estimate appointment straight through to picking up the finished product! I never leave reviews, but this was such a positive experience that they left me no choice!Service: Body & Trim

This company and group of people are outstanding. The shop itself is clean, comfortable and the office is inviting. The office manager is courteous, personable and efficient. The workers are clean, courteous and polite. their work is exemplary. I highly recommend Carstar Auto Body and Repair. Treat yourself knowing your vehicle is in good hands.

Hopefully I will never have to get my car repaired again, but if I do I will definitely choose CARSTAR - they were excellent throughout the entire process. The customer service I received was compassionate and professional. The shop manager provided a free estimate while I waited, which only took a few minutes. The parts were ordered and my car was in the shop just a few days later. To my surprise and delight, my car was finished and ready for pickup the same day I dropped it off! The repairs were exactly in line with the estimate I was given, and the work performed was of excellent quality. And they even detailed the inside of the car - it was cleaner when I picked it up than it was when I left it with them.l would definitely recommend this shop to anyone in need of body work!

Sent my car in after another car had hit the back. Heather and the CarStar mechanics did a great job communicating between the insurance company and myself! Picked the car up after a couple weeks and it looks brand new. They did a great job. The mechanics even touched up a little rust spot that was starting. Very professional company and the team is so friendly. Thanks for everything!

Excellent job! Everything was perfect. They replaced a front fender and front bumper and a headlight and a fog light and they even did extra work they didn t have to do, not only on my car but my moms car as well. Front end damage, estimate given , time span discussed. 2day repair. They came through. They updated me on the profess and their customer service experience was exceptional. I know the business of auto body and Car Star South Broadway has always given great customer service, exceptional craftsmanship. In body damage and will not give false promises. Great experience!! James went above and beyond to repair my 2017 BMW X3. The paint job was incredible and the best work I ve seen. South Broadway Collision Center was very helpful, professional and really takes pride in the work and service they provide to their customers. Would definitely recommend them and will use them again if I have future repair needs. I was pleasantly surprised when they finished my car a day earlier than the promise date. Hands down great company and very reasonably priced!!

I was impressed by the professionalism exhibited by all the Carstar employees that I encountered, from the time I received my estimate until I picked up my repaired vehicle. Everyone was especially knowledgeable about the process and each individual genuinely cared about helping me, turning an otherwise unpleasant experience (car damage) into positive one. Without question, I would recommend getting your car serviced by the Carstar team.

This is the most amazing body repair shop. Hands down the best workmanship. Kudos to all the staff that are employed by this biz and worked on our vehicle. Dan is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I was provided status updates throughout the process which was unexpected but appreciated. This is my second time using CARSTAR. The quality of work is superb and the customer service is phenomenal.I was rear-ended and the damage to my vehicle was substantial. My daughter had an accident out of state just before her return to the University of Kentucky. We dropped off the car after moving her in. The entire repair was done while communicating with us over the telephone. They did an excellent job keeping us informed and made the process as painless as possible. Outstanding shop! When my wife's new Nissan Rogue was rear ended we needed it to be fixed by a Nissan certified collision center, that meant taking it to South Broadway Collision in Lexington. We drove almost two hours from Williamsburg just to take it to this body shop. The customer service is excellent. Very friendly staff who walk you through the process and make getting your car fixed right easy. Top notch work by the technicians. I've grown up around body shops and I know the difference. These guys are great! Paint work and panel alignment are factory perfect. No shortcuts are taken. You can tell they take pride in their work. They send you text messages to keep you updated on your car's process. My wife felt very comfortable dealing with them and was treated in a first class manner at the shop. I cannot say enough good about them. Quality work, excellent customer service, and terrific attention to detail.

After South Broadway Collision Center fixed my car it looked as if it was a brand new car and had no imperfections with the paint job. It was flawless. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a great job done at a very reasonable cost. I am very pleased with the service. Chose Kentucky Collision on Angliana to fix my Audi S4. They will get your car right. I was rear ended, and the damage was relatively extensive. As sourcing parts is still complicated due to the aftermath of Covid, there were a few mishaps along the way. Dan at Kentucky Collision worked very hard to make sure every detail on my car was made perfect. Paintwork was phenomenal. I m very happy and grateful to enjoy my car again. When my car was rear ended, I was given a list of three repair centers to choose from by my insurance company. South Broadway Collision Center (SBCC) had the highest review rating of all of them, so I thought I would give it a shot. The reviews did not let me down. This is a five star establishment. My insurance claim and paperwork were processed efficiently and without a single hassle. Every staff member that I spoke with exhibited outward qualities of professionalism and attention to detail. I was left with the impression that customer satisfaction is the top priority. Every question that I had throughout the process was handled with patience, and the answers provided to me were of utmost clarity. I dropped my car off for its repair on a Tuesday and it was ready by Thursday morning. When I received my vehicle back, I did not also expect to find the outside and inside of the vehicle spotless. The team had washed and vacuumed out the vehicle to pristine condition. I cannot overstate the satisfaction I had in sitting behind the wheel of my own car in such a clean state after spending a few days in a rental. This touch of customer care should not go unnoticed and earned them the five star rating. Do not let any bad review scare you away. My experience was great, and I am sure yours will be as well.

I would love to give a 5 star on this business because of James General Manager for he is a professional and kind man! He was a comfort during a stress out experience. However it took to long for my car to be repaired and phone calls went unanswered. I am satisfied with the work but to be highly satisfied all the elements of professional care must be joined together!

Joe did a fantastic job coordinating with my insurance company, arranging drop-off, and keeping me informed throughout the repair. I had a relatively small job on an older car, and the work is absolutely fantastic, including paint match. It was done when initially promised, and they even gave me a ride when the rental car company didn't show up.I have seen complaints re: their no credit card policy, but this was clearly explained during my initial visit...and it makes business sense.I can't say thanks enough to the team at South Broadway Collision, thanks for making my Corrado look new again!

Outstanding service and work. I have never been to a shop where the work is done so properly, promptly and with updates every few days as to how the work is going and when the car will be ready. I have no reservations about recommending this company. They are absolutely superb.

Called and made an appointment 45 days in advanced, I was assured my parts were ordered. I called multiple times to confirm. On the day I was supposed to come in I was told my bumper was still on back order. I called the palumbo location and they told me nothing was ever ordered and now I have to wait another 6 weeks.Thanks Mimi

Went here to get repairs after being rear-ended. Did bring our car back a few times to get all the repairs as there was an issue with a sensor that took a while to pinpoint. But, they were very friendly and helpful every single time.The 4th time our car was here, they informed us they would sent it to the Kia dealership here. While it was at Kia, someone attempted to steal the catalytic converter, causing more damages to the car. Kia did not want to take liability, but Kentucky Collision Center covered everything for us so we did not have to deal with more insurance headaches, fighting with Kia, and worry about the cost of repairs. Brandi/y, Mimi, and Dan were all very professional every time we met/spoke with them and they really made the process of getting repairs a lot easier on us.Even though there were some hiccups, I definitely recommend their services because they are so willing to work with you and are so professional!
